Book 3: You & Me Make Three
Shaun Henderson learned young that the best defense is to strike first. It’s perfect in business but not in matters of the heart.

Taking the job opens wounds Morgan thought had healed.
If Shaun really does want her, he’ll have to learn that some things can’t be forced. Love plays by its own rules.
Book 4: Virgin for the Fourth Time
Bennett Stone has dedicated his life to protecting and saving lives when others failed. The word impossible is not part of his vocabulary.
Zoey Henderson has spent most of her life defending herself against her tarnished reputation, as a consequence of her father’s actions. Her five over-protective brothers believe no man will ever be good enough for her.
When Zoey experiences some medical issues, the urgency of finding her biological mother becomes paramount. Although her brothers tried and failed earlier, her quest is not one of curiosity. She needs answers, and there’s only one man who will go to any lengths to find them.
Bennett has been warned that Zoey is off limits. But no one controls his business decisions and when she calls, he takes her on as a client.
When Bennett discovers the information Zoey’s been searching for, he knows he can’t have it all. How can he decide between his pride and their passion?
Book 5: His for Five Nights
Alex Henderson needs to know the truth about his mother, even if it means exposing the family’s darkest secret to the world.
Ziva Grzyb will do anything to stop the human trafficking ring that is terrorizing her country. She wasn’t able to save her older sister, but she is determined to save other young women from the same fate.
Alex finds it will take more than money to gain answers. Willing to risk it all, including his reputation, he pretends to follow in his father’s footsteps.
When Ziva hears yet another Henderson is on the prowl in her country, she sets out to take him down.
Alex doesn’t expect an adversary to be his only hope. Ziva doesn’t think she can defend, never mind love, a Henderson. Will the key to their hearts also be the key to their freedom or will they pay the price for a crime neither committed?
Jeannette grew up in a large family, number ten out of eleven children, eight of them being older brothers. She quickly developed a great sense of humor, mostly from necessity. One of her greatest joys is sitting on the porch where they were all raised and hearing the stories from years gone by. Quietly laughing to herself, she notices how they embellish the stories more and more each year.
Storytelling was passed down from her grandfather and mother. Jeannette caught the bug at a very young age. If she didn’t have her head in a book, then she was off somewhere with a notebook, jotting down stories of what she would write if one day she became an author. Although the notebook may have vanished, the stories are still vivid and waiting for the right time to be told.
Despite having an amazing family, there have also been some sorrows in her life, including the loss of loved ones. Over the years, Jeannette has spent countless hours volunteering for different organizations and acting as a caregiver to those dearest to her. As a result, supporting the elderly became of utmost importance.
As she approached a milestone birthday in 2015, she decided to take her passion for writing and blend it with her desire to continue to help others. As she writes her stories, she hopes they touch someone’s life. Within the layers of the romance, the foundation remains throughout and is one that is dear to her; make a difference in someone’s life each day!
In 2016 she met someone who encouraged her to push herself even further and try her hand at spicy intrigue. One year later she has four books in this new series and each one pushing her limits just a bit further.
Like the wind, Jeannette’s life changed directions several times over the years, yet one constant remains: her desire to leave this Earth a little better than when she entered it as she tries to live by these words, Make your mark on the world today as your acts of kindness is all anyone will remember in years to come!
First - I highly recommend reading Ruth Cardello’s Barrington Collection. There key characters that overlap in this collection. I don’t understand why it’s called Barrington Billionaire since this family is Henderson. Either way there books in this series which are my favorites and some I was frustrating. #1 - Brice and Lena. Loved Brice. He was a jerk at times but aren’t all alpha billionaires. Lena on the other hand- I liked her internal debate vs her actual actions. #2 - Dean and Tessa. Tessa was HR and should have stopped the sexual harassment. Dean just randomly kisses her with no hesitation. He places his hands on her and blackmails her to have dinner or be fired. Not a fan of Dean nor Tessa. #3 - Shaun and Morgan- LOVE this couple. He is protective and respectful and becomes responsible and endearing. #4 - Bennett and Zoey. Another couple I like. Bennett is a “take no charge” guy and Zoey is damaged - which you find out in this book only since the previous 3 - she was strong and opinionated. This change in her demeanor was unsettling especially after reading her character for 15 hrs and then suddenly altering it. Oh and the whole premise was based on her health and did they resolve this? Big fat NO! #5 - Alex and Ziva - this time it was the opposite. Loved Ziva but hated Alex. While he is 38 he acted 15. Stupid threats that had nothing to support his “if you don’t do as u tell you - I’m going to....” what act like a spoiled rich boy (not man). Of all the stories this one had the most sensitive issue - sex slave and yet Alex was not logical or a strategist. He refused to listen to those who were equipped to make changes and instead he wanted to do it all by himself. This was my least favorite Henderson. Just hope Logan is better.
James Henderson was a really messed up father. He was a horrible greedy human trafficker. All his children had a horrible childhood without their mother(they thought mother, only to find a more sinister story later). Although very rich and seemingly confident, they all have embedded insecurities and not proud of their lineage. They don’t believe in love because they all grew without it. All the Henderson men find women who chirps at their cold hearts and Bennet melts Zoey’s heart, the woman who bore the worst verbal abuse from James. Sad and beautiful at the same time. I only wish there was a sweet version of the series. I had to skip quite a few passages because I don’t like getting into people’s bedrooms. AND I think the Henderson clan deserved their name on the series🤣🤣
I only got to Chapter 4 of the first novel of this boxed set before returning everything unfinished.
There was too much exposition and too many long paragraphs of internal musings for my taste. I love a story that unfolds through action - show me, don't tell me - and I realized early on that I wouldn't be getting that from these novels.
I also failed to connect with the main male and female characters - in my mind, he was just an obsessed with success jerk and she was a struggling single parent with no real personality or spark. The lack of action probably contributed to my perceptions.
Alex Henderson wants to find his mother. He doesn’t even know her name. Sivan wants to end the horror of human trafficking for young girls in her country. Follow Alex and Zika as they find the boss of the trafficking ring and try to stop the horror.
My favorite book hands down is Shawn's. I love how he was with Tyler and I love that you had an autistic child in your story. It really touched my heart. "New Bike!" All of the stories have their own unique view and they are all worth reading. Alex's story was by far the most dramatic .
Barely made it through the first one then the second was more of the same and I just hate it. Domineering men who basically demand and bulky the women into sex and it's supposed to be all fine? Seriously not my style.
Interesting family dynamics. They each have a bitter family past and although they struggle to find themselves, love touches their hearts. Excellent reading, almost impossible to put the books down.
I had read these books individually awhile back, but just finished this grouping of the five books through the last few days and loved them all over again.
Just ok. I enjoy reading about millionaires taken down by love, but this series was repetitive. So repetitive, I skipped pages. To get to the ending. Just ok.
I really themed this series. It is a complexed set of stories, but spell binding so you want to keep reading. This is one very scewed up family, and it is truly amazing they turned out to.be the sort of people that they are. The once who.love them have helped them to be the adults that they are.
