In the final installment of this series, Anissa feels as though she has been brought to the lowest point of her life. For years, she’s done nothing but fight for her sanity and the battle has become relentless. She just wants to provide the best possible life for her son and become the best woman she can be. But with life constantly threatening her, she’s praying that she’ll be left breathing in the end.
What a wild ride this series was!!! I'm at the epilogue and I'm inspired to write this review. I was excited to get to know more about the relationship between Layla and Vice. Vice is a real one, and while they are totally different, they get each other, and see each other. I was also happy to see the relationship evolve between Haze and Anissa. It's almost like that feeling that you know you two are meant for each other, but it just takes time to get things back on track. The connection between these two characters feels so relatable.
Justin was a tell tell story of jealousy and it's destruction. Clark was experiencing all the karma. Actually they both were. And it affected everyone around them. I still can't believe the extent to which Justin was willing to go....like your sister?! Wow. I could never think to. Darkness is real, and so very spiritual, and I hated to read the demise, but so happy that Anissa was spared, while honoring herself, and she never stopped trying. In the end, GOODNESS, always prevails.
Wow! A soldier of love is what I think of about Anissa. She had more hurt and pain in a short span of time than most would be able to endure over a lifetime, yet she stood through it all.
What a mess Justin, Anissa brother, turned out to be. I mean to do your own blood like that was beyond low. And to know that all of this started because of a business deal not going his way, which had nothing to do with Anissa, was even worse. He was a simple dude that deserved a lot worse than he got.
Clark was a low woman. Just skank. I wasn't feeling her at all and although she got very little karma, what she was experiencing was better than nothing. I'm glad Anissa didn't fall for her guilt traps. I'm glad that they didn't allow for their mess to interfere with Kaizer, Justin's son with Clark, getting to not know his aunt, Anissa and his siblings.
I loved Layah and Vice together. Come on Black Love💕.
All the couples, Tay and Sasha, Brandon and Karina (whom I need to read up on), Chris and Desi, Vice and Layah and Phil and Anissa... I Love it All💕. Black Love Wins.
I really enjoyed this series. It was raw and felt so real. I like how the Author kept you on your toes throughout the entire series. It was A LOT, YIKES, yet it was such a great read. Highly suggest this series.
ALLL I Can say about this series is....WOW!🙌🏾 Author Nyerra wrote the HELL Outta these (3) books because this was Truly a BOMB Collection!👊🏾 I Loved EVERYTHING about the plot; storylines; character development; writing.......EVERYTHING!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Miss Nyerra put her Heart & Soul into this ENTIRE series.❤❤❤❤❤ It dealt with Soooo Many REAL Life Issues, but what I Appreciated More than Anything, was the True AND Unwavering Love of these Romantic Relationships!😘 She made it KNOWN that #BLACKLoveIsPower......it Does EXIST!😍 AWESOME, AMAZING, WONDERFUL Work Miss Nyerra.....'Thank You' for a Grown and Sexy Read, GREAT Job!🙋🏾♀️
The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because Anissa’s character was so annoying. She was just so sneaky, with her meds for her Migraines, with the Maylen dude and her brother Justin. Now Phil, that’s book bae! I loved his loyalty and love for Anissa. Vice and Layah’s relationship was nice as well. Overall, it was a good series that was well entertaining. Nyerra did her thing!
The third book kept to the same mode as the first two, with drama, trouble and all sorts of mayhem. The ending was as I had expected with a somber tone in the midst of the whole ordeal. An interesting story ended with much needed closure for Phil ,Anissa, Layah and Vice. And for the record, Clark still needed these hands...
Wow! This was a great series. It all ended well. Everybody is happy. This series had me all in my feelings. The suspense and drama was perfect. I was so happy for Anissa and Haze and Layah and Vice ! I almost didn't want this to end. It was so good!
A page turner till the end. Unconditional love continued to flow thru Phil and Niss, but when the smoke had cleared it was plain to see who hasn't met those conditions.
Apart from a few grammical errors names specifically this was an absolutely great reading it took me on a roller coaster of emotions I'm telling you I was pissed like what the f*** is she thinking you can't trust everybody but this was great
This finale was full of just as much drama, deceit and secrets as the first two books. I was glad that Anissa and Haze finally got their happy ending and would love to read more about Vice and Layah. Is definitely recommend this series for reading.
I take my hat off to this author for writing a definitely awesome book. I felt as through I knew Anissa and Haze simply be because I had a truly beautiful love story such as theirs!!!
Wow, wow, wow. What an ending. This was a thrilling series. Kept my heart in my throat the whole time. I loved the characters. So much drama but nothing could penetrate the black love and black power.
This series is hard to explain. Nissa brother really turned into a totally different person. His hate for Haze ran him crazy. That auntie was to sneaky but karma fixed her. Glad everyone got a happy ending
Thank you for ending this on a high note!!! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I wouldn't mind seeing a story on Chris...putting a final end to the crews love story!
I absolutely loved how the series wrapped up. I loved the fact we got a better insight in the relationship between Vice and Layah. I loved this series . Amazing
I just feel miserable reading it now because nobody is happy or can me happy ever in this story. So much animosity and hatred written on these pages. On to the final installment.
I absolutely loved this series. I finished this book in a day. I just needed to know what was going to happen next at every twist and turn! Got another book husband and fiancé
