My job is to keep people safe, keep my mouth shut, and blend into the shadows so the clients can get exactly what they’re paying for. But when sweet Claire comes to my boss asking for help relieving herself of the pesky little issue of her virginity, staying in the shadows is no longer an option. From first sight, I know Claire’s mine. And I’ll be damned if I let another man pop that cherry.

I listened to this on the Read Me Romance podcast on my drive to work. Meh. It was ok. I actually rolled my eyes a good amount at the beginning. Hence the 2 stars. 🤷🏻♀️
It was a short podcast so it was okay for what it was. It’s not like you can get massive character development in the timeframe. It was a quick and hot read.
This was a hard story for me to decide how to rate. In the end, I decided that I really liked it even if it's more like a slice of life. It was entertaining and enjoyable once I got past where Knox worked and what kind of business he worked in. I'm not a fan of stories where the characters work in that kind of business but since he wasn't actually participating, he was just protecting I decided that it was ok. The characters were interesting and likable although I would have liked it to be longer so that they could have been more developed. Getting to know more about them would have been nice. I loved that Knox and Claire were immediately attracted to each other. Claire felt safe with Knox and Knox knew that he wanted to keep Claire right away. I liked how the story ended but I would have loved for there to be an epilogue further out. It's short, steamy, sweet, and hot. I do recommend reading this book.
Title: Forbidden Protector Author: London Hale Format: audio Narrator: Jack Callahan, Mollie Stark Genre: erotic romance, Virgin Standalone: yes Part of a Series: I don’t think so POV: Knox, Claire Steam Level: toasty 4/5
Knox runs security for a local madam and Claire comes in looking for someone to pop her cherry. The instant attraction between both Knox and Claire is off the charts and Knox decides then and there that no one else can or will have her. I liked his aloha, protector dominance and Jack Callahan was the perfect narrator for Knox. Overall Forbidden Protector was a lot of fun and I’ll definitely be checking out more of London Hale.
Method:audiobook Rating:4/5 stars H rating:4/5 - Knox h rating:4/5 - Claire Drama:3/5 Thoughts:Loved this! Will be listening to more RMR podcast stories!
Out of all the audiobooks/ novellas from the Read Me Romance Podcast, this is one the best ones in my opinion. Claire and Knox were likeable characters, the story was so sweet and both voice actors did and amazing job.
Listened to this on read me romance podcast, this is a great short read/ listen. Loved it so much, it is connected to the Temperance Falls series so be aware of that. This is a fantastic drama free insta-love. Man sees woman, woman is mans endgame. Read it, you will love it.
This is a very short story (more like a vignette) in audio format. The story between Claire who wants to rid herself of her virginity and Knox who doesn't intend that man to be anyone but him. The story is really hot because it is pretty much all sex.
Listened on Read Me Romance podcast and I loved the narrators-especially the heroine Molly Stark! Quick and steamy, insta-love, and a perfect Saturday after read.
When I tell y’all I finished this book in a couple of hours!!! It was shocking, funny and steamy. Claire and Nox are so good together. I seriously need to read more by this author.
I don’t like to give spoilers on the books that I read. I believe the blurb on the back is enough for you to decide if you will read the book or not. If you choose to read, enjoy!
