If you are on a journey to self discovery and self love then there are a few tips and tricks that you need to learn so that you discover yourself wholistically, then reading Finding Self is a perfect book for you. A book that helps you explore all your vulnerable parts, a book that teaches you: " Self Love takes time and dedication. It takes failing, being damaged, to rebuilding yourself up again. It takes loses people you loved for decades and preventing new ones to leave a mark. It takes losing your worth to understand what you deserve." I would truly recommend this book to anyone who struggles with loving themselves and feeling like they are not enough.

When I was done reading this book, I took my time and let everything I had read sink in. I allowed myself feel everything I read and there was this peace and clarity that I felt. I loved how easy it was to read through and understand. This book is pure, raw and extremely relative, almost like a natural conversation between myself and Sarah and I loved every page and chapter of it. I always looked forward to the short quotes and I absolutely loved them. I got to unlearn while learning through this book.

This book was absolutely needed at this moment in my life . It is such an easy read, almost like a natural conversation. This book contains a raw and uncut look into a life of a beautiful soul that has been misused and abused like most of us out hear. What i love about the book, is that she isn’t just telling us readers how to love ourselves, She is telling us how she loved herself, and we find the healing in ourself as a result. I also appreciate how it included many interactive pages, for readers to journal and find themselves during the read. This book definitely brought tears , and sparked the healing in for me and my inner child. Thank You MoonSoulChild.

Such an amazing book! I'm so overwhelmed by the impact of the transparency on every text. I wanted to read it slowly, but once I started reading I just couldn't stop, I read half of the book in one just night. I feel this is one of the books I can read over and over and over again. It really filled my heart with hope, love and support. I really hope Sara's proud of this book, she deserves it.

Finding self:The journey to self-love is a monumental read. I enjoyed every second of it. During the book I felt at peace and at the end of the journey, I felt at peace as well. The author writes in an understanding way, to make the reader comprehend best. Sarah tells her experience and provides advice. My favorite part were the little self-help quotes at the end of the page.

Thank you

Sara is a very talented writer and writes in a way that inspires me. I loved how she wrote about her own life experiences. Loving yourself is a journey that not everyone gets to experience but this was very helpful and inspiring. She made you think about yourself, especially during this pandemic is something that I needed right now.

I wish I had this book as a resource when I was trying to establish what it means to be authentically and confidently me during dark and confusing times. It is an easy and fast read. It truly read as if an older sibling or mentor was explaining life to me in an easy to digest way and giving advice. The most important and tangibly useful part is the lessons learned section after every theme imo.

My only gripes about this book are the numerous instances of incorrect grammar, especially my biggest pet peeve: "based off" as opposed to "based on." Then there is an abundance of run-on sentences and comma splices, often multiple on a single page. However, Sara Sheehan does have some lovely reminders packed into these 95 pages, and her experiences are EXTREMELY relatable in several aspects. I enjoyed her personal anecdotes more than the general preachy advice she gives throughout the book, but a lot of quotes did stand out to me, nevertheless.

This is a magical book, which is really important in your self-love journey. It helped me understand what I was feeling and I could see my thoughts written down. Also the structure is amazing, there are spots where you can wright messages to yourself, something that can be really helpful and the writer shares with us her personal experience and sums up the lessons that were learned. Moreover there are several quotes and reminders to forgive and forget other people and yourself as well. What I couldn’t understand was written there, I recommend it to everyone. Thank you for everything !
