When I found this book in a secondhand bookstore, my expectations were low, to say the least. I ended up buying it out of sheer curiosity—plus, it was $6, so what did I really have to lose, right?

Honestly, not a lot! I cannot say I hated this. Goddard and Brungardt do a decent job explaining how to communicate with a lover, the do's and don't's of various parts of sex, etc. However, the book got EXTREMELY heavy-handed sometimes and was incredibly difficult to take seriously. You could probably cut twenty pages if you took out all the times they repeated jokes about being sure to stimulate the clit. Maybe some straight men are that dense, but it felt like I was being beaten over the head. The book did not take me long to read, but I had an incredibly hard time finding the energy to read because so much of the language was outdated or downright awkward. Like the bit where they tell men to be a feminist because it could help them get laid? Probably not the best way to phrase that.

While the book was entertaining (and even, for a brief moment, mildly educational), I think most of it boils down to a quote found in the beginning:
"Your most important sex organ isn't between your legs. It's between your ears."
I don't know why we need to use "sex tips" to convince men to listen to women, but here we are I guess.
