An exceptional story about a veteran's return to home and a life in the Ozarks. Iraq dealt her a cruel blow. The PTSD hits at the worst possible times. You will feel yourself injected into her life and pain. She struggles to overcome her injuries and prove to herself that she is as valuable to the community as they see her. Mixed in with that is laugh out loud snippets that help break up the tension and bring the story to life - just as if you were sitting there. Some very interesting contacts in her life cause all kinds of events to occur. The interpersonal events will grab your emotions and never let go. This one will grab you as you feel for this veteran and the turmoil that has been thrust upon her. If action is your go to, go to this story. The action is intense and fast paced at the most appropriate times. Other times it is so subtle it sneaks up on you.
