Jemma inherits a house and moves to small-town Palmer, Alaska. As she begins her business of flipping furniture, her gorgeous but unpleasant neighbor gets in her way. Sure, she’s making some noise. A little sawing. A bit of drilling. Her dream’s at stake. And she’s not sure about living in Alaska.
Nathaniel loves Alaska and moved here for peace and quiet. He’s terrible with relationships, but when a stray puppy enters his life, his heart begins to heal. Could Jemma and Nathaniel have a happily ever after?

LOVING ALASKA

A missing grandmother. A trek across rugged Alaska. A woman who’d rather be anywhere else.

Bree loves cities and dislikes wilderness. When her mother sets up a handsome driver for the long trip to find her grandmother, she agrees just to get the job done. After she finds her, Bree will be on the next plane out of here. She won’t fall in love before she leaves.

Michael enjoys coming home to Alaska, even for a visit. As he drives north to the family’s gold claims with Bree, he’s soon caught up in her search. Michael must guard against a romance with her. But his conflicted heart keeps pulling him closer to her and home to Alaska. Can these two find a way to make love work?

CRAZY ABOUT ALASKA

Two men are interested. She picked the wrong man once. Will she choose the right one now?

As a single mother and a real estate agent, Holly works hard. Climb a roof? Check. Work with her former, difficult professor? Maybe. She wants a husband who can love her and her twin girls. When other men run because she has kids, they become her secret.

College professor Adam enjoys his work, his dog . . . and his secret life. After his home burns, he needs to find a house in a hurry. Oh-so-appealing former student Holly is perfect for the job—and his heart. Adam has to win her before the other man does. When secrets are revealed, will love grow or die?

Writing books that are fun and touch your heart

Even though Shannon L. Brown always loved to read, she didn't plan to be a writer. She earned two degrees from the University of Alaska, one in journalism/public communications, but didn't become a journalist.

Years passed. Shannon felt pulled into a writing life, testing her wings with a novel and moving on to articles. Shannon is now an award-winning journalist who has sold hundreds articles to local, national, and regional publications.

"The Feather Chase" was her first published book and begins the Crime-Solving Cousins Mystery series. The eight-to-twelve-year-olds in your life will enjoy this contemporary twist on a Nancy Drew-type mystery. Shannon was born and raised in Alaska so she had fun writing "Falling for Alaska," the first book in the Alaska Dream Romance series.

Shannon lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her professor husband and adorable calico cat.

Decent, clean romances great for cozy reading

These books were pretty good. Conscientious, morally sound characters made the books enjoyable, as well as the beautiful descriptions of the settings.
However, labeling them "inspirational religious" books seemed a bit of a stretch for me. Beyond brief mentions of regular church attendance and the MCs' determination to refrain from physical intimacy until after marriage, there's no other indication of an "inspirational religious " nature. Not a single prayer before a meal, or when characters were faced with problems was ever mentioned. That was a bit disappointing to me.
Other than that, the first two books were good. By the time I got to the third one, I was sick of matchmaking parents. I didn't like the way the heroine continually hid something so very important and unchangeable from every guy she tried dating. Then to have her react in the very way I expected when someone did the same to her with something much more understandable...Super...Annoying. I skimmed through the last couple of chapters.
Technically, these books are pretty well-written with much attention paid to the setting. There were a couple of oddities. In book one, I understood the hero to be an only child, but a brother is mentioned in book three. In books one and two, I understood the heroine to be a blonde, as well as the youngest sister. But in book three, the heroine's hair is dark.
I guess these just weren't to my taste, or maybe I read them on the wrong day. But if you enjoy a cozy, easy to read, clean romance with very few technical mistakes, I would recommend it.

Sweet Trio

Each of these 3 books are so cute with great characters and amazing chemistry. Even better than the main characters are the kids and pets. Best of all are the very vivid pictures of Alaska that Cathryn paints with her descriptions.

In book 3 I did find myself asking Holly “Did you really think you would date a State Trooper and he not investigate you from the get go”? Jemma and her cooking mishaps were so funny and I wish recipes were included because some dishes did have my mouth watering!

I chose to entitle this review as such because know feel as though I know and love Jemma, Bree, and Holly. These amazing ladies managed to make good lives in their chosen professions, without men. It wasn't u til a move back to their be!over Alaska, the their lives even had time to think k about romance. Topsy turvey times brought interesting changes to their planned lives. Read this series by Kathryn Brown to find out more.

Great bundle of Romance books

I really enjoyed reading these books. It made me want to travel to Alaska to see the sights and towns that were described in the books, since some of them are actual places there. I would recommend this bundle to anyone who enjoys reading romances with happy endings.

Alaska Dreams

I just came home from a visit to Alaska. This book truly takes you there. I loved the scenes that the author tells you come from her family's real life experiences. The three sisters in these clean romance stories really draw you into their lives with their strength, maturity and little quirks. I recommend this collection.

An Alaskan love story.

This set of books was so amazing I couldn't put them down. It revealed around 3 sisters finding love in Alaska and living there after they first said they would not. A great read.

Making pie

Who knew that making pie was such a stress release. Holly I want a recipe or two. I love this series. It is so nice and refreshing to read a book without cursing and sex in it. Since the Harris girls are all married. I’ll have to choose my next read.
