JOSHUA WILLIAMSON & MIKE HENDERSON’S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED HIT HORROR SERIES RETURNS!
Sixteen of the world’s worst serial killers were all born in the same small town…but Agent Finch and Sheriff Crane solved and buried that mystery.
Didn’t they?
Violent copycat murders imitating the infamous Buckaroo Butchers have begun in Portland, Oregon, and if Finch wants the killings to stop, he’ll have to team up with the daughter of the Nailbiter himself.
A brand-new mystery begins in this EXTRA-LENGTH FIRST ISSUE!
New murders in good old Buckaroo. And just like that the gang is back together again. Like before, things are not as they appear and only one man can make sense of it. But can you trust him? I know I wouldn’t.
This is Williamson so you know the writing is A+. The story moves easy. The humor and the horror dance across the pages. The artwork is great. I love the use of shadow and color. The variation in spacing and borders are nice.
I have not read any nailbiter issues before but this one is pretty self contained. The horror movie references and the design of the issue itself were cool and art was nicely done. Bunch of wacky murderers starts a cult and we have our big bad killer whom is the father of our heroine and he has been presumed dead shocker he is alive and our crazy officer keeps him inside his “batcave” and another cute detail is that the secret entrance book was “Silmarillion” by tolkien.
Nailbiter: The Sequel. The Buckaroo Butchers return. Are they resurrected? Were they cloned? Are there perverse imitators running amok? Not quite as strong as the original, but no sequel ever is. Worth your time!
