Denying Temptation

Lilian Moore and Dane "Dragon" Stark are definitely an interesting couple. I do not like how Dragon deters Lilian's attraction at the beginning. Even if I kind of understand where he's coming from, he's a fool. I do love how he steps up when certain news comes to light, though.

Oh, he still manages to mess up some more, but Lilian definitely does a good job of setting the record straight. I may not be a violent person, but I do like seeing justice served, and that undoubtedly happens here.

There's setup for not only future books in this series but also another series, Reckless Kings MC. I can't wait! 😍❤️‍🔥

I have read every single Harley Wylde MC book to date and I must say that "Dragon" is my favorite. We first meet Dragon in Ashes book during the incident where we're introduced to Ramirez and we all learn something awesome about Nikki. If you haven't read "Ashes", definitely consider it. Anyways, Dragon wasn't in great shape following that book. Fast forward, and we meet Dragon at home.

Lilian is Grizzly's, President of Devil's Fury, adopted daughter. Like her sisters Adalia and Shella, she's been adopted into the biker lifestyle and world. After all she's suffered in Colombia, she seems to have found her footing with DF. However, she's terrified of men and thus, stays away from the clubhouse and all the brothers---except Dragon. She's drawn to him and you can tell it almost immediately. Dragon is drawn to her, but he's a biker and she's hot. What more can one say?

This book involves many things such as forbidden romance, age gap, pregnancy, and some more dark subject matters. However, there's a reason for what happens in the book. Lilian needs to find some closure after she deals with a setback. Dragon needs to get a clue or at least admit certain things about how he feels.

As always, Harley's book will take you through an emotional roller coaster. Honestly, I really am enjoying the Devil's Fury guys. I also enjoyed getting to know a little more about the Reckless Kings.

I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves Harley's MC stories and also, to people that are looking for MC themed books. Do yourself a favor and read the other two books first. It will make it enjoyable to know the secondary characters. Well done, Harley! You've done it again!!

Another fantastic story from the author and series. Dragon and Lillian wow She’s been through stuff no one should go through and is still so strong. Dragon is helping her to learn how to take care of herself. But what she really needs is him!!! He says some really crappy stuff to her and it snowballs downhill from there. And as the usual mistakes are made and drama ensues! The characters are wonderful, and at one point I was actually rooting for another character to win lillians heart! And that never happens!!! I need more of these guys stories!!! And honestly I want Griz to find him a woman!!! 5+ star read!!!!!

Lilian who survived the cartel, was broken when she was saved by the Devil Fury’s MC. No men were able to touch her. Dragon taught Lilian self-defense. He was attracted to Lilian but was afraid of Griz(Lilian adopted father) the prez of the MC.
One thing lead to another and they slept together. He said cruel things to Lilian. Lilian wound up pregnant. She told her sister. Her sister told their dad. Lilian ran away to a different MC. She got kidnapped while going to a doctors appointment. Both MC’s came together to find her she eventually forgave dragon and they had their HEA.

After they had sex for the first time (when she was 22) he told her that it was only a ONS and lied to her to push her away because he thought she deserved better, they kept their distance from each other for 5 months, she was celibate during that time (she also found out she was pregnant), the hero didn't have sex or kissed anyone but for the first few weeks after he pushed her away he let some club whores sit on his lap and he felt them up (off page)
°OW drama after the MCs got back together the hero went to a party at the clubhouse, one of the club whores stole the hero's phone and sent the heroine a text -pretending to be the hero- telling her that she shouldn't wait up, she got angry and marched to clubhouse, when she found the hero he was talking and laughing with another club member while the club whore was shoving her tits in his face, she grabbed the woman by the hair and beat her up, the hero tried to calm her down but she was not having it, she threw her property cut at his face and left the compound, when the hero found her he explained to her that he had already pushed the woman away several times and that he was not interested in her he told her that he wasn't even paying attention to the women around him. Eventually the club whore was branded in front of everyone to make an example out of her
°Weak hero - just because he tortures people doesn't mean that he's an alpha, he pursued the heroine only after the Pres gave him permission to be with his daughter
°The heroine was feisty but she wasn't the smartest, she kept putting herself in dangerous situations over and over again

Dragon knew that he had to stay away from Lilian. His Pres Grizzly would feed him his nuts if he found out that he had a thing for his daughter Lilian. She was too tempting. Lilian suffered at the hands of the Columbians and was saved by the Devil’s Fury. Her adopted father Griz would to anything to protect his girls. She was pushing it with wanting Dragon but she couldn’t stop. And when one encounter caused Dragon to push her away, she ran with something every special. Now Dragon better get her back or there will truly be Hell to pay.
Dragon is a sweetly and he did try to stay away. I wasn’t thrilled at how he pushed Lilian away. That always makes me mad when the guys act like asses. You knew Griz was going to beat the crap out of him when he found out. When they did track down Lilian is was all but on. It was going to get messy. Lilian knew she was pushing it with Dragon aka Dane. I wished she would have talked to a few of the other ladies. Ok we wouldn’t have a kick ass story but man, running to Reckless Kings Pres Beast and getting kidnapped and then dealing with Dragon. UGH, it was a cluster {beep}. Dragon didn’t make things easy though. He just kept screwing up. I was surprised that he was being such a dumb ass. Dragon is as hard core passionate as all the other MC guys. You have to love that. But dude, wake the heck up. I have to say that who doesn’t want some rough/hard/steamy sex.

Let's start with while this may be a bit darker then Harley Wylde's books are normally it wasn't extremely dark that being said I absolutely loved this book. Dragon is the ultimate alpha a**hole biker but oh my is he hot. Sweet Lillian the peeks we've seen of her in previous books were nothing on her true personality and can I say I loved what a bada** Lil was in her own way. She took everything she's been thru and not only came out of it but came out way stronger then she ever knew.

You will go back and forth between wanting to slap Dragon and shake Lil for the things they do to wanting to just hug them at how adorable they can be. Dragon is more then want Lil wants he is exactly what she needs and I'm so glad he realized it.

While its not necessary to read them we were first introduced to Lillian in Havoc (The Devils Boneyard) and we see Dragon and some of what he's recently been through in Ashes (The Devils Boneyard) I would recommend grabbing those and giving them a read as well. In fact if you love reading about hot alpha bikers falling for their women go back to the beginning and grab Vemon (The Dixie Reapers) settle in and get to know the entire family and how all these clubs became interconnected to help ensure the safety of their women.

DRAGON IS HOT!
I really enjoyed this book but it was missing the excitement I've come to love from Harley's books. Dragon and Lillian make a great couple. He's dark to her light, he loves Lil very much and wants to help her come out of her shell by opening her up to pleasure like she's never known and Lillian is more than willing to let him. When Dragon takes charge in the bedroom and goes all Christian Grey on Lillian it is set your crotch on fire smokin hot. But Lil surprises Dragon when she shows him she has alittle darkness in her too. I love Grizzly, he's my new book boyfriend this month. Lol. He is a Grizzly on the outside but a Teddy on the inside. I truly hope he finds love again. Nobody deserves it like he does. While Lil is about as sweet and caring as they come she is a total bad@ss. When she tore into the club wh*re it showed not only her strength but also her vulnerability. She still has trust and low self esteem issues which Dragon is helping her with. I was surprised at the revelation about their baby girl and can't wait to find out more and the ending is kind of suspenseful and definitely leaves you wanting more. I highly recommend this series to everyone.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Dragon is book three in the ‘’Devil’s fury MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Dragon is a biker that wants his presidents daughter. Lillian loves Dragon. After a horrific past, Lillian doesn’t trust men but Dragon is different. When Lillian ends up pregnant and upset, she decides to leave. When Dragon realises the error of his ways he is determined to get his woman back.
The chemistry between Lillian and Dragon is clear to see and I liked them together. Their love for one another is undeniable. I didn’t agree with the way Dragon pushed Lillian away but I understood why.
I really liked Beast and I hope we get more of him!
I loved the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

I was given the opportunity to receive an ARC for this book. I have to say I have read every Bad Boys Romance, Dixie Reapers, Devil’s Boneyard, Devil’s Fury & Hades Abyss. So I can say without a doubt Dragon is my favorite book! Lilian doesn’t think she’s strong but she was so brave throughout this book. I know this book came with a trigger warning but I think the way it was written helps keep it in preceptive. Dragon had to work for it once he pulled his head out of you know what. Grizz loves those girls with all his heart and it makes me sad that Mae was gone before Lilian and Shella got there. I hope that maybe he finds his second love but until then I can’t wait for the next book. Oh and I can’t wait for Beast and Hawk from Reckless Kings’.

My question for the day is am I allowed to use the word “idiot” in a review, as in Dragon acted like a total idiot the second he pulled his pants back up? I know the Zon frowns on that, but Goodreads is more respectful of freedom of speech….
But I digress. The hero in question behaves in the manner in question after he and the heroine, Lillian, have a one-night stand, or rather, an afternoon delight. He does his best to verbally push her away (as I said, idiot) by being an rhymes-with-Masshole to her and implying that he is being a man Ho-ho-ho with the club Ho-ho-hos.
Flash forward almost five months, and Lillian is pregnant. Lillian’s little sister rats her out to soon-to-be grandpa Grizzly, and Lillian takes off. For much of the book, Lillian is elsewhere- either running or kidnapped- so the romance level is relatively low in comparison to Wylde’s other books.
The story is not one of my favorites. I didn’t immediately take to either main character, and what separated them seems flimsy at best. Lillian complains about not being treated like an adult to make her own decisions, but she takes off like a sulky little girl who is going to get in trouble when her daddy finds out what she did. The reason I gave this book five stars instead of four is because I listened to the audiobook version and the narration is wonderful. Umi does a great job with the voices and she makes listening a fun experience.

Lillian was rescued from a Colombian cartel and she's having Dragon teach her self-defense. Under normal circumstances, it would be no issue but Dragon is having a hard time (pun intended) keeping himself under control as he trains with her in workout mode. The Prez would have his head if he knew the lurid thoughts of Lillian flowing through Dragon's head so he tries to distance himself from her. But she's intent on having him teach her so much more and he finally gives in with the understanding that it's a one and done. She does get her way, but I was really upset with the way that Dragon reacted. He humiliated her by basically throwing her out and telling her that she should get tested because, you know, he was with a clubwhore (no he wasn't) the night before and you never can be too careful. A second time he disrespects her when she finds him at the clubhouse with another clubwhore shoving her boobs in his face. I didn't look at him the same way, even when they finally worked things out and had their happy ending.
Umi Markkanen is the voice of Devil's Fury and her excellence is once again on display.

I loved this book by Harley Wylde. This is the story of Dragon and Lilian. Dragon is a grade 1 asshole. Lilian is the adopted daughter of Griz the club president. Dragon has been teaching Lilian self defense and when finishes he and her sex then Dragon says nasty stuff to her, causing to turn from him. When Griz is told Lilian is pregnant by someone else he looses his control and Lilian runs away. She runs to the Reckless King's MC where she is kidnapped and tortured. When she is rescued her and Dragon get together, but then Dragon does something else and Lilian tries to run again. This story is darker than Ms. Wylde usually writes. I will tell you know than that you will want to hurt Dragon more than once in this book. Lilian goes to be a strong woman while retaining her softer side. Very good story.

I have been waiting for Lillian's story for quite a while. I knew it wouldn't be an easy path, her horrific past would preclude that. She is stronger than she knows and has the courage to ask Dragon to be with her. He has wanted her for so long but he knows she is too good for him. Not to mention her dad, Grizzly will kill him slowly and painfully if he did. So he says it can only be one and done. But that one time has consequences and Lillian keeps it a secret. When it is revealed, events spiral out of control. Absolutely fantastic! Harley Wylde always handles triggers with sensitivity without glossing them over easily and she did the same in Dragon. So consuming, I couldn't put Dragon down! I cannot thank Ms Wylde enough for creating these stories that give us places to go, adventures to have when we have to stay where we are.

I love a good steamy romance, and Dragon (Devil’s Fury MC 3) definitely delivers on the heat and intensity. However, for me, this one went a little over the top. Considering everything Lilian had endured, some of Dragon’s actions in the bedroom were a bit upsetting and hard to reconcile with her trauma. That’s why I gave it three stars.

The storyline itself is gritty and emotional, with strong characters and plenty of tension, but I wish the intimacy had been handled with a little more sensitivity given her past.

On the bright side, the audiobook narration by Umi Markkanen was absolutely fantastic. She did an amazing job bringing the story to life, especially with the male voices. I really hope she continues narrating the rest of the series, she’s a perfect fit for these kinds of intense stories.

I'm a huge fan of Harley Wylde's after having read everything of hers. Dragon is part of the Devil's Fury MC and Lilian is the adopted daughter of the president of the Devil's Fury. Lilian is secretly in love with Dragon and Dragon wants Lilian but he's scared of how her dad, his president, will react to him claiming Lilian so he is a jerk to her and breaks her heart. The story has a few twists and turns and that is all I am going to say because I do not want to give any spoilers away. I will say I thoroughly enjoyed Dragon and Lilian's story although most of the time I wanted to hit them both upside of the head...lol

This is the third book in the Devil's fury MC series, these are standalone novels, however, to better understand this story you should read the previous two books in the series with Dingo and Outlaw's stories. There are scenes in those two books that help understand what is happening in the story and explains some aspects.

I thought that the story was good, but I the way the book started with no explanation of her past or what exactly they were doing together it was a bit confusing and only later on you get an explanation. To better understand the story I guess I would have like it if the author explained a bit better her past.

I discovered Harley Wylde's books 4 months ago, and have read them all since! With each one being better than the last, with Dragon being a little bit darker than her other books.

Lilian is one of my favourite heroines - strong and sassy despite what has happened to her in the past. Dragon is an alpha biker with more than a little a*****e thrown in to make things interesting.

Harley Wylde brings an emotional rollercoaster that keeps you intrigued that you can't help coming back for more, honestly I drop other books once I know her books are released as I know they will be amazing.

The most anticipated book Dragon Devil's Fury is here and I loved it. Dragon Is your typical biker who thinks he knows what's best for you which I understand completely. He felt like he was not worthy of Lillian's love but he couldn't be more wrong, she's exactly what he needs in his life. Lillian suffered a lot growing up but she didn't let it consume her, she fought for a chance to be herself. Both characters have a dark past but when I read this book all I saw was love, acceptance, freedom, happiness. This is a must read and a reread for me, it's also a definite recommend.

Good MC Series

Anyone who likes a realistic MC read with danger, possessive men, and some sizzling heat pick up this series. Be warned this particular book did have a bit of gore. If that's not your thing you can skip those few pages. The book was a great read, as was the rest of the series so far I can't wait to read #4. Just enough romance without being mushy. Just enough heat without being all sex it has a great story line. Wylde knows how to spins story and keep your attention from beginning to end. Definitely worth the purchase.

Dragon and Lilian

Wow Lilian suffered at the hands of the evil Colombians and rescued and Grizzley adopted her. She was very skittish of anyone touching her; especially men, so she asked Dragon to teach her some self defense and was actually very taken with him and vise versa, but Dragon thought she deserved someone better than a biker. She eventually wound up pregnant and didn't tell him and ran away for a few days, only to be kidnapped by a deranged man. She's a truly strong and amazingly resilient young woman. Other twist and turns throughout. Happy reading.

This book was another hard read. Lillian had a rough start in life. When she was rescued and became not just part of the Devil's, but their Pres Grizzley's daughter, along with 2 other rescued girls. He send her to college & nursing school. Dragon was teaching her self defence. They got together once, he told her they shouldn't of and wouldn't again, then things went wrong. Another brilliant book

Swoon worthy.🔥 I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Although, I wasn’t sure at times whether I wanted to kick or stab Dragon.🤷🏼‍♀️ He did redeem himself though and it was amazing to hear Lilian stand up and be so strong while finally coming out of her shell. I’ve got a girl crush! Lil is just amazing sweet, fierce ,and strong! She is by far my favorite h so far. Harley Wylde always leaves me wishing she could write even faster. This is definitely in the re read pile I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of Dragon or lil I just want to live in their world, and I am so glad that for a little while I got to.

This book was a little darker than the others I've read in this series so far. Every MC is different and every person is different so having some darkness doesn't really surprise me. This book was very well written and give you a peek into their MC from another angle.

I absolutely enjoyed the story of Lilian and Dragon. The storyline was addictive and I couldn't put it down. Mind you I felt like punching Dragon a few times but that's just because it's so well written I felt for Lilian. Can't wait for the next release!!!

Another winner

An excellent addition to this series of books. Good characters and plot. A few twists and turns plus action and romance. All and all a good book.Hoping to see more books on this MC.
