The protagonist of the story is Rudra. He is actually from Mumbai but the story unfolds as Rudra was covered in snow in an unrecognized place so it provokes our curiosity to acknowledge the queries behind the reason of his arrival to this place. He found himself to be present in the mountain. As the chillness temperature rose high he couldn't withstand the climate so he started to search for a place to rest and that is when his eyes get into the sight of a cave. As he stepped in, he could see a monk who has indulged in meditation. In order to satiate Rudra's starvation, the monk gave him a fluid to drink. Rudra could see a change in himself. Then Rudra learned a wide range of magical things from the monk, he felt that he has slowly adopted the traits of the monk. Rudra yearns to know his true identity. Is Rudra really a monk or is he being mesmerized by the monk? Who is Poorna? Can Rudra return to his normal life?
These questions drove us until the end of the book. It was unputdownable book the author has done a wonderful job in portraying the characters and the language was lucid and easy to understand. The pictures that were in between the paragraphs were amazing to discern which the author was trying to convey. It was a wonderful journey that I enjoyed throughout the book and I loved the way how the author has taken the readers to the varied places. It is one good spiritual book.
These questions drove us until the end of the book. It was unputdownable book the author has done a wonderful job in portraying the characters and the language was lucid and easy to understand. Adventures of Poorna by the author Mayur Kalbag is a perfect mixture of Adventure, mythology, Suspense, Magic and spirituality which will keep you engrossed throughout the whole book. The journey of Rudra to achieve the main purpose of his life and unveil the reasons of his reincarnation is intriguing with a lot of twists and turns and gripping adventures. He encounters many strange events and explores lakes, mountains, sages, wonderful creatures, aliens, cosmic energy throughout his whole journey. The cover of the book is interesting, so is the title. I loved reading it and the writing was smooth and understandable. Overall, I loved the book and would recommend it to everyone.

Rudra opened his eyes only then found himself submerged in snow. He doesn't have any idea of where he was? How he ended up there? To save himself from the frozen cold he took shelter in a nearby cave. To his surprise, a sage appeared before him and he knew about Rudra. Sage gave him the magical water which satiated Rudra’s thirst. He asks Rudra to join him in the journey to Smriti waterfall with his disciples.
In the lake, he underwent some kriya to know about his past lives. He remembered his name was Poorna. Afterward, Poorna took up the journey to the skhandayan cave to see his guru, Nath Guru. During the journey he encountered many challenges and learned few important kriyas, spiritual trainings. He somehow knew that all this was preplanned. But he don't know the purpose of his trainings.
Will his Nath Guru reveals his purpose? Why HE was chosen? What are the rituals he has to endure to finish his journey?
This book is an entirely different genre from what I have read before. It's the blend of spirituality and adventure. This gives the experience of traversing through the spiritual world. The author used many terms related to spirituality throughout the book.
I happen to know some of the terms so I understood better what the author is trying to say.
The story includes much-varied mass build, dangerous creatures like Aswalaas, stinging grasshoppers, ozroombhika the caterpillar, oodan matsya, phookiru kaava the protector bird, squidipus, Himalayan Scorpion, aaheenga pakshi, Naaga Narkomba etc.
The story also involves travels through space and Galaxy to the other Milky ways and different planets.
Some of the things described in the story remained me of the movie avatar, especially Khandaavu Lantern. The only difficulty I faced while reading is the length of the book and some rituals explained in the book are a bit long. Altogether this is quite a different and enjoyable read.

May 9, 2020Adventures of poorna,the debut work of Mayur Kalbag,is a mythical voyage of the protagonist Rudra who wakes up in a strange land and meets a monk there.Upon his guidance, he sets in to a long questful journey, gaining a lot of mystical skills, discovers his past life, meets his guru and friends and finally finds the purpose of his rebirth.
The plots and characters were soo beautifully described that they would get struck in the reader's mind forever.The concept of shivering was instinctly redefined at many instances.I personally liked the way author personified leaf and thorns in the story "leaf would bite if not asked permission to pluck it" and "the thorns oozes ink when touched the leaf".The colored water and the vapors that monk offers Rudra to quench his thirst and satiate his hunger were so fascinating.
Apart from detailed description of the plots and characters the author also mentions about many rituals,havan pooja,third eye opening, appearance of Lord shiva and many other spiritual and mystical events which many folks could relate.
Title is apt to the story.Author's intentions and scope of the book are well depicted.The story is little lengthy.On a whole I like the book and I'd recommend it for all the readers.

The protagonist is a citizen of Mumbai who found himself covered by snow when he opened his eyes, which provoked my curiosity when I started reading the book.
He walked cutting through the misty fog and the chilled weather and encountered a monk indulged in meditation. Rudra got an idea of the monk's power when he offered Rudra the magical water to quench his thirst and ease his exhaustion. Then travelled with him to the Smriti Waterfall. There he underwent some kriya to know about his past life.
Everything was getting clear to him. He came to know that he was addressed as Poorna in his past life and was a deciple of Nath Guru , and then with this realization he started his journey towards the cave of his guru. On the way he faced a lot of challenges and processed through some spritual trainings.
The plotline is unique. The writing style is really simple with a strong vocabulary. The book is a bit fast paced and the explanations of the actions between the wild dangerous creatures through the journey of the protagonist gives enhance the thrilling part of the story. Every characters were beautifully described.
As a debut novel i would say the author has done a great job because his debutante doesnot put any patch in his writings.

June 3, 2020Adventures of Poorna is a story that makes you wonder and wander at the same time. At the time we all find ourselves confined to our homes, quarantined, this book transports you to a mystical world of adventure. I personally enjoyed the voyage, the beautiful and vivid descriptions of people and places and nature. The book offers a relief from the monotony of our daily lives and narrates in excitement a journey worth reading and maybe even living, if ever possible. I loved how intricately all experiences are woven. Even though the details get a little too detailed sometimes, I enjoyed giving it the time it deserved. The opening itself grabs your attention, and the author manages to keep it, right till the end. Overall, it was not only entertaining but it made me think over a lot of things. What interested me the most was the experiential nature of narration and how humanly convincing it felt, even if it had mysterious and spiritual elements to it, with specially the cultural/ traditional elements added to it.

Rudra could able to see the magic by himself he tries to learn more magical stuffs to earn his own identity.
I appreciate the book on a much deeper level of mythology facts in the main character as rudhra this book really never creases to move and enchant me
This book is one of the most interesting book I have read so far and Rudra finally moves to spiritual journey.
I've been seriously entertained by this collection its big and the writing is generally very excellent but i've bought many other mystery anthologies and this one definitely has a higher ratio of excellence story
The characters are well developed and described i was completely stunned and kept the book for an hour kudos to author
The language is simple and lucid easy to understand author exquisite book with many interesting tags!

Adventures of Poorna is a mythical journey of the protagonist. The book is a collection of eighty three chapters. The journey of Poorna is full of adventures.
The story starts with Rudra lying in the Himalayan Mountain Range. He then found a monk who told Rudra that he is waiting for him from a long time. While sitting in a cave, he recalled his past life and he felt that he is already familiar with the persons he has just met. His name was Poorna in the past life and his re-birth is to fulfill some purpose in life.
The journey of Poorna takes us on an adventurous ride. The plot of the story is well constructed. The images used in some chapters makes the story more interesting. This is a great mythological story with a touch of spirituality. Although this is a lengthy read but it was worth my time. Really enjoyed reading this story. Would like to recommend this to my fellow readers.

The title of the book is apt for the story. The story is full of adventures and a thrilling read. The book revolves around Rudra and his journey. The book is though a long read but the time you will invest in reading this is totally worth it. The storyline is unique and I am sure readers will love reading about this book. The book starts with an air of mystery and thrill. The writing style of the author is very good. Language is simple. The use of Sanskrit word added a new flavour to the story. The story is fast paced and when you start reading the book, you will feel glued to the screen. The book will keep you hooked till the end. Overall, the book is an amazing read. I know it's bit long but please read it and you will surely love it.

Adventures of Poorna by Mayur Kalbag is a mystical thriller revolving around the protagonist Poorna. I never came across a story like this before. This freshness was enough for me to get glued to the story until the end.
One night, Rudra a young man who lives in Mumbai wakes up to find that he himself is covered in snow in the Himalayas. He was puzzled with his situation and manages to crawl to a cave nearby. There he met a sage who offers him water. He slowly tries to find the who he is and how he ended up here. His past life slowly unravels in his mind. Rudra learns that he was named as "Poorna" in his past life. He was in an adventurous voyage to find answers to many questions.
This is just the beginning of a beautiful journey to know and explore the universe. The plot is absolutely fantastic. The author deserves an honest applaud for penning down this kind of imagination. Each and every step is filled with uncertainty and curiosity. I was puzzled at certain stages because I have no idea where the story was going.
The author has explained all the inner emotions in detail everywhere. This slows the pace of the story drastically. Because of this, the story is much lengthier than my expectations. Of course this builds suspense in each chapters too. But I have mixed feelings about the length of the story.
Overall it was a good experience for me to read and enjoy a true voyage through words.

Amazing book that captures a huge variety of Kriyas, rituals and initiations in painstaking detail. The universe of Poorna leaves the reader spellbound and being a part of his adventures makes you ask for more!!
The evolution of the protagonist from a normal human to the heights that he goes on to achieve show that it is indeed possible to accomplish.
The spiritual aspect of the book makes it stand out from the rest of the fiction literature.
All in all an extremely interesting and exciting book that you don't want to put down till the last page!! An absolute page turner, get ready for an out of the world journey that will leave you with an adventure that you can't forget!!

When a book consists of multiple extraordinary things together with perfection from the author's creative fantasy mind, I believe it's enough to impress readers.

The author’s effort, dedication, and time took this book to another level. The writing style is classy and so aesthetic. Very standard sentences and chosen words are used for this story. No offense! Many of them were new to me. And I love to learn this kind of new and modern words so, that’s impressed me. The plot is catchy and very engaging. It was no very fast-paced book for me but I have taken every zest from it while reading.
I will recommend this book to everybody who loves fantasy, adventure, thriller, and so on. If you guys haven't read this book yet then I must say grab this book and take the right track. You guys will not regret for sure.

Today I have read some stories of the book"Adventures of poorna". It's a very interesting book and very attractive too. The author of this book Mayur Kalbag wrote very beautifully and also wrote in a very disciplined manner. There is nothing in this book that we dislike something or say we just not feel good while reading the book. This book is very good and I liked the book Very much. Here are some stories of the book Adventures of poorna:
In that cold weather, Rudra wanted to search anyone and then he saw another person there. This makes him feel delighted . It was a monk named Guruvarya. Guruvarya and Rudra had a conversation and then he takes Rudra to a place with hymns and Shlokas with the help of Guruvarya Rudra got to know about the past where he was named Poorna.
It had slimy looking skin and quite amazingly its body composition was luminous in texture. Just like a serpent it seemed to have scales that were silver and shiny. I could not see its face as it had hidden it from us. Babaji again spoke to it. “The person you are seeing seated beside me is Poorna. His full name is Poorna. He is on way to the Skhandayan cave to meet his Guru but will be spending a night with us. We have known Poorna from previous lives but have never been able to share our knowledge about the Ghoorghoor-aghori Meditation technique with him. This time, though I am keen that he will learn it before his return journey!” You both will get initiated into this meditation practice tomorrow morning. The entire process will go on for three hours with two breaks in between”. As I was listening to Babaji I felt pleasantly surprised. I was not at all aware that I was going to get trained in the Ghoorghoor-aghori meditation. Even Guruvarya hadn’t mentioned anything about it. All he had said was to spend a night with them and then move on towards the Skhandayan cave. My initial plan was to leave the cave and the lake by early morning but now the plans had to be changed as I had to stay here for longer to learn the meditation technique! Adventure of Poorna by Mayur Kalbag is a long novel. This book has depth to find out. Author's imagination has been shown in the book which is beyond thinking. The book has a unique concept which I read till now.
Story revolves around a person named Rudra. Rudra founds himself in Himalaya. In that cold weather, Rudra wanted to search anyone and then he saw another person there. This makes him feel delighted . It was a monk named Guruvarya. Guruvarya and Rudra had a conversation and then he takes Rudra to a place with hymns and Shlokas with the help of Guruvarya Rudra got to know about the past where he was named Poorna. Filled with adventures. So, here the title of the book "Adventures of Poorna " sets very well. And further on the story continues with Rudra. A mythical voyage continues.
A truly scintillating story , I found it to be. Writing Style is pretty good. I found some good and new words, it was interesting to know it's meaning. "Words have power" , this suits well to this book. .
Cover of the book is creepy one but it seems book contains some suspense or adventure. Title of the book relates well when Rudra meets Guruvarya and he tells about past life. Narration is fine with its speed. I must say , I was glued to the story till the last. Story was an engaging one. It was a great book which gives knowledge along with enjoyment. The book itself gives some positive vibes and inspiration from Rudra's Journey. We often read a lot of books but this book is going to be really an antique piece it has everything a reader finds. Illustrations in the book provides knowledge along with lovely look. They are colourful and makes the book bright.
Overall the book is a beautiful journey with adventures , confidence , experience and many more things....! For knowing more about Poorna's Adventure and hidden suspense , you must read this book.

Reading a book like this is a new realm of possibilities of life with flaunting adventure.

The book is about the life of a man named Rudra who found himself lying on the ground shivering almost submerged in snow. Soon he realise he was in Himalayan mountain range. As he walk every walk with the little struggle, ki noticed man who was in a meditative posture and has a hypnotic effect on the mind of Rudra. Rudra coldest his hand to the morning and had a very deep conversation with him. The Monk said Rudra he has been late to come this place and he had been waiting for him since a long time.Guruvarya who was leading their journey plucked some herb and recited some sanskrit hymn,it release some vapour and he instructed Rudra to inhale it, this satiated his hunger.While Rudra was sitting in a cave he recalled his past live and felt that he was familiar with all these person who he recently met. And the yogi helped him to recollect some more past experience.Next they begin the arduous journey to the waterfall, for which they have to cross a forest.In his past live his name was Poorna which was his true identity. Poorna had many like of adventure and challenges from meditating to surrounded by blood sucking creature.Poorna reached Skandayan cave and met his guru who is called Nath guru, he told him that he was chosen one and had a great purpose to be fulfilled.Staying in Skandayan cave he had offered many rituals and had learnt many technique to serve a great mission ahead.
I have to tell this book had really enhance my spiritual insight visually. Narration and vocabulary is done with sheer simplicity to offer reader to ponder upon the theme.
I really loved the balance of plot that besets with journey of peril.

The monk said him about his rebirth and the purpose of his llife. Rudra learnt meditation and sipirituality. His guru made him learn various chants and mantras. How to become invisible, how to do japamala and stuffs. I loved the adventures which is related with it. The monk also Rudra about forests and the animals living there. The culture taught to Rudra made it more interesting. The characterisation is well developed. The title is apt and the cover is eye catching. The plot is interesting and engaging. The narration is good.

‘Adventures of Poorna’ by Mayur Kalbag is a book that revolves around Rudra. We follow the journey of Rudra’s self recognition which is filled with many difficulties and obstacles. Rudra starts his journey to the waterfall with Guruvarya where he gets to learn about his true self. After knowing who he really is he gets to know about his previous life and what he was in his previous life. As the journey continues he visits many places has even encountered many strange animals and gets to learn about some herbs too. This journey towards self realization is not easy and is filled with many mysteries but will Rudra be able to complete this journey? Will Rudra get to know the purpose of his reincarnation? What are these mysteries that will be revealed during this journey?
My Thoughts:
The plot is well written and unique. I must say that I was hooked to the book right from the first page. The readers will be on edge during this adventurous journey of self realization and the eagerness to unravel how I really am journey.
The characters are well developed. I loved Rudra’s character a lot and how he is very determined to unravel the purpose of his reincarnation. I also feel that the characters will stay with the readers for a long time they are very.
Language is simple and lucid and the narration is done excellently. I also liked the fact that there are illustrations given in the book which is great.
The book cover is very interesting and will surely build curiosity amongst the readers. The title is also apt to the plot.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and would surely recommend this to all. Especially to all those who love to read fantasy, adventurous journeys.

Adventures of Poorna
This book is filled with knowledge about so many things, that it will make you think a lot. A lot of mythological concepts and words are also used in it .while it is a beautiful journey of finding oneself, one's a true identity that Poorna had since his past lives, this is also a beautiful journey of becoming self-sufficient over the time, learning things that will help in future and doing kriya's to make oneself strong.The main path is the journey towards the Nath guru, which is filled with all the struggles, new adventures and a lot of learnings and teachings. Although it is a mythological thriller and I absolutely enjoyed reading it till the very end, there are somethings that I also learned from this book.The first being often we do not wake enough from the beginning, but if someone is trying to enlighten us we must take it on a positive note and so good .no matter how much knowledge we have received there is always something left to learn, the process of teaching and learning never stops, therefore always be eager to learn new things, never give up in between and even if the path is difficult the fruit, the destination the end result will be amazing . Although this line is from the book itself I feel it's true that we should never get egoistic, and devoting ourself to our teacher is letting go of the ego and not letting ego get to our head.
We are all here in nature and have to live according, poorna's journey taught me so many things, that it made me think that I want the same eagerness and readiness as him to learn new things, I often leave things in between but I must not and I am taking this from the book, no matter how painful the process is, when we get the result the pain will flow away.

Who is he ? Is it a result of reincarnation ? Why are they here ? What are they trying to make him remember ? What awaits for him ? Is it all a dream or a parallel universe ? It is an adventure filled roller coaster ride with fantasy world that has ponds filled with wonderful things . Read it to know what the ending reveals and what each step were created for . Author has poured his imaginative on each page ! You can feel like you are almost walking with the group and being a member witnessing all the magical things which unfold the secret one step at a time. A good read for fantasy and adventure lovers who also enjoy sprinkles of mystery and addition of the fight of special powers and good v/s evil. Adventures of Poorna is a mythical Voyage of a young self driven and adventurous protagonist, Poorna.
The book is a mix of spirituality, fiction, magic, tantric world, suspense and adventure which is able to hook-up the readers from the very beginning.
The author's imagination is amazing in the way he has developed creatures which are beyond my thinking in a descriptive way which took my mind to a completely unique world of mystery.

The author has exceptionally developed the characters in the book. I personally loved the character of Rudra. Rudra is a determined person, who is on his own way to unveil the reasons of his reincarnation.The characters are sure to stay in my mind for a long time.
While reading the journey of Rudra's self recognition and self realisation which is filled with many mysteries where he encounters many strange events. I felt like watching the sequel of 'Marvel's Doctor Strange' . The pictures in between the paragraphs makes it easy to visualise the settings of the story.

Adventures of Poorna by Mayur Kalbag as mentioned is an interstellar mythical journey.
The protagonist Rudra Kalbanc had come to Himalayas with some of his friends to explore the Kailas mountain and Lake Mansarovar.
Much to his shock he finds himself covered in snow with no-one around and no memory whatsoever about how he even got there. After much struggle he gets himself out and follows a flicker of diya/ light in a cave. There he finds a sadhu/monk in a lotus posture meditating who reveals to him that he and seven other monks have been waiting for him for more than eighty seven years.
Thus begins the exploration of Rudra who was Poorna in his earlier lives which is revealed to him through a kechariya kriya/ritual.
This book is packed with a variety of rituals, some underwater and in caves. A whole new range of herbs and plants that emit vapors, planktons, yeduraunga leaf with the lavaavu thorn that pricks the person if not asked first for permission. There are some deadly creatures too like nar-narkhomba, ozroombhika, aswalaas, abhraya the stinging grasshopper.
As you explore the book there's more and more gripping adventures that keeps you hooked throughout, some even outer space adventure. It was a new genre for me, 572 pages is quite lengthy and it may feel dragged at times but overall a great read. Each chapter is accompanied with ancient art style pictures. At the end you feel spiritually woke,a never experienced before mythical adventure indeed.

He then went with adventures along with seven disciplines and then he get to know about his past there. His name was Poorna and all 7 monks were his friends from his past life and his birth is reincarnation of his past life and there is some purpose behind his rebirth.

Adventures of Poorna is the debut novel of Mayur Kalbag. And I have never read a book with such a compelling and impressive story that never seems to stop.
Starting from the start, the book is written in a lucid language that makes the adventure easy to imagine and easy to feel the magic. Yes, the story is magical and the way the author Mayur Kalbag has written this book, you will feel magical in each and every chapter. There are 83 chapters and each chapter is unique and more impressive than others. The story is written in a smooth flow, and even though the book is a bit long, at any point of time I didn't felt like it was dragged.
The highlight of the book apart from the intriguing storyline is the extraordinary and exceptional writing skills of the author Mayur Kalbag. The detailed description of other planets and almost everything makes this unique and attractive. The adventure of being Poorna, to beliefs in Alien, this book has a perfect balance of god and aliens, just a wonderful read. A truly astonishing book with beyond appraisal work.
Overall I loved reading this book and would recommend others to ready as well. This book is truly a great work by author. This thing which make this book a must read is it is having everything and touched various aspects like it have mythical journey, great work of fiction, little mystery, adventurous, and obviously a great story line. Talking about the story mentioned in the book, it is of Rudra who was living in the Mumbai but after a nap he finds himself somewhere in the snow, and he come to know that he is in the himalayas. He find a monk there and that monk already knew that someday Rudra will come here. Soon he come to know that in his previous life he was a monk there. Here the journey is looking interesting to us but he also have to face various hardship during this journey. After coming here he learnt various things like Ghoorghoor-Aghori meditation and then a powerful ritual for becoming invisible. And, after this he met with his real Guru and he come to know there is some purpose and that's why he is here on this planet, what was that? What's the purpose of him to learn so many things and the technique of becoming invisible? The detailed description of other planets and almost everything makes this book a masterpiece in itself. During his journey he explores lakes, sages, mountains, and creatures. This book is really amazing to read and I loved it so much due to its attractive cover, apt title, great work of fiction and amazing story line.
