Snow White and the Savage

But that’s exactly what happens when Cary laid eyes on Benny. How does Leonidas take the news, knowing she had his heart since they were kids?

What An Exciting Read
This book kept me wanting more from start to finish. Cary overcame many hardships, but never lost her will to survive and thrive to the best of her ability. What a beautifully written riches, to rags, to riches love story. I read this in two days, and prolonged sleep day 2 because I had to see how it ends. Can't wait for book 2. Now on to get other books from this author. Job well done.

A gritty, urban romance that you will love.
The character Cary had been put through hell since a young age. Her tragedies are because of her stepmother, who is determined to ruin her life. Leonidas has been there for Cary ever since her life had been turned upside down. Cary has been doing whatever it takes to survive and lost touch with Leonidas. They end up connecting again when Cary is older. The book has plenty of twists and turns and kept me interested. Cary struggles to become the queen of the city while her feeling for Leonidas and Benny heat up. The gritty urban setting is believable, and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Ok I see ya!!!
So I usually don't read the reviews before reading a story but I did with this one and they all said it was a really good book plus I saw it in a reading group. I must say this first part was pretty fast paced but it wasn't much that confused me. It did kinda seem she had money out the blue but it was pretty much left to her by her father. The secrets around this couple is definitely devastating and they will really need each other. Honestly the people feeling the wrath definitely deserves it. My biggest question is why is Lenore going thru all thos trouble if she was already living her best life, hopefully it will be answered in part 2. I liked that Cary made King semi work for it. She has bossed up her life but the one person that thinks she is weak she needs to let her see that she is her daddies daughter!!!

Ok!!! I wasn’t expected the plot twists with this book. Very good job and can’t wait for pt 2. Cary was the savage out of the whole crew. I loved her.

From the beginning I felt Cary had the weight of the world on her shoulders. Cary is resilient she showed that she was a savage even at such a young age. She was always a fighter. I was excited when she just let Leonidas love all on her. I think Lenore had it all planned out how she was going to kill Ahseir and get away with it!! Cary went thru a lot but she came out on top again and again. Lenore is truly the epitome of what an evil stepmother is but she’s going to get exactly what she deserves in the end and I can’t wait for that to happen!! Patiently waiting for Part 2, 3 or more (hint, hint)

Wonderful storyline full of love and drama. Character development well written and relatable. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read. Looking forward to reading part 2 and more from this author.

I loved this story and can’t wait for the next part! I’m so glad that Cary found her way and got her King! I can’t wait to find out what Lenore’s motive is for so this! She linked to everybody. I want to know what’s in that bank vault too! Great book!!! Come on part 2!

Incredible
This story was crazy. The twist and turns was bananas. I will say I was right about Tony! If this is any indication part 2 is going to be litt. I so can't wait. I couldn't get enough. You find yourself rooting for Cary and King

Cary is the epitome of a strong woman. I fell in love with her. Fatima Munroe knows how to bring the reader in and make us feel like we are witnessing the story unfold. I was not expecting that ending and can't wait for part 2.

Well Now...
So I was recommended this book through a FB group I am in. I saw a few excerpts and was intrigued.
Fast forward 12 hours later and I’m mind blown. This was an easy read with an epic ending mind you- it’s a cliff hanger but there is a second book. There is suspense, love, lust and everything in between. The question you will be asking by the end is - Who Is the true SAVAGE?!
So I was recommended this book through a FB group I am in. I saw a few excerpts and was intrigued.

I love how Leonidas comes off, but I couldn’t wait for Cary to put baby boo in his place!!! He need a reality check!!! I hate that Cary had to go through so much, but it made her who she is!!!

Cary Muhammad heard her dad get killed at 9yrs old and her step-mother Lenora was the Queen snake behind everything!! As Cary vows she will avenge her fathers death she will live a hard life going from foster home to foster home, by the time she is 16 she gets on her own.. it’s rough but she manages and she finds a job and a few more sacrifices happen. King aka Leonardes grew up with Cary and their dads were best friends (brothers). When Jules summons King to go to Meridian, Mississippi and find Cary , it will not take long but he does. The crew coaxes and Aunt Judy coax Cary back and KIng is happy he found his long lost now grown-up Queen! Cary’s childhood memories will slowly come back. The search for Lenore is on and there will be a whole lot of baggage she will bring to the table. The twist’s keep coming and their will be a few hard pills to swallow. Jules gets hurt, Aunt Judy finds out her husband is not who he says but Lenore is captured everything seems to fall in place but does it??? Part 2!!!

No child should've witnessed what Cary witnessed as a child. The moment she lost her father when she was nine. Her life went downhill. When she was reunited with Leonidas and his family. Cary thought her life was coming back together but she soon realized that some of those who are closest to her was behind the tragedies she went through. Lenore is a trifling, manipulative, and scandalous witch. She's the worst stepmother a child could have. Leonidas love for Cary got him protecting her from anyone including his own father. I believe they have a snake amongst them.

The story was an interesting take on the classic Snow White tale. Our urban Snow White definitely had a wicked stepmother and 7 loyal followers at her service. But our Snow White aka Cary was not so innocent or sheltered. Munroe did a good job of modernizing the tale and giving the reader a detailed backstory on our co-protagonists. I think the story moved well and was moderately paced. The characters were interesting as was the story itself.
However, I did have a few issues with the story that related to chemistry, consistency, and clarity. (full review only blog)

Oh my lord, this woman is not right in her head. To be so evil and mean she has to be stopped. It's like she has too many lives.
I wasn't supposed to see who was involved in Cary beginning of her end.
To see King get what he finally wanted. Everything is coming out. I can't wait until King gets all of these folk involved. Tony thinks he has it all thought out. Lenore needs to have everything done to her as she has done to Cary. And others. 🌞

This was so good!
Cary went through some stuff that ain’t in your fairytale. Stepmother is on a whole other level I mean there’s levels to her scheming. Perfect villain. The crew are rude or die tho. There are others that played a role in the hell Cary has gone through. King just wanna lay up and love on her but she can’t get past her trauma and past dealings with men. King is a trip to tho, but he’s loyal. They both match each others savage.

Aww dang this book
Was hot like fire. I got all into it and lordy be, a great way to end a book. I couldn't even read the sample of part 2. It would just make me mad to have to wait. I highly recommend this book to everyone who reads.
