One teasing touch sets her body aflame...

Nell Santos would love a happily ever after, but the timing is all wrong. Her son, Mikey, is the most important thing in her life, and she can’t let anything get in the way of that. A holiday to the first Intergalactic Olympics is the perfect opportunity for them to strengthen bonds with their new Intergalactic family. And when all the happy couples have her feeling a bit down, a night with a smoking hot Intergalactic athlete might be just the thing to distract her. Garrant is dangerous and sexy and totally not her type. She can play his game without getting hurt, right?

Garrant is coming to the end of his athletic career. Age and a shoulder injury have caught up with him, forcing him out of the sport he loves. Without it, he has nothing. No Match, no path, no future. Beautiful Nell Santos could be the perfect antidote to his woes. Garrant is sure they can have a few wild nights without getting emotionally involved – they aren’t Matched, after all. So when Nell’s ex turns up at the games, why does Garrant feel like throwing a possessive arm round her and claiming her for his own?

A steamy science fiction romance featuring a single mother afraid to get her heart broken all over again and the tattooed alien athlete who might just convince her that it's worth taking a risk for love....

Let the Games Begin!!

Garrant has been an intergalactic athlete all of his life. He is now 30 and at the end of his career. He injured his shoulder and is hoping it will hold up for the Olympic Games. He wants to end his career with a gold medal. He agrees to try an experimental treatment hoping to make it through the games, even though he knows it may cause permanent damage to his shoulder. He is struggling with what his future will hold not being able to play Hoverball. He figured by now he would have been Matched and he could retire and raise a family.

Nell and Mikey are accompanying her sister Asha and her Match Prince Cael. It was their idea to have the Olympic Games as a way to further the relationship between humans and other aliens. Cael’s sister and her Match and daughter Sassi are also joining them there. Nell is feeling like the odd man out because everyone else there is with their Match. She is thinking that she deserves a little fun while she is there, because once she goes home she will never see that person again. Garrant is a friend of Cael’s sister and she invites him to join them for the opening ceremonies. He sits next to Nell and they are immediately attracted to each other. He figures she might be a nice distraction during the games and he would never have to see her again once the games were over.

As usual, things don’t work out quite the way they were both planning. When Nell’s ex shows up at the games she is shocked and Garrant immediately feels very protective of her. He escorts her back to her room incase her ex is following her and meets Mikey. He immediately is drawn to him and they make plans to meet so Garrant can show Mikey how to play Hyperdisk. The more time he spends with them, the more drawn to them he is. He is confused because he knows she is not his Match, assuming she had already taken the test. He doesn’t know that most humans have not been tested, not really trusting the program yet. Can these two make it through the mine field of their emotions while trying to deflect her ex?

This is book three of the Intergalatic Soulmates Series. They just keep getting better!

Garrent and Nell is the third book in Annabelle Rex's new series. I would recommend reading them in order because you will see many old friends in this book but the world building, the development of characters and storylines happen gradually and spam all the books.. Each book seems to be better than the last. Nell is Asha's sister and she was the female lead in the last book. She is a single mom, who loves her little boy more than life itself and her sister is her best friend. She's also worked incredibly hard disks her baby was born to become a nurse. She travels to the intergalactic space station for an Olympic style games with her son and her new edge see family. Garrent is an athlete he's a friend of Nell' s new extended family. He's the best at what he does but his body is telling him it's time to stop and pursue something more than sports. When Nell and Garrent meet its instant co section that both try to fight because they are worried that this type of attraction will hurt if they don't end up matched. But the heart wants what the heart wants and their heart are a reading for Each other💖 . They story has passionate moments but is really a story of realizing who you are and what real love can be like. Their is some misunderstandings and the last comes to haunt Nell, but in the end love and the heart triumph 💖💖 I'll definitely read the next in the series.

💖🧡💚 EXCELLENT !

Nell and her son Mikey, 5, are on board the Olympia Space Station, which will host the future Intergalactic Olympics Games.

Invited by her sister Asha, companion of prince Cael, Nell admires the surroundings.

Nell is happy to see her little sister Asha thanks to whom her life has totally changed since her meeting with the Prince...

-------------

An EXCELLENT SEQUEL of the adventures of our heroines with their respective "Match".

In this volume 3, it's Nell's turn to experience New adventures.

Feeling very alone and depressed among all these couples swimming in happiness, she tells herself that after all, she could afford a little adventure, just for one evening...
But the "little adventure", Garrant, holds many surprises for her...

An excellent volume 3, captivating, tender, with two adorable new characters : Nell and Garrant.
It's pleasant to read, funny, tender : a perfect reading!

As in all the other volumes of this séries, the beginning is very slow, the author sparing the suspense for our greatest pleasure.

A favorite 💖 for this séries to discover!

This is a great series and definitely worth spending time on!

I loved this book! I actually love this series but this book really got into my heart as a single parent. Alot of her feelings and fears is something we all have to deal with but when her ex shows up and she at first couldn't believe he was there. I think that's any one of us could feel. An then her anger when he didn't care that he had lost their son. I can say that if it was me, he wouldn't have been able to walk off before helping them find him because he wouldn't have been able to walk! It's not as action paced as the other two books but this book still as heartfelt as them. This series is the first that I've read by the author but they are definitely worth spending time on. It could become one of my favorite, if still got more of the series to go but it's already made it into my library lol.

What a unique story!!!

I really have looked forward to the latest in this series and I wasn't disappointed. This one like the others had several unique ideas. An intergalactic Olympics was such a clever and novel concept. And this author came up with a totally new game. I couldn't have ever thought of something like this And it took me a little while to understand but then it was so interesting. Our H is such a flirt and who doesn't likes that? Plus our sweet Nell needed someone complimenting her and making her feel sexy. I have questions and I'm sure they will be answered in the next one and I still look forward to Tarrkens story. Take time to enjoy this and the others in this series. The romance is super sweet.

4.5 Stars

This is a good short love story in the universe that Annabelle created that is full of wonder and hope. The main thing I love about these stories is that so far they all are centered around the same family and characters so you can keep up to date about our other favorite couples.

As I've said about the other 2 books prior to this, I feel like it is too short. However, with the story lines intertwining I can deal a little with the shortness, but I still long for more.

I will say this though, the books keep getting better the more she writes.

Good

Single mother Nell is taking her son to the newly organized Intergalactic Olympic Games.
There she meets Garrant, hyperdisk athlete and a man who is facing his final game, and trying to find meaning in his life.
A flirtation Leads to romance, but does it lead to forever?

Another enjoyable romance in this sci-fi romance series, this time on a spaceship out in the solar system.
A fun escape for those who enjoy their romance with a little sci-fi thrown in!

An unexpected turn

This is about a woman who has chosen not to have her DNA matched to an alien. She has a child and has made her child her primary concern. She meets an alien who she is immediately attracted to and decides to pursue a fling. However , she is not made for a one night stand and then her and her son's life takes a unexpected turn. Good read.

Tarrant #3

Oh how I really liked this story. To have a youngster included was the best idea. All the stories so far have been very good, but the addition of the child and his mother, made these hunky Aliens even more loveable. That they can relate not only to grownup humans but to children makes them more adorable.

The surprise in this book was the slow build up of their relationship, with the whole Match and mate thing it’s sort of expected to be an instant relationship, with a lot of getting to fit together problems, but this one was a tad different since neither of them were matched and Garret relied to heavily on that. I loved watching Nell interact with him and love how feisty she is.

Captivating story!

Romance is challenging enough but add in a child and the challenges multiply. This is an alien story with realistic situations that apply in any storyline. Good series and great writing.

I enjoyed seeing how in the continuation of the series the author showed different angles of how people through the cosmos treated the match program. It was so easy to continue to fall in love with the characters and see how their stories continued. Another great add to the series.

Decent story-needed an editor

I love my KU subscription but just wish that the authors took a little more time getting it edited. It kept throwing me out of the story. It was also very tame in the romance department. I guess I like a little more sexy.

Why Amazon insist on 20 words for a review via kindle, I don't know. Especially when I just want to say that I really enjoyed this book.

*I'm using this second listing of Garrant as a stand-in place holder for the email subscriber freebie, Arden, book #2.5 in the Intergalactic Soulmates series*

Actual rating: 4.5
I adored this novella. So so so much. Quite possibly my favourite so far. I just wish it was longer. I want more of Arden & Allendi (tho, now that I know them I do love their cameo in Cael so much more). I can't wait for the next book in the series & I'll be starting it right away!

Merged review:

4 stars!

I adored this story, though in some places I found it to move both too slowly and be too short. Maybe that's just me being greedy because I could read about this world and characters for weeks, but I'd have loved it even more if it was twice the length.

Fabulous 3rd book in the series which has gotten progressively better since Book #1. There are several editing errors but not anything that takes away from the story. My only question is - Who won the final game? 😉 I highly recommend beginning with Book #1 and I definitely look forward to additional stories in this serie.
