Animation is core part of design. Principles of animation by Ryan McLeod who promotes the collaboration of motion and animation in web. Motion captures emotion. A smooth animation can generate the necessary reaction from audience if done properly.

It is a good book about interface animation, but I only wish that the writer did not use so many complicated words to describe different principles of animation. The language of the book is rather complicated.

Animation Handbook set the right tone and vision about interface animation. Unfortunately, it provides only a bare minimum of practical examples but offers a comprehensive list for future reading.
