Follow the next chapter of Apokalypsis as the infection spreads, and hundreds of millions of people around the world are dying from the pandemic. He also begins to question if they’ll all starve before the pandemic ends and worries that others in the group are weighing down the efforts of a few. Wren’s frustration at Jamie not showing up to the farm mounts as the days pass without him. Alex forbidding her to go after him puts Elijah in the position of mediator as he tries to keep Wren from leaving while also establishing their new survival plans on their uncle’s farm. Avery, still mourning her lost family members, futilely attempts to fill the shoes of her mother as the children lean on her for emotional support. Tristan is just trying to keep them all safe and alive and also wonders if he is the best person for the job. They need a father figure, but he’s never even been someone’s friend.Find out what happens next in Apokalypsis Book Four.
I live on a small farm in Ohio where I tend a shabby garden, take care of my crazy horses and chickens and enjoy writing. Check out my website: www.katemorrisauthor.com for recipes from the book, my blog, articles and information about books two and three. Book Two out now.
I am the author of the new trilogy, The McClane Apocalypse. Books one and two are out now. Check them out on Amazon, Barnes & Noble or iBooks.
The McClane Apocalypse, Book One of the series. Follow the McClane family as they struggle to survive on their TN farm. Romantic suspense filled with hot Army Rangers and a broken and beautifully flawed female protagonist. Don't read chapter two if you need to be anywhere any time soon!
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LG8H7KQ The exciting second installment of The McClane Apocalypse is out now!! Fraught with human emotion, complex relationships, and the continued fight for survival, book two takes the reader on a thrill ride that doesn’t let up- not even after the last page has been turned.
So sad I won’t wake up with them in my life tomorrow!
I don’t usually read a series that isn’t complete bc the waiting can be full of misery and anxiety waiting for the next one. That for me is the only downside for this series thus far! You know a author is great when you are so sad that the characters won’t be in your daily life when u finish the story and when u continue to think about them long after you are done reading! Then add in the suspense and roller coaster ride of emotions from the actual journey of the story and u definitely have a best seller! I would feel my heart racing and my hands grippingly phone as I read and I prayed for my favorite characters which are Tristan and Avery of course lol! If you like romance that has a lot of suspense and thrill especially in a post apocalyptic world then please get this series you won’t be disappointed! Caution very addicting and may cause depression when it’s over but the ride is worth it!!!!! Thank you to Late Morris for giving me something to look forward to and for someone who reads several books a week that is no easy feat ❤️
Many grammatical errors as well as wrong names for characters for the particular group at issue for the circumstances in the storeyline. I am beginning to believe these stories are churned out by computer programs since there are so many similar stories with just different names. Seems like no editor. Same issues seen with other books by this author. Very little forward progress in the storyline and characters are cookie cutter. Characters behavior not believable, women weak, man strong. Would recommend for middle school level genre due to lack of sophistication of characters and silly repetitve reckless behavior of characters. Many inconsistencies and mistakes throughout the four book series. Just kept hoping the first three books were setting the stage for fourth to be more interesting. If I were grading this as a student effort I would give it a C. Definitely not honors English or college educated writer.Get an editor. Take some writing classes.
Love Kate's book but this one was not a page Turner. Found myself skipping sections. Glad when story lines began to come together. Was getting hard to keep people straight. I know she tied into what's happening in our world today and hardwired. But the reporting part was just boring because we have that everyday. Her strength is the interact of actors. Sometimes she has trouble with relationships. Still one of the best apocalypse writers out there.
Another great read as Kate continues to build the characters and the world they now live in. With one or two exceptions all the characters still can't believe what is happening and keeping mentioing "when things get back to normal" or "when all this is over".
The 3 groups finally meet at the end and quickly start to work together (thrown in at the deep end really). Plenty of up and downs in this book and non stop action, and it ends on a cliffhanger.
Kept me reading most of the night, and ended with a cliffhanger designed to keep me awake several more nights. Morris is a master at writing books that grab your attention, and get you so involved with the story, that you never want them to end. This is a winner!
I think the author attempted to end on a cliffhanger, but ultimately it felt like she stopped in the middle of a chapter and said "ok I'll finish this in the next one." Way too abrupt with no real ending. I seriously thought my kindle was prematurely sending me to this page. Not her smoothest transition at all.
Loved these books, but thought book number four was the end. Was a little disappointed that another book was on the way. Looking forward to it, but hope there will not be 10 books. Characters were great and I was on the edge of my seat reading them. Looking forward to number 5, but hope that will bring some conclusion.
I have read every book you have written that are public. Is is odd that these books appear as we are in a pandemic in America. These new friends have blazed a path for my mental preparedness. Thanks for the stories, all the research, and to all of your family members that have contributed. Looking forward to more!
I really have enjoyed the first 4 books in this series. There are a few typos that made me. Little nuts like everytime she wants to say main door it's typed man" door. The charters are full and interesting. I would like it Avery was so naive and sappy! I mean it's an apocalypse lady the cops don't care if you raid the library!
I loved this book! It was great to see the characters from the previous books starting to come together. So many edge of your seat moments ( I don’t have any fingernails left) I can’t wait until the next book in the series, when is it coming out??

I had a hard time getting into this book, but once I did I loved it. At 33% I almost returned it, however after a pep talk I decided to finish it. It was shortly after that everything changed.
I really like the story and I can appreciate a good cliffhanger. This book just stoppd abruptly. I went back several times to make sure my upload was complete.
An Exciting and exhilarating apocalyptic joy ride! You fall in love with these characters and want them to kick ass every where they go! Another winning series by Kate! #mustread
I really enjoyed the first three books and was really looking forward to the final tie-in/wrap-up of the fourth. That was a disappointment. The tie-in happened at the 11th hour, and the wrap up never happened. And there is no mention of a fifth book!
The action is not and the fight intense I love her writing wish they were free but a bargain no matter they are partial books but so long they print out longer and ever paragraph is exciting!
