I loved this. I highlighted so many little quotes and play on words . My favourite was " He tastes like snowy sin, and I want to live on his essence for the rest of my life"
This was such a heart warmer. I love Xander and Ivy, their chemistry is wonderful. I can't wait to see what happens from here with these two.

This is the first book I’ve read by Faye Byrd and I enjoyed it so much, I’ve already preordered Locked In, the next book about Ivy and Xander. Ivy is engaged to Evan, but when she’s gets off early from work one day, she finds him screwing their neighbor. He doesn’t even see her before Annabelle pulls her out the door. Annabelle offers Ivy the use of her family’s cabin to get away. Now, the good part begins because Ivy gets to meet Xander, Annabelle’s brother. No spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens, while they’re snowed in.

Enjoyed reading this short hot romance with Ivy and Xander. They meet at his family cabin after they have both suffered a broken heart and go there not knowing that anyone else would be there. Lovely story well written with a happy ending that was not expected until the end.

Ivy finds her fiance with another woman in their apartment. Her friend/neighbor, Annabelle, lets her borrow the family cabin for some getaway time. She doesn't know that someone's already there. Xander, Annabelle's brother and a porn star, needs a break from his porn star girlfriend, and he's already at the cabin when Ivy arrives. They have a week to play together. This is completely different from anything else I've read from this author, but I love it just the same. I really enjoyed the story, a bit of a twist on the "someone's-already-at-the-cabin" theme. Ivy and Xander have great chemistry, and they both know that this is just for the week, no commitments, no promises, no forever. What happens when they fall in love? There is not a cliffhanger - more of a happy for now. But their story will continue...

Easily read this in less than a day. I don’t think I have ever read the word c**k so many times in one book in a while. This story pretty much centers around sex seeing as Ivy found her fiancé having sex with another woman and Xander was a porn star.
I wasn’t really expecting that to be the case but it shouldn’t have surprised me. Xander seemed like a really good guy though and I swear this was love at first sight or pretty close to it. These two practically fell in love in less than a week.
I’m not sure how soon I will read the actual story about these two but I am definitely curious to see what happens when they go back to reality.

Super Fun Quickie!

Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well.
I'm not going to go into detail, no spoilers, just read the book if you are even mildly intrigued by the blurb. You'll thank me later!

The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting. Add in drama and passion and you have a good read.

Wow I enjoyed this book. The characters are well developed and engaging with undeniable chemistry between the couple which made for a storyline that kept me turning the pages. The author definitely gave us a storyline I could get caught up into although it’s a little bit early for snow lol.

This is the 1st book I've read written by Faye Byrd; she has done a great job at writing a good short story; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

An enjoyable story with a similar start but then a wonderfully executed storyline. I thought his line of work was an interesting addition to the story and wondered if it would add more tension because of what happened to her in the beginning of the story. A good hook and a good delivery. I enjoyed reading this story.

Sometimes you just want a read that is easy and entertaining escapism - you know, where you don’t have to think - you can just be swept along. This is that book. Could be left as a stand alone but I do note there are more coming, which is excellent for when I’m looking for this type of read again. Recommend!
