Morgan knew she didn't want to go out to sea...now she knew why.

The simple act of a surprise birthday party brings trouble from the depths off Pearl Island, and Morgan is forced to solve a murder and confront the threat to the island. It's her destiny to protect Pearl Island, and it's residence, just as it's Cora's destiny to try and destroy Morgan.

The sea witch is full of trickery and malice as she tries to lure a group of ocean salvage divers with the promise of gifts from the sea. But Morgan, with the help of her friends Gabe Holleran and the Colbright sisters, plans her own  slight-of-hand.

Who will win this battle? As Morgan tries to find the murderer, she also finds more about the history of Pearl Island and the roles the Seaver Family has played in the battles against the tricks and deceptions of the sea witch.

Fun Cozy Mysteries, Paranormal Mysteries (with a fantasy twist) all set on the Florida Coast. A Romantic Christian Series, with a strong sense of family set in upstate New York. These are the stories Victoria writes.

A hopeless animal lover, Victoria adds plenty of cats and dogs in each book, and her love of gardening shows through the characters. As a storyteller, it is important for Victoria to draw the reader into the story; to make you feel the sultry tropical heat or the numbing cold of the north.

Victoria and her husband live in South Florida and own a landscape garden service. Two feisty cats make themselves at home, usually on her desk as she writes.

A lover of a good mystery, she is an avid reader and likes to be outdoors. When she is not reading, you may find her working on a needlepoint project.

Victoria LK Williams really knows how to spin a tale.

Morgan Seaver is almost terrified of being on the water.

Kathy is doing everything she can to convince Morgan to help in the preparations for a party for her sister to help her get over the stress of having her former law enforcement partner on the island being jailed for murder.

The party is taking place on the ferry that travels to and from the mainland.

While out at sea, they come across a stranded vessel. When Jenny goes to check the boat out, she sees signs of a struggle, and a lot of blood. But no body in the area.

This is a great continuation of the Beach House Mysteries.
There's some humor, a good bit of suspense, and a strong plotline. This is a stand alone story, that is also a clean read.

I love this series of books

Morgan and the islanders who are who close allies, once again find themselves working together with a little help from deceased aunt Meredith and small kitten, Misty. There appears to have been a fatality when a surprise birthday celebration is cut short in the waters surrounding Pearl Island.
The wicked Cora once again makes herself known and her menacing aura alerts Morgan on more than one occasion. Indeed, a body is found, and the question arises. Who committed murder and why? What does the sea hag have to do with any of it?
Although afraid, Morgan realises she has to find ways of standing up to her adversary and she isn’t alone as Gabe is right by her side just as he is meant to be, it is in the families’ traditions who inhabit the island. Now, and in times gone by.
Piece by piece information is unravelling and yet there is much more to learn and unfold and I can’t wait for the next instalment! Great read.

Wonderful story!

The mystery itself stands on its own, but this is a series best read in order. Because a large chunk of the book has to do with the over-arching storyline, that will continue on during this 6-book-series. So it’s best enjoyed when read in order, because of the characters, their development, and the legend.

What an incredible cast of characters. I just love Morgan, Gabe, Jenny, Kathy and the rest. And kitten Misty, of course! Mischievous, cute, playful as a kitten should be, yet wise beyond her years… The characters are well-developed and realistic. It felt like Morgan could be my friend. My bookfriend! This is the kind of book where you immediately feel immersed in that cozy atmosphere. Such a warm feeling!

This is turning out to be one of my favorite series ever!

At the end it’s clear that this isn’t over. Not by a long shot! And I’m glad it isn’t!

I was completely drawn into this story about sunken treasure, a sea hag, and family legends. It was great fun watching Morgan, her amazing friends, and Misty (an adorable kitten) solve this case. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series! I highly recommend this book and series!

This is starting to be one of my favorite series. It has a wonderful story, great characters that includes a mischievous cat. It's full of mystery, has everything: a great story should have and throughout the books of the series there's a legend that captivates the reader and makes you want to keep knowing about.
Loved this book!

Growing stronger

Morgan's power is growing stronger and she's still searching for answers. Her new friendships are also growing stronger. Together, they have an island to save and a sea witch to defeat.

Mist Across the Waves

It’s very difficult to find stories with mermaids. It’s even harder to find good ones. These books are really well written and I’ve truly enjoyed the first two books.
