The light is my prison… and I can’t escape.

I’m Izora Dawn and this is the second prison I find myself locked in for something I didn’t do.

Only this prison is worse and far more dangerous.

Beyond the prison walls, the fae world is at war and nothing I can do will stop it. I may come from the light, but to win this war, to keep my family and lovers safe, I will embrace the darkness.

Shadowborn Royals is a crossover spin-off to Shadowborn Academy. You do not need to read the latter to follow this series. One thing is for sure—not even the shadows can be trusted in this Enchanted Forest…

Characters from The Shadowborn Academy series show up in this book. Although some parts of the story overlap with the Academy series theres still questions left unanswered which i hope get uncovered in book 3. Back in Shadowborn Prison and things are turning into a hostile environment for Izora (FMC) and her guys. Trials, tests, vicious inmates and plenty of secret steamy scenarios. As well as one psychotic and deluded light fae princess - Eva. Im just loving this series. It grabs you and keeps you on your toes all the way through it. Its a brilliant read

Received ARC from Author for Honest Review.
I Give this Book a 3.5/5 Star Rating, I Will Have to List this one as a 3.
Cliffhanger(?): Yes
Drama: 4-4.5/5
Suspense: 3.5/5
Romance: 3(?)/5
Heat: 3-3.5/5, The heat aspect did seem to be a bit fast which, I mean.. I understand but they almost-almost seemed filler-ish.
Fast paced(?): Yes to me.

No Spoilers.
Even though you don’t have to read the other series, I kinda think it would be a good idea, but that’s just me. Cause I feel like it should be read first.

I know this might sound weird, but this is a Prison series, which hooked me immediately from the first book.

But in this...it almost didn’t feel like it at some points.
Yes, you clearly see the guards, as well as prison cell bars...heck you see the bars in a pic at the beginning of each chapter...
But all the way up till 75% in the book, even though you do encounter words that gently help remind you that Izora is in a prison, but mostly you do..practically forget or well I nearly did while reading.
*So I do wish that was fixed a bit, it feels too laxed to me.

That is Until the >Last< 25%, you then clearly see that Izora is IN a Prison Setting.
And the writing at that point does feel much more flowier(?
Earlier in the book there really isn’t much breathing space and feels very compacted as well.

***It seems rushed***

Not enough back story about the titans and no building up characters. I have no idea who's who but the saving grace was the sexy stuff it's pretty hot and whew it made my toes curl.

I enjoy this series I feel like Izora is a much more likeable character and I love the tie to Vina and her guys but I like that Izoras are all on the crazy side. Her mum was definitely twisted in the end but it started like good intentions and I feel sorry that it ended the way it did

Wow, Shadowborn Royals really came out swinging. Shadowborn Royals was just what I was expecting and more from this one. I do recommend that you read Shadowborn Academy but it is not required. But really, this series is just so good, you do not want to miss any of them.

If you like prison stories, I do believe that the Dark Fae Paranormal Prison series is one of the best ones out there. Of course I could be biased because I am a huge fan of Gem's. She always knows how to write a good book.

Another great addition to this vast world and story

I have already finished the Shadowborn Academy trilogy so I’ve been eager to read more from this spinoff trilogy with Izora. I know the blurb said it isn’t necessary to read the other trilogy prior to this but I highly recommend it so you can understand the significance of some of the reoccurring characters and what has happened in the parallel timeline with Corvina and her adventure.

I am always amazed by the ingenuity and creativity that these 2 authors convey through their words. This entire world is so unique and detailed that it is easy to lose yourself within their story. The complexity of the plot is refreshing to read since it revolves around one villain, Eva, between the 2 trilogies. That’s not something that is typically seen with a series and their subsequent spin offs. These 2 stories with Izora and Corvina are intricately twisted around each other and they are occurring simultaneously.

I did feel as if some of the scene transitions were rather jumpy and abrupt. For example, the scene from the ball with Gold and then the next chapter she is waking up in bed with Luke but we didn’t see what ultimately happened at the ball. Not even entirely sure what the purpose of Izora’s attendance to the ball was.

I still loved to read more about Izora and her battles within the prison. I am very interested in reading about the woman from Izora’s dreams and the Titans this woman loves. I need that series next!! I would love to read that storyline!

Whew! I cannot get enough of this author duo! Bailey and Snow have created such a fascinating world with addictive characters. I have already completed the Shadowborn Academy trilogy, I highly recommend it, the characters are intertwined and it's just too amazing to pass up! I could stay lost in this world forever! If I could wish for a mini series it would be of this world! Shadowborn Royals picks up where the previous book ended and the events line up with the Shadowborn academy. So many battles and dealings going on behind the scenes, we really get to know what has been happening from Izora's side and just the lengths Eva has gone to. My heart was constantly pounding for Izora, the trials she has ahead of her and the danger her guys and her have to face. I have to hand it to her though, she really handles the sh+t storm well, she just takes it on the fly and keeps on going! In the midst of all the chaos, Izora and her guys manage to find a few moments to themselves and the heat turns up and sparks fly! I love each of her guys so much! They've made it their mission to protect her as much as they can even though we all know our Izora is quick-witted and as tough as they come! Truths are finally revealed and a heartbreaking reunion that brought me to tears for a second time, wahhhh!!! I can't wait till that evil Biotch Eva gets what's coming to her! I'm ready to dig into the final book! I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

From one prison to another she goes but inbetween she was transformed from a shadowborn to a light fae.

Gold has turned against her for some reason, Luke is struggling to stay close to her and the games that were optional are now mandatory.

Could it get any worse ...?

This is the second book in the dark fae paranormal prison series that follows Izora, and is a direct continuation of the story so you do need to read them in order.

Here we are prison bound again but instead of Gold being the head honcho Princess Eva controls everything and boy is she malicious!

Kill or cure is her motto and everyone is forced to both co operate and or obey.

I dont think I've hated a character quite as much as her in some time. She's an evil genius!

This series is action packed. If it's not the games that they must endure its fights breaking out and inbetween theres moments of rushed hot saucy sexy times. It's got a little of everything.

There are so many questions floating in my mind now it's over, and I cant wait to see if what I think will happen, does indeed.

To sum it all up, this is a really enjoyable read that leaves you wanting more more more.

I loved it!

Warning: Intended for 18+ readers due to mature themes.

It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I couldn’t put it down, I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. This book is Book 5 of 6 of the Fae Academy series. This is Dark Reverse Harem Paranormal Fae Romance. Shadowborn Prison is a crossover spin-off to Shadowborn Academy. You do not need to read the latter to follow this series. One is for sure, not even the shadows can be trusted in this Enchanted Forest. The light is her prison, and she can’t escape. Her name is Izora Dawn and this is the second prison she finds herself locked in for something she didn’t do; only this prison is worse and far more dangerous. Beyond the prison walls, the fae world is at war and nothing she can do will stop it. She may have come from the light, but to win this war, to keep her family and lovers safe, she will need to embrace the darkness. So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. It’s a must read. I highly recommend to everyone.

House of Dawn for the win!

Oh my holy Selene was this book good! Izora has her men but things have only gotten worse for them. Iz now knows who framed her, who the evil mastermind is and she has to deal with that along with betrayal she never expected. Her men are by her side and Izora's life is more interconnected to her Corvina's than she could've ever imagined.
But when the truth comes out and Iz gains clarity on who she really is she will stop at nothing to make sure Eva gets her just desserts. I really enjoy Izora as a main character - she's good but flawed, she reacts sometimes faster than thinking things through but she is loyal and kind. Her guys are all kind of awesome and they will protect her at whatever the cost. This books builds on their relationship and it's nice to see them becoming a team. There is of course the steam we all love so much from these authors but there's also a sweet kind of desperation to survive and enjoy the small moments together. It was an awesome read and I can't wait to see how it all works out.

It's getting so freaking goooood!!!❤
I started my Shadowborn Journey with Corvina in Shadowborn Academy and I eagerly awaited Izora's in Shadowborn Prison!!
Book 2 had everything I was Hoping for and A LOT more!!!
I do recommend you read Shadowborn Academy before this but you don't have to. They're just so damn good that you'll most likely WANT too😈
Now I know what you might be thinking... "Oh a prison story that's not for me"... But let me tell you these books are just so freaking good.
There's no "dropping the soap" in case you were wondering.😘

Another great book from this writing duo!
If you haven’t read the Shadowborn Academy series yet I would recommend doing so.Many things are interwoven throughout both series.Book one of Shadowborn Prison ended with a cliffhanger and LOTS of questions, most of which were revealed in Royals(book 2).The betrayals are bigger, the scenes with Izora and her men,STEAMER!🤤
If you’ve already read the Shadowborn Academy series, you know what ultimately happens. However the great thing about reading this series is that you get to pull back the curtain and find out what’s going on behind the scene.

These ladies sure know how to create a badass female and irresistible men.Bravo!

***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.***

This is the spin-off series from Shadowborn Academy and it is just as amazing! You do not need to read the Shadowborn Academy series to follow along as it is completely different. G Bailey and Scarlet Snow are amazing together and kept me turning the page at every chance.

This book is action-packed and keeps you wanting more. Izy and her men are now in another prison and man the twists and turns keep coming throughout this book!

OMG THAT ENDING!!!!! That ending was so crazy and I really need the next book in the series. I need to know more and find out what happens!

Loved it!

Izora and her men have been moved to the Light Fae Prison, and if she thought the previous one was barbaric, the new one is way worse. Eva has now her clutches on Izora and uses her for her experiments, to transform Shadowborn into Light Fae. But Izora has an ally that is guiding her to put a stop to Eva's plan to wake the Titans up.

Not only we follow Izora and her men, but we also get to understand what happens to Sage.
I'm still in love with Axel and Gold, they're both my favorite. I don't understand how Scott ended up in the Light Fae Prison since he was kind of a tutor to Izora in book 1 but I'm not going to complain!

I cannot wait to read Shadowborn Queen!

I love Izora Dawn! She is so strong and feisty and willing to do whatever to protect those she loves. I love that we finally get a bit more of her back story, and though part of it we know from reading the other series, it is nice to see that it is now in this timeline as well. I love how protective her guys are of her as well. They are willing to put their lives on the line for her and their commitment to her is amazing. There are a couple of curveballs thrown, but I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Ready for more

Izora is in an even worse predicament than before. Its hard to believe that her mother is so wrong that she believes she is doing the right thing. Its so sick. Izora's men are all trying to protect her but t its impossible in a prison. I do wonder about her friend, Sage. It doesn't look like she was changed in the same way. Hopefully I find out more in the next book. I also wonder how she will find the keys to trap the titans. There is still so much to this story.

What an exciting and intriguing second story in izora's storyline. I loved the cross over parts and how this book fills in some of the blanks from the first series, shadowborn academy. In this story we get to see character developments, plot wholes filled and revelations that will have you screaming when you reach the end of this book. I can't wait for the final book in the shadowborn prison series and to see how everything comes together for izora and her men. Bailey and snow have created a fantastic world full of Adventure, hot men and even hotter scenes. Absolutely loved it!

Part 2

I absolutely adore the whole shadowborn world, and these prison serie is no exception, it grips you tight and won't let go even when its over.

You know its not over so we'll all have to wait till the next installment.

But Scarlett Snow and G. Bailey sure know how to keep you on the edge of your seat till you can read what happens next.

Adore the characters and the growth they are going through since book 1. And the men have mercy they are hot as sin.

Enjoy this one definitely worthy of 5 stars

Izora relinquishes one prison for another, held captive by Princess Eva and a shocking helper. She must continue to survive Blood Trials while keeping her men safe and finding out who she truly is.

This book is a good bridge between the first and what will be the final book in her story. It continues the storyline from book one seamlessly, while giving you just enough of a teaser to make you thirsty for book three. I was not expecting Eva’s helper and the ending of book two only made it that more bittersweet.

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

Going from one prison to another, Izora slowly learns more secrets about her life through this second book. And she gets closer to her men too!

I forgot how crazy Eva is, and we actually see more of the crazy in this viewpoint than we did in Corvinas books.

I'm very intrigued about the keys Iz needs to find and how that will all go down. I'm also excited to see how she escapes and to see her kick butt!

This is a great series and I'm anxious to see Izs viewpoint on how it ends :)

Well plenty of plot twists. Things are definitely weird and not what they seem. One prison to another. I don't know I just think this could have been done differently. It's strange that Corvina's books are happening at the same time as Iz's. I think that's why I'm not digging them. I feel like a lot of it's more of repeats instead of a different story. Only difference is the characters. A few differences and challenges but honestly it's pretty much the same. I'm starting to get bored fast.

Absolutely love Izora!!! This one of my favorite series. Especially with the crossover from Shadow academy. Omg finished the story in like no time since I just couldn’t put it down. You will absolutely love this one. I would read the Shadow academy books also just so you kind of know what’s going on. These 2 authors are freaking fantastic in their own way. But together they are just amazing!!! Looking forward to next book.

Hello, I usually am able to follow the books I read and this book started out good then went all over the place. The first book of the series was great easy to follow, explained things, had good plot and followed a line.
This book however jumped all over for confusing had no idea what was happening who the new characters were moved places with little explanation made big leaps. I will not be finishing the series unfortunately.

SR picks up where book 1 leaves off, Izora found out who Corvina is to her, but what does princess Eva want with Izora & why is her mother working for P.E. & not helping Izora to escape? At least, those 2 questions will be answered in SR & now more arises such as will Gold & Luke get caught & what will Izora & her guys do next? Well, I can't wait for the conclusion to this series.

Ohhhh! We're in a new prison and Eva is calling the shots. Izora and the guys have Blood Trials and other inmates to worry about. But if you've read Corvina's books you'll get the other side of the story and what Eva has been up to and using Izora and Sage. Everything clicks into place with the Titan's and what was happening in Vina's books. So ready for the next book!

Secrets are uncovered, relationships are forged and danger lurks around just about every corner! This book is action packed and some questions are answered but there’s so much to come. I’d recommended reading Shadowborn Academy before this book but it’s not compulsory but it definitely adds to the experience! Looking forward to finding out what happens next!!

My only complaint...this book was too short! I need more of these characters! Thankfully, I see the final book on the series releases in only 8 days. Off to finally finish the Shadowborn Academy series while I wait for the next book! I love both of these series that the authors have co-written.

Great

I enjoyed this book. Action, some romance, a little humor at times, and surprise twists. It is well-written and has some great characters; a few love to hate characters, too. I like paranormal fantasy type books that have the elements listed above, so if you enjoy those then this is a good book (and series). I will be starting the next book right away.
