Several great books in one easy to read collection.
Mob Ties - Michelle finds out that there are still some sweet, handsome men in the world who know how to care about a woman and Joe who has been coming to the bar where she works for over a year and seems to check every box. Ok, so what could possibly happen if Michelle and Joe got to know each other better? Well, Joe has been working as a Mafia enforcer since he was barely a teenager and, wait, there is more as someone is apparently trying to kill Michelle. I enjoyed this book and found myself rooting that the two would find happiness despite all the obstacles that seem to be against them This was my first book by this author but I have added her to my list of "go to" authors.
Mob Lust - Donny and Ava have nothing but distrust and dislike for each other, until they didn't. When Ava found herself so deep in debt that she thought there was no way out, the last person she thought would reach out to help her would be Donny. That small act of kindness allowed the two former enemies to find out that together they were so much more. Can the danger that seems to surround them be forgotten enough to allow them to have a life that neither thought was possible?
Fight or Flight - I have mixed feelings about this book! I enjoyed reading it and can't wait for the next book by this author but there were parts of the book I had a great deal of trouble reconciling as a believable part of the story. I won't reveal what those parts are so that you can decide for yourself but for the most part I truly enjoyed Jake and Penny's story and the "love/hate" part of their relationship. Everyone needs a hero as well as an antagonist and Jake proved to be the ultimate hero to Penny's initial antagonistic behavior. This story definitely follows their bumpy ride in the sometimes less than "friendly skies".
There are several more books in this collection that I know you will enjoy reading as much as I did so do yourself a favor and one click this collection and have yourself a great read, you won't be disappointed.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
