Andy is my soulmate, whether he believes it or not. When he moved away, he broke my heart. I may have broken his, also. That doesn't mean I won't keep trying. Some day, we're going to be together. I don't care what he says.

I got an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review!

The Grape Vine is a short story, and I usually don't like short stories!

But this book was different. It was funny, witty and had an utterly dramatic ending!

Usually, everytime I read a short story, I end up asking myself what happens next. But in this book's case, all I did was laugh.

So yeah, The Grape Vine was a short, fun read!

This is a short story about a young girl that spends her off time sitting in a cafe and eavesdropping on people and listening to what’s going on in other peoples lives, the gossip of the town.

I thought it was overall a good, quick read, but it lacked the juicy details that keep me hooked! It did catch my attention at the end when they were talking about the main character and her brother and the mysterious events that happened when they were young. I wish it would have been a bit longer so that we could have found out more about it all.

It is a good teaching for people though, things that make their way down the grapevine usually end up changing from person to person so that by the time you may hear it, only a tiny bit is actually truth.
