Wolfe Brothers #2

Nathan Wolfe

Rate this book
I had the perfect life jetting around the world doing a job I loved and meeting a variety of beautiful women. Women who would do anything for one night with me. I had a gift. The gift of charm and good looks. I could charm the panties off women just by staring into their eyes. I always got what I wanted with no effort. I wasn’t a committed type of man with women. The word didn’t exist in my vocabulary. I had the world at my fingertips, and I was flying high. Until I met a woman who took my breath away. The moment I saw her, I wanted her. Not a problem, right? Wrong. Not only was she off limits because she worked for my brother, Elijah, she wasn’t interested, and she made it very clear. But that didn’t stop me from pursuing her. She was a wounded little bird, and something inside me wanted to fix her. Even if it was for my own selfish reasons. The one thing I didn’t count on was her turning my entire life and world upside down, making me question everything I thought I believed in.

My name is Nathan Wolfe and I am the second Wolfe brother.

I moved back to New York from Chicago after my husband suddenly passed away. We were high school sweethearts, and he was the love of my life. I needed a fresh start for me and my daughter, and we needed to build a life without him. I wasn’t interested in any other man and I didn’t think I ever would be again. Then I met Nathan Wolfe. He was sexy, confident and charming. But he also possessed some qualities I hated in a man. We connected on a level I didn’t think was possible and it paralyzed me with fear. I was stuck in reverse and I didn’t know how to move forward. Could he be the man to help me let go of my past?

My name is Allison Price, and this is my story.

One of those reads where the 'hero' annoyed me to no end and I found myself frowning way too much.

Completely underwhelmed and disappointed.

If you’ve read this author’s books before than you already have read this. Same ol s**t just different day.
Manwhore who wakes up the next morning with a woman in his bed. And is being sued for sexual harassment.

Her daughter was a brat. Who the hell does she think she is talking to an adult like she did to the ho? Not that the ho didn’t deserved it but if she was my daughter I would have whooped her ass into next week. What kind of a parent let her daughter run around their building by herself? A building that was 20 and plus floors. She’s 9 for god’s sake. Was the heroine looking to have a missing child?

Allison and Ruby have had a tough last year, while the death of a loved one is never easy, uprooting your whole life to another city and state is just as hard. So you might have to put up a tough exterior to get by .. especially a little girl !

Nathan is never in one place too long .. with being a pilot he can come and go as he pleases BUT when a new kids in the building catches his eye and his thoughts, because he knows everyone that lives in the 25 floor building .. he knows he is in trouble !!

But what he doesn’t know is that Ruby’s mom is the psycho from the airport ?? What Allison doesn’t know is that Nathan is a Wolfe .. Will this create a problem for her at home , at work, at social engagements ??

The chemistry between Nathan and Allison is off the charts and throw in the mix a little girl that will steal your heart with pictures and Beatles songs .. then you know they were ALL meant to be together !!

But can they ??

Yes he is the hating playboy Sandi wants you to know BUT we ALL know she somehow always does her thing through words and we end up LOVING them all !! Nathan is now among THEM !!

The Wolfe brothers drive me crazy in such a good way!! Nathan, the second Wolfe brother, is a charming lady killer who can instantly melt the panties off any woman...except for Allison Price. Allison is smart, clever and immune to Nathan’s charm. Nathan’s pursuit of Allison is entertaining and their sharp humor and chemistry is spot on.

This is a story of a playboy, a widower and their road to healing and taking a chance on love. Nathan Wolfe is enjoyable, packed with all the feels, steamy with a lovely and heartwarming storyline. And I’m very excited to read Mason’s book!!

The second book in the Wolfe Brothers series continues with the story of Nathan Wolfe and Allison. Sandi, as always, works with words and enchants us with another beautiful novel. As always, dealing with difficult subjects very delicately, like the grief of a loved one. We also find in the example of Nathan and Allison's mother female empowerment, strong and determined women who are unmoved by criticism. All the novels written by Sandi Lynn always bring some reflection and enchant us with their delicacy. Thanks Sandi! I love this one!

These Wolfe brothers were born to be loved. They each have to struggle with their insecurities and in this case, Nathan and Allison had some deep insecurities, but they fall for each other nonetheless as deep. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

What a jerk - can I give it a .5?

Really - this is the type of man women want?? Or just the author? A man whore, who beds any and every woman. He picks fights with a nine year old. Who’s the adult? How come the author refers to “narrowing her eye”. Never eyes. Does she only have one eye? So many cliches- all the women bite their lower lip, which, of course, drive the men into fits of desire. And it’s “men or man”, not “guy or guys”. Save your time and money. No I did not finish this book.

Nathan and Allison and her daughter Ruby...
for this reader was an okay read but was no where near as good as the first book ...
Nathan was portayed as a 31 year old man acting like an overgrown wealthy frat boy. He flirted a lot... he gets sued for sexual harassment and then proceeds to what some call ... flirt ... with a Secretary right before his meeting for a deposition in the case. It's like he has no self control.
The heroine was a single mom to a 9 year old (who is referred to as a "brat" by Nathan in the beginning) sadly her husband had just died a year ago. I will give Nathan this...he never claims to be anything other than what he is, a man who loves to live his life free of responsibility. He openly admits to enjoying the fact that he can do who he wants, when he wants. He never promises Allison anything and when she develops feelings and she tells him so ... he immediately backs off and says they need to end it. She then proceeds to get hurt / mad and angry when she really has no right cause she knew where Nathan stood ... true she was told she needed to move on but wouldn't a person know when they are ready .... She knew what type of man he was and still pursued a "casual fling" relationship with him.

I will say the couple had an "HEA" I did like that the author gave us several snippets of the couple at various points in the future.
This wasn't a terrible story ........ I just couldn't connect with either of the main characters enough for it to be a good read. I did like some parts of the story tho so is why I gave 4 stars.. the author trued to make Nathan a decent guy..
But as with all Books some readers like em and some just don't so we continue on ... but I hope you as a reader give the book a chance ..

📖 ¦ Nathan Wolfe by Sandi Lynn [Wolfe Brothers 02]
🌠 ¦ 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
📑 Tropes ¦ Single Mom - Grieving Lover - RomCom - Enemies to lovers - Neighbors - Billionaire Hero - Secret Relationship

I really enjoyed this story. This is book two of the Wolfe Brother series. Nathan is the middle brother. This book can be read as a standalone but there is a lot of interaction with Elijah and Aspen from book one. Nathan isn’t as obnoxious as his older brother so definitely a lot more enjoyable. He’s cocky and a player that uses women and definitely needs to be taken down a few pegs. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Mason.

Nathan and Allison meet at the airport. Allison’s flying back to Chicago to tie up loose ends before starting her life over again in New York. Nathan is the pilot on her flight, but he keeps that a secret. She finds out he’s a pilot and gets mad because he didn’t say anything. They part ways mad at each other never to see each other again. As fate would have it, Allison lives in the same apartment complex as Nathan. They discover this after Nathan has a run in with Allison’s daughter. He decides to pursue Allison, but he just wants to have sex with her to get her out of his system. He doesn’t do relationships. Allison works for Elijah and his mom and he’s warned his brothers that his employees are off limits. Nathan off course doesn’t listen. Things start to get serious and Nathan gets scared. Allison’s finally opened up his heart and in through Wolfe fashion he runs from it. Can they work things out and find happiness?

There’s a reason they call me Wylde and it’s not just because it’s my last name.

I might be one of the newest players on the Arizona Vengeance team, but I’m no stranger to the celebrity that goes along with being a professional hockey player. Whether it’s a fan seeking an autograph or a puck bunny looking for more, I’ve grown used to the attention. I not only thrive on it; I use it to my advantage. Let’s just say my bed is rarely empty.

When a quirky redhead at the local bookstore stops me dead in my tracks, I decide to pop in and turn on the trusty Wylde magic. As smart and strong-willed as she is beautiful, Clarke Webber isn’t swayed by my witty banter or charming good looks. And when she realizes who I am and the fame that comes along with it, she likes me even less. Thankfully, I’m always up for a challenge. The more I get to know about her, the more I know my playboy days are behind me.

If I’m going to capture Clarke’s heart, it’s time to be a lot less Wylde, and a lot more Aaron.

Loved every single page of Nathan and Allison's story! I immediately fell in lovevp with Ruby, she was absolutely priceless! Their story wasn't an easy one but boy it was a fun one to read. They had lots of chemistry and I loved watching Nathan's relationship with Ruby evolve! Highly recommend..

“Nathan Wolfe” (Wolfe Brothers Series, book 2) by Sandi Lynn

**Spoiler Alert**

Nathan’s life is perfect. He can fly wherever he wants, do whatever he wants and be with any woman he wants. His life could not be more perfect… or so he thought.

Allison and her daughter Ruby move back home. It’s been a year since her heart was ripped out and the pain is still fresh so she needs a fresh start. Her family all live here so why not move back home where she has the loving support of who she loves most.

They say things happen for a reason and having a flight delay proves to be a sign from above that these two were meant to meet.

Working for the Wolfe's may prove to be a problem especially with the rift between her and one specific Wolfe man. Can she do it? She will go on no matter what. Her heart has been broken before and now she will swear off all men. She will not put her daughter through a heartbreak again.

Nathan was told time and time again that love does not last so he cannot allow himself to feel things. He needs to make that clear from the start but when Allison and Ruby wiggles their way into his lonely heart how can he dispute that what he was told so many times was a lie?

This story has all the feels. Great character build up with a duel POV. There is humor, heartbreak, romance, sass and unconditional love.

The second Wolfe brother falls in love! So excited that Sandi Lynn decided to continue on the Wolfe family after falling in love with them collectively after meeting them in the Elijah’s book. Nathan lives the ultimate playboy life as a pilot and never sees him leaving that lifestyle. All of that changes when he meets a woman who doesn’t fall head over heels for him and ignores his advances – and it gets under his skin. After a rough year for Allison, she is relocating back home after the loss of her husband with her daughter Ruby. Unbeknownst to Allison and Nathan, they live in the same apartment building and once that becomes known the game of cat and mouse begin between them as the chemistry flies. Per usual, we see Nathan leave when things start to get real for him, and it leaves Allison devastated. I loved how strong of a character she was and found myself yelling at the book towards Nathan as I read. I loved this storyline and the continuation of these characters and can’t wait for the next installment with Mason!

The Wolfe brothers are hot, albeit hot playas. We met Nathan in book 1, Elijah's story, and know that he literally has a woman in just about every country to which he flies. Nathan is a commercial pilot and enjoys his freedom...in the air and the bedroom. He meets a beautiful woman at the airport, who is traveling on his flight to Chicago, and it does not go well...he dubs her 'psycho chick'. Then he meets a mouthy little girl in his building and, wouldn't you know it...she's 'psycho chick's' daughter! After unexpectedly losing her husband, Allison Price relocates herself and daughter back home to NYC so they could be closer to family. She has a run in with a sexy pilot, who turns out to be living in her building...what are the odds. Things get really interesting when Nathan turns out to be the brother of her new boss! Allison is still mourning her loss, and Nathan is wrapped up in himself...then they start a fling. Feelings are hurt...is there an HEA for this duo? Enjoyed the story and recommend the entire series. Can't wait for Mason's story!

This was a hard book for me to get into.

Nathan, I don’t even know where to begin! He jetted off all over the world. A woman in different states, cities, towns... we only really caught a glimpse of one before he met Allison. I get wanting to create drama and suspense for the readers but I believe it could have been delivered better than what it was. He basically used Allison as a sexual partner until he caught feelings and ended it... where was the off the charts chemistry? I didn’t read it or feel it!

Allison. sometimes I just wanted to shake the stupid out of this character! You never let a child run around an apartment building unsupervised! I’d rather read about a over protective parent any day. This
Mother simply lacked the appropriate parental skills of an amazing heroine! I could understand if the mother was grief stricken unable to move from bed or even ill and the child snuck off or went with a nanny, whatever. Simply not the case here. Infuriating.

Another amazing story of the Wolfe brothers!

When life has thrown Allison a curveball she moves back to be with her family for her daughter Ruby. Ruby is a seriously amazing 9 year old who keeps everyone on their toes.

Nathan is the hot airline pilot and Allison a beautiful lawyer who meet on a flight. The attraction between the two is intense from the start. Although Allison isn’t ready for any type of relationship just yet and Nathan is a one and done type of guy.

Ruby and Nathan meet and it’s utter annoyance between the two. Until Allison finds out, and then there is a shift in their relationship.

Can Allison move on from her past and can Nathan open his heart once and for all?

This is a beautiful story of healing and trusting yourself and others for a better future. Well done Sandi!

Nathan Wolfe is so amazing!! I seriously couldn’t put this book down. Nathan is a man who seems set in his ways as an eternal bachelor. A pilot flying around the world and loving it, and then he meets a woman. A woman who doesn’t fall for his charms and he can’t get her out of his mind. Allison is a single mother, to Ruby, who is moving back to New York to be closer to family with no intention of letting a man into her life. This story is so good I loved every minute of it, especially all the elevators scenes. Nathan and the Wolfe family are always a joy to read. Nathan and Allison have so much chemistry and a real deep connection you could feel it pouring off the pages of the book. And sweet Ruby’s relationship with Nathan was so heart warming. Sandi Lynn has once again delivered a sexy, romantic, HEA love story!!!

This is the perfect story to read in a comfy chair with your favorite drink. Two people who need to work through life issues…one whose father left on purpose…and the other whose husband left in death. Nathan and Allison find their way together to leave their past behind and forge ahead to create a life that includes Allison’s daughter Ruby. Honestly…I think Ruby is the catalyst that makes all this work…the voice of reason out of the mouth of babes. Love the strength of one parent trying to do what is best for their kids…and in this book you really get to see how hard that is, especially for the very powerful Caitlyn Wolfe who has brought up her three amazing sons and continues to show them how she too has questioned her own values and continues to change in her role as mother. Definitely enjoy the camaraderie of the three brothers.

Nathan is a consummate player, complete with available women in every port. Delayed in the airport, he flirts with Allison and cements his fate when she realises that he’s her pilot and led her to believe otherwise.

Holding him at a distance as she grieves the loss of her husband a year ago...he’s looking for another conquest. She enters into an arrangement of convenience until she develops feelings for him, admitting her feelings has him making a quick exit from her life.

Deciding to cut his losses and move on, it’s not that easy for him. Holding her head up, she distances herself until he comes to his senses.

An arrogant cad, not particularly appealing in his overt advances but eventually he realises what’s missing from his life.

Nathan Wolfe can make any woman’s ovaries explode with his pure sexiness! Nathan is a pilot with a love of women. He never had to fight hard to have one until he met a challenge in Allison Price. Allison is a beautiful, no nonsense lawyer, single mom and a widow. Her husband died a little over a year ago and she recently moved back to New York with her daughter to start job a law firm. Little did they know, Nathan and Allison will have their world intertwined. Nathan loves Allison’s fierceness and her lovable daughter Ruby. His bachelor card is about to be revoked! Nathan and Allison’s steamy encounters will have you wanting more! I can not wait to read about the next Wolfe brother (Nathan) 🥰😉

Another breath-taking story. Nathan Wolfe is an egotistical jerk who enjoys the pleasure of many women. In this love story we see the struggle between finding love and finding one's self. The emotions that Sandi displays between Nathan and Allison are precious yet it makes you also feel for them.

Allison is a strong women with not only an exciting but demanding career. Of course, when she sees Nathan she drools like a lost puppy but who wouldn't. Nathan knows how to charm a women like they did back in middle school with the cheesy lines. I LOVE it. This story was so refreshing in the midst of everything to allow the reader to open their mind and heart. Provides the reader with great laughs, eye rolls, and sarcasm to allow them to keep turning the page.

One legendary Wolfe brother was off the maket in love and about to get married and now there were two left to play. Nathan was a pilot and never mixed business with pleasure, he always stayed away from the women he worked with. Allison and her daughter Ruby moved to New York to be closer to family because her husband had died and she ended up working in the famous Wolfe law office. Nathan and Allison didn’t hit it off at all and neither did he with Ruby. This fun and exciting story was about how Nathan planned and schemed to get Allison without his brother finding out and without falling for her in the process. But sometimes things don’t work out the way you plan. Good read.

5 STARS! A great story about the middle Wolfe brother Nathan. He is a pilot who has women at his beck and call all over the world. Allison is the widowed single mom who works at the Wolfe family law firm. Nathan and Allison live in the same building. They had run-ins at the airport and law firm where she was tasked to defend him in a lawsuit. Nathan was anti-relationship. He spent more time with Allison and her precious daughter Ruby and eventually changed his mind after some drama. He was unlikeable, in my opinion, for half the book but redeemed himself. I loved this book! It flowed well and was easy to read. I highly recommend it.

This is book 2 in the series. This is Nathan's story and we are introduced to Allison. Nathan and Allison met prior in the airport but it was not smooth flying for Nathan. The chemistry was instant and the back and forth was intense at times. It seemed as though fate was interfering every time they turned around they were thrown together! The warning from Elijah to stay away from her went unanswered as Nathan thought he was just going to scratch an itch so to say. The old saying the bigger they are the harder they fall definitely fits this hero. With each story the fall was even harder, I cannot wait to read Mason's story!

Nathan, Nathan, what a man?

I love Nathan’s story a little more than I love Elijah’s. Great series, I love that special bond between the brothers and the relationship with their moms. Sometimes, when parents messed up the children most likely think it has something to do with them or they’re the same as said parents. I admire Nathan for voicing his worries about being like his dad and that the dad’s blood runs through him and he couldn’t commit or that he’ll do the same thing like his dad. The love and support Nathan received from his brothers to move forward with a relationship with Allison and that it’s ok to love, that love is greater than being alone.

Omg I just love any book that Sandi Lynn writes, she's so amazing. I love these alpha Wolfe brothers, so terrified of their fear to love anyone. I also like a strong woman who is smart, and can deal with these hot men. My favorite person in this book is Ruby, she's a little firecracker. I really didn't want this book to end, I was so into it. When I read Sandi Lynn's books she has a way of making you believe what's going on in the book, she just has a way with words. I'm never disappointed in any of her books and would highly recommend any of them. I can't wait for Masons story next.
