Sometimes darkness overcomes light. Alegra is gone. Vanished into thin air and I am going out of my mind. We made progress. We made love. I showed her kindness and gentleness, when I had no idea that I had any. Beneath the frozen surface of my soul, there is warmth. There is Alegra. She found out an ugly truth. A past I had no idea existed. And now? Alegra finds herself in the arms of the enemy. I’ll raise hell to bring her back where she belongs. I don’t care what I need to do. Who I need to kill. Because sometimes evil wins. And make no mistake, I am the evil.

OMG! What a book it's so captivating! I enjoyed about this book is that the female main character defied the norms.I really enjoyed the dual POVs and how inside their heads it lets me feels. It was definitely a dark romance with a few scenes that can be triggers, so proceed with caution. But I for one this is one of the things Alegra is a unusual woman! She’s a poor vet student that loves taking care of animals and she likes to stay low because she doesn't trust people! Kazimiz is great and head of his family! I enjoyed their banter! I liked that they are so different but both are basically drawn to each other. I enjoyed how these two characters had a pushed and pull between the two of them and the fire that's lit under their skin. This is a fast paced story that has me panting for more. The couple has a sizzling passion that's entertaining and drama filled. Wow the action burns up the pages. It will all keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what will they do next. All of the drama and action is so exciting that it will keep you turning the pages until the end. I absolutely enjoyed this series and I'm looking forward to the next story from this author. Her stories are awesome. This story walks a thin line between that of being dark but it's also full of fun. I think my favorite part was their banter and how I could never guess what was going to happen because the main characters chemistry is a wild and fun ride and they absolutely complete each so well. This is the kind of story that's a absolutely pleasurable experience to read. HAPPY READING!!!
This really could and should have been part of the first book. I really feel for those who bought both copies!!
Again the writing is amateurish. Not sure if the author will ever read this review, it is 4 yrs after the book was published so maybe the author style has improved. However, as a piece of advice; it’s important that as an author you give the readers all the tools they need to create an image in their heads. This makes for a better connection with the reader and a successful book.
So, for example, the scene where she is locked in the cage and Santini comes in and we’re told he reaches in his pocket for the keys of the cage. Next we’re told he yanks her out. The image in our head is fractured. As an author you need to spend a couple of words where he actually unlocks the cage first!!!
This is an example of what happens repeatedly over both books. Fragmented story telling. Not sure why the editor didn’t comment on these errors as well as the grammatical and spelling errors ( maybe they did! Who knows).
Let’s hope 4 yrs later the author’s writing style has grown and developed and a better editor employed.
I enjoy Kazimir and Alegra's story. I understand why she ran away, but knowing the type of people Kazimir and his father were, I would have wanted answers first. Especially since she overheard that his father killed her mother and that she had a brother, Vlad, who happened to be Kazimir's right-hand man (friend). Kazimir really did love her. Santini was a ruthless sleaze. And after what he put her through, he should have never been able to get away once they found and rescued Alegra. All in all, I am glad these two ended up back together, and I'm sorry his father ultimately died. I really liked Vlad, and I hope he gets his own story.
First time and probably last time reader, very disappointing. First the 2 books of thus "series" using that word very loosely, should have been one book. The progression of the FMC story was unbelievable. The general storyline and progression makes no sense at all, probably because it was so rushed. The author did not do a good job with the flow of the story, nor the completion of the storyline. It felt VERY unfinished. AND, how do you end a series on a cliffhanger???? You can get the epilogue by signing up for the author's newsletter??? Irritated beyond measure, this was kind of a mess
Kazimir is a beast! I knew it! What a man won't do when his woman is in trouble. This couple was so beautiful! Interesting how they came together, and then the turn of events of how they are connected; but they were so good to and for each other. Kazimir loved this woman before he even met her, once they were together, it was a wrap! He was crazy about her. Alegra didn't want to feel the way she felt for Kazimir, but she could not help what her heart wanted. Hopefully there is more to this saga. Great work!
I don't normally leave reviews, but this time...this was just juvenile. I mean who has sex with a person several times in 1 night after they have only had 2 weeks to recover from 3 broken ribs and that was only the second time in life they had sex?! Who is so obsessed with a woman that they spend all of their time with them as their father dies. Which 21 year old stomps their feet? I can't. I gave 2 stars to the first book and 1 to this one. Glad I did not pay directly for this book.
This was a nice conclusion to a duet. I would have liked it to be longer with more development of the story especially new relationship between Allegra and Vlad. I also had a little trepidation about Kaziar. I loved his personality and devotion to his family and showing his softer side to Allegra but I still had the twinge of not bringsll in on him because he was the mafia. I’ve read several of Coco’s books and I was intrigued with all of them. Until next time y’all happy reading.
Alegra was really Kasimir's heart and soul. Story of redemption throughout this 2nd book. However the editing (grammar, misspelt words, content in new chapter that was completely unrelated to what was written in previous chapter, ie. if I had a fractured jaw, how can I give oral sex) was inconsistent throughout both books which for me negatively impacted my enjoyment of these books. A good read.
Conclusion to Kazimir and Alegra's love story. I enjoyed this book. It was short but I really got into it. The love scenes were super hot and Kaz is definitely a beast. Lots of action, good back story. Fun read.
I CANNOT EXPLAIN WHAT I JUST READ!!!!! THIS SERIES WAS AMAZING!!! I loved reading about Kazimir & Alegra's romantic adventure!! If you haven't read this series yet, you must get a move on!!! Believe me when I say that you will not put it down!!
1st time reading this author's work and was truly impressed it really was a good duet and the Extended epilogue was a bonus Allegra and Kazimar complex but love shone true
The conclusion of Allegra and Kazimir's story, "Bratva Redemption," was a nice compact little read. Secrets were revealed, lives were taken, bonds were formed. Nice wrap up!
Man I loved this. Good writing and it was definitely a good read. He played no games and slayed a mob for his woman. Sad about the dad. But overall it was a good read
Bratva Redemption by Coco Miller brings the story of Alegra and Kazimi to a thrilling conclusion. After hearing some uncomfortable truths, Alegra fled from Kazimi’s care and has fallen into the unkind and brutal hands of his enemies. Now Kazimi must determine the traitor in his midst and rescue the love of his life. Easey-peasey? Kazimi and Alegra made a lovely couple, he was so ardent in his love for her, and she was sweet and feisty! Ms. Miller gives readers a sweetly detailed epilogue. https://theretiredreader.com/f/bratva...
I can't express enough how much I hate this book. The first book was okay enough to keep me reading, but this one... KILL ME NOW!
I'll just dive right into it...
Alegra & Bratva Douche are in his mansion (this is after he kidnapped her), they are having a petty argument, and Alegra says to Bratva Douche, “Fuck you.” Jeez, Alegra is such a firecracker, I want to do a voiceover and mock the shit out of her juvenile defiance.
I grab her hair and yank it back until I know it brings pain. “We will fuck, don’t worry, but not until you have accepted me, accepted this. You will let me in.”
“I’d rather die,” she whispers.
“If you die, plan for me to be buried by your side. You are not getting rid of me, Alegra Wilson. I am yours.”
– excerpt from Bratva Addiction
HILARIOUS! This is so dumb that it's hilarious!
"She has no idea how dangerous of a man I really am." --Bratva Douche’s words.
Okay, Bratva Douche, you are such an alpha fuckwad. The author did not have to write this. If he is as dangerous as he has to remind all the readers that he is, it is better shown in the interaction with others. How do people react to him? BIG FAIL! I LOLLEDDDD! I don't know why some female authors think writing an UBER DOUCHE means he'san Alpha Male. Uhm, no, he's just an unfuckable-unredeemable-fucktard. PERIODT.
There is more I have to share, so grab your popcorn!
"I lay down in the lounge chair next to her. My cock presses against the tight material of my briefs, the tip peeking out in my thigh. I don’t hide it. I have no shame in my size, because I know I have a big dick."
Bratva Douche just proved he’s an UBER douche! Oh my! He is an even bigger dick than his big dick. LOOOOL! This is toooo funnyyyy! All of the authors who write this kind of crap drink from the same sad well, and I have had enough of it. This well needs to be filled in with sand. Someone, please get rid of the-controlling-unreedemable-no-character-development-emotionally-broken-alpha-douche-with-the-big-dick well.
Bratva Redemption ... I don't know what to say about this book. I severely disliked the first book, but I read both because the story was deliciously horrible. So horrible I couldn't stop reading it.
I didn't care for Bratva Addiction, but since I invested time in Alegra and Kazimir their dysfunctional relationship, I read this one, too.
I skipped through most of this book; it was just too much unnecessary talking and drama. The two books could've been one book. She could've trimmed down the shit if you ask me.
I don't like this book and don't know how it ends.
