moments and observations of astounding clarity, like descriptions of the fleeting tokyo life, how two people in love/in synch begin to correctly guess and predict each other's thoughts and emotional states, and such. the story is an interesting very contemporary take. ending baffled me tho, but maybe i have to mull it over for a bit longer, reading this in japanese glosses over some nuances for me since my language ability is not that great. the descriptions of brands&clothes veered into a bad parody of brett easton ellis at times and were irritating.
