This is the third book in this amazing series and is Gunner and Dani’s story. Gunner is a quarterback who is career focused with no time for relationships, and Dani is the new trainer for the professional football team. There is an instant attraction between these two, and when his meddling mother wants to set him up with a date for a family wedding, he asks Dani to accompany him as his fake girlfriend. This is a well written friends / lovers’ story which is sweet, fun, and with family, romance, emotions, undeniable chemistry, and love, which all leads to an addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Dani is the PT in the gym who keeps to herself but steals glances of Gunner whenever he’s not looking.
Gunner is dedicated to his Game and doesn’t look sideways at girls but has always had a secret spot for Dani so when his mother has plans to try and match make again at an upcoming wedding Gunner decides to bring Dani as his pretend girlfriend and that’s when the Fireworks start.
This was an insta-Love read which went from hot to scorching fast! I loved their playful banter and enjoyed the read.

The Quarterback did the sacking this time around
Well Alexia Chase has done it once again with The Game. This is another winner on so many levels. It is well written, has a fantastic and captivating story-line and characters that you just fall in love with. Plus add in the hot, steamy, sensual and downright dirty at times chemistry between Gunner and Dani and it is off the charts for setting your Kindle and fire and making you reach for that fan to cool yourself down.
I loved this book and would recommend it to other readers!!!

One of the BEST books I've read in a long time!
This is the first time I have read any Alexia Chase novels and I could not have picked a better one to start with! It is the story of Gunner, the star quarter back for a pro football team and Dani, the new personal trainer for Gunner's team. Gunner is immediately attracted to Dani, but mistakenly believes she is interested in women only. Each time he is in her company, Gunner's attraction grows equally with his frustration that he cannot have her. Several of his teammates notice Gunner's response to the new trainer and one creates an event to bring them together. Gunner and Dani end up talking to one another during the event and Gunner learns the truth about Dani's interest in men, but believes she is not interested in him personally. Gunner asks Dani to accompany him to a relatives' wedding and it is here they discover and explore their mutual attraction. If I tell any more of the plot I will give it away. Suffice it to say that the interactions between Gunner and Dani are authentic, spicy, hot, and explosive. Sit in an air conditioned room when you read this great story, otherwise, you will burn up!! Ms. Chase fills this novel with wonderful characters who cause continuous laughter and enjoyment throughout the read.
I am disappointed it had to end because it was a perfect escape, hot, sweet and fast-paced! I cannot wait to read her other novels!

I really love Alexia Chase books and this one doesn't disappoint. It has everything I love about reading steamy romances. Gunner is the cocky, alpha male but is also a protective, caring. sweet and lovable person. He sees Dani and is instantly attracted. Dani on the other hand doesn't have the same confidence in herself and thinks she is not worthy of someone like Gunner. She's just a lowly trainer starting out and was told before not feminine enough. These lovely people are in the friend zone until one faithful weekend that changes everything. Gunner shows and tells Dani how beautiful she is and Dani gets her confidence around him. I love how they talk dirty to each other...its fun and sexy. There was some issues that came up that put a strain on their budding relationship but after some reflection and confrontations the lovely couple were able to an understanding...their love is real and strong. Alexia has a way of making her characters real with a lot of emotion and I have become a big fan of her books. I highly recommend this book and her others. I hope there be books pertaining the other characters featured in this book.

Alexia Chase really has outdone herself with this story. The characters really draw you in and as their story evolves and you grow to love them and celebrate their happily ever after.
Dani has now graduated from college as a personal trainer for the football team. She has had nothing but bad luck in her personal relationship with her ex boyfriend and is concentrating on her career as one of the trainers for the team. Dani has an attraction to Gunner the Quarterback on the team, but is hiding her attraction.
Gunner Sinclair is the star quarterback for the team and has put himself on a no sex during the season kick. He knows he is going to be taking the team to the finals and they are going to win this year. He is equally attracted to Dani but is fighting his attraction.
Things evolve and they end up going on a “pretend” date which ends with them ending up in bed for the weekend. Then things happen and misunderstandings on both sides keep them separated until Dani decides that she is better leaving the team. But Gunner comes just before she fills out the paperwork and they have their talk and they have a happily ever after.

Absolutely fantastic! It is superbly written, hilarious, fast pace, emotionally deep, witty, steamy, and is guaranteed to keep you turning the pages from all the excitement and drama. The characters are amazing and loveable; the chemistry between them is off the charts. The secondary characters also contributed positively to the riveting story line making it an even more enjoyable and fun read. Definitely recommended!

Good, fairly simple romance that begins with misunderstandings: Dani becomes a coach for an American football team and she meets Gunner, one of the players. They are quickly secretly attracted to each other, but they have several misunderstandings that get in the way: she thinks she does not deserve him, that she will never attract his attention and that he doesn't want a relationship during the seasons, and he believes she is a lesbian. Then their situation changes when he asks for her help.
The story is cute, simple, tender, with sweet characters who, once they let go, create steamy situations.

Alexia Chase has done it again. The Games is 5 starts and another 5 stars. This story is grabs me from the beginning and kept me captivate with each turn of the page.
As with all of Mrs. Chase's characters, you will fall in love with Dani and Gunner. Both are strong, determined and career driven, who strive to be the best at what they do. Dani and Gunner's chemistry is explosive and their passion is hotter than a Texas summer.
Once you pick up the book, you will not be able to put it down. I look forward to next book by this author.

This is Gunner and Dani's story. Gunner is the quarterback with only one goal, his career. Dani is the new trainer for the football team and her only goal, no dating the players. Fate has something else in mind for these two, a fake wedding date, their attraction is through the roof and the professional lines are going to get blurry. Another great story from this author, I love reading her stories. A well written, steamy story worth a twist or two to make the journey to a HEA well worth the read. Enjoy!

Beautiful love story.
Awh this is such a sweet love story that almost didn't happen. I loved Dani & Gunner they were perfect for each other, I got a bit upset when I thought they might end up apart luckily they both came to their senses & a happy ever after. His sister Veronica & Chloe's best friend Ashley had me in stitches, her mum & dad were hilarious aswell especially when they were talking about their sex life in front of Dani & Gunner.
I smiled through out most of this book.

A must read, this book is well written with characters, humor, friendships, romance and trust. The characters and the camaraderie between friends and siblings, I mean no one can embarrass a person more than the ones you love, which is so well portrayed in this book. Love the storyline the mistaken interpretation and assumptions, it all plays well together when reading these characters play The Game of forever.

It was fun ‘watching” Dani and Gunner. They are obviously attracted to the other but they are oblivious to the fact and I was left wondering if they will realized the truth. Their friends and family are completely crazy and equally supportive, and all agree that they are perfect for each other. And soon Dani and Gunner are a part if this craziness and are happy. I loved it.

You can always count on Alexia Chase to give you a story with all the feels. This one doesn't disappoint. It's several tropes in one and there's no way you can stop reading once you start. It's a full length novel that keeps your motor running but also makes you laugh, blush, and cry all at once. I couldn't put this down and lost track of time.

Dani and Gunner meet, when she starts working for a team. Inner monologues of Dani, when they meet are hilarious. Both of them were wonderful characters. Especially Dani, with her first job after finishing school. She is familiar with his world, because she's a daughter of legend. Amazing story. I really liked Gunner and Dani and liked that they meet because she is the new physical therapist on his football team. There were definite misunderstandings between them. I liked their story because I loved the characters and wanted them to have their happy ending together.

The game (Sinfully tempting 4)
This is the fourth book in this amazing series by this author and these books just keep getting better and better the more I read. This story follows the characters Gunner and Dani, these two characters have a slow burn romance that just leaps off the pages as you read. This is a fast paced, sweet and hot and steamy read from this author. Even though these are short read there are definitely lots packed into the pages. This has to be my favorite book in this series so far but it's so hard to choose as they are all amazing.

Couldn't put the book down
Dani is the new personal trainer for a professional football team. She was raised around football. She dated a football player in college. Been there, done that, not going back at least that's what she tells herself. Gunner is a quarterback and has no time for distractions but Dani is distracting for him. Believing that they could be just friends they agree to a fake date. Sparks fly and more quickly develops. Could they really be more? The story line is good. Dani is insecure in her beauty but is a great character. Gunner's character is fabulous too. The supporting cast is a crack up and I can't wait to read their stories.

Really fast read that gets you ready for the next book in the series. Dani is the newest trainer who can't show weakness. Her best friend Ashley is the only team dietitian. Loved it!!
I absolutely LOVED Dani and Gunners story. I was cracking up at Gunner in the beginning. The thoughts running through his head were hilarious. The wedding convo was epic!!! Can’t wait for Ashley’s story!!

Dani and Gunner were on fire in The Game of LOVEEEEEEE. Very thorough in the action of love making. So glad they stayed together but I wish it would have said it they got pregnant the first few times they had sex. But very good read now into next book
