COLD & DEADLY by Toni Anderson - I love when an author doesn't waste time getting right to the action. From the first page your plopped right in the middle of the suspense and peril and it does not slow down until the last page.
The first book in the Cold Justice – Crossfire series gives us both new and previous characters from her Cold Justice series. It centers around the FBI’s Crisis Negotiation Unit. Even though the main plot of this book is serial killer who is targeting the FBI, which our hero happens to be at the top of the list, the author also gives us a detailed view of the Crisis Negotiation Unit in action which was fascinating to read.
I am a huge fan of her Cold Justice series so it was a no brainer that I was going love this spin-off series. Strong but flawed alpha men, tough but vulnerable on the inside women, edge of your seat action and suspense and a smokin romance. Can't wait to see whose story is next.
COLD SIGHT by Leslie A. Kelly – Great start to a series about investigators that possess 6th sense abilities.
BLINDSIDED by Gwen Hernandez - A sexy thrill ride of action and suspense. Blindsided takes us deep into the world of both the white and black hat hackers.
Scott Kramer was assigned to follow and gather proof that Valerie Sanchez stole plans for classified weapons from her employer, Aggressor International who hunt terrorist via the web. Problem is she doesn't look the part of a person that would do that plus he finds himself very attracted to her. But he's there to do a job and is a true patriot and no matter her sex or looks if she's guilty he will turn her over to the FBI.
Valerie grew up with a father who was a black hat hacker. In her adolescence years she helped him with his scams. Once she grew up she wanted to use the skills she learned from her father for good. She thought she found the perfect job working at Aggressor helping to find security leaks. Her current job was a hard one to crack but once she did she was feeling proud of her accomplishment not realizing it was a set up to frame her of espionage.
The action ramps up from here when both Valerie and Scott are accused of multiple crimes which sends them on the run trying to find proof of their innocence. Along with the suspense both Scott and Valerie have to deal with the scars from their past both internal and external as they give into there strong attraction to each other all while trying to stay alive and one step ahead of the authorities.
HARD TARGET by Pamela Clare - Action packed start to a new series that blends familiar characters from the I-Team series along with new characters who work for Cobra International.
Javier Corbray and Derek Tower run Cobra, a black ops group funded by the government. Nick and Holly Andris are also part of Cobra. Those are the familiar characters from the other series but we are introduced to the rest of the men and women who work for Cobra.
First up is Derek Tower's story. He is asked to go and get the sister of a man who died for him out of Afghanistan where she is a midwife on a humanitarian mission to try and educate the women of that country to try and save the live of women and their babies.
Jenna Hamilton father is a tyrant who pushed both of his children out of his life. She refuses to leave with Derek when he shows up. She understands the risks of an American woman educating Afghani women could result in her death but doesn't care. It's not long before things go FUBAR and Derek and his teams mission changes to bodyguard and getting Jenna safely out of the country. What they don't know is they have been betrayed. Soon everyone is after them – warlords, Taliban.
Action, suspense, edge of your seat thrills along with a hot romance all make up this book along with getting an up close lesson on women's issues in Afghanistan, Uganda and Haiti.
COVERT EVIDENCE by Rachel Grant - This series has taken readers to all sorts of places with the most fascinating stories full of suspense and romance. This go round we’re in Turkey and its not long before we are shot out of the gate on another thrilling ride that involves a terrorist organization and good and bad CIA agents.
I have to say I think the CIA is the shadiest bunch of people – at least how they are portrayed in books and movies. Its rare they are shown in a good light. I often wonder why that is. Anyhow, when the main hero of the book is a CIA operative and their lives are all about lying and completing the mission at any cost the author sure has to work at making the reader like him. That was certainly the case with Ian Boyd who is a case officer with the CIA who has been undercover in the Middle East for many years. Ian cares about nothing but his missions. He is currently on one to find out the identity of a terrorist leader when everything goes FUBAR and he ends up on the run with a woman he doesn’t quite trust and treats like a mark even though he’s attracted to her.
Cressida Porter who we’ve met in previous books is an underwater archaeologist currently on a research trip in Turkey. Finished with her part she had plans to continue on by herself to gather information for her dissertation. Unknowingly the local she hired to her with translation got her mixed up in the middle of a terrorist cell that has so many traitors both foreign and domestic my head was spinning and I wasn’t the poor person trapped in a foreign country who can’t speak the language and on the run with a man she doesn’t know she can trust and if he has her best interests at heart even though he’s the sexiest man she’s ever laid eyes on.
The author writes about Turkey in such vivid detail its like a fascinating history lesson. Once I start one of Rachel’s books I cant seem to put it down until I’m finished. Another great addition to the series!!

Awesome book!
I loved this book and read non stop for days. I got this because I love Cynthia Eden and Toni Anderson books. Found new authors to follow. I did skim over one story and that’s because it was told in just her point of view and I prefer getting both points of view. Each story had a happy ever after. Loved staying on edge on these stories too. I highly recommend this book.

This isn't the first multi author book I've read but is by far the best as such I would recommend this book, and stories, to mature readers (sexual content) there are parts that are funny, steamy, suspenseful, and romantic, but understand once you start reading it will be difficult to stop.

Danger around us
What's there not to like in this 10 books? Romance, suspense, mistery, passion, thrilling situations, and HEA endings. Strong characters, feminine and masculine, are testing their limits and loyalties constantly. I love them all!

There is not one bad book in this collection.
Each book has its own storyline, plot, and characters. The common theme has a hard ass who falls for a tough feminine women who is strong and independent.

10 fantastic stories
10 stories, 10 authors, 10 fantastic reads. Every story grabbed me and wouldn’t let go. I stayed up way too late every night this past week because I could not put it down. Don’t miss this anthology! Highly recommend!

Love this anthology, very suspenseful!
All of these books are very good to read. I loved the suspense, mystery, and romance. This did take me several days to read, and it was so worth it!
All of these books are very good to read. I loved the suspense, mystery, and romance. This did take me several days to read, and it was so worth it!
