After everything ends… who will you become? As the survivors continued to fight for their lives, seemingly insurmountable challenges push them to their limits. With every breath they take, their very existence is threatened. The search for safety, family, and food is a never-ending quest. If there is a safe-haven, will they get there before time runs out? The clock is ticking. How much time do they have before every last bit of hope is gone?
Kellee L. Greene is a stay-at-home mom to two super awesome and wonderfully sassy children. She loves to read, draw, and spend time with her family when she's not writing. Writing and having people read her books has been a long time dream of hers and she's excited to write more. Her favorite genres are Fantasy and Sci-fi. Kellee lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two kids, and two cats.
So it's obvious at this point that I am addicted to Kellee Greene's The Reset. With each new book, Greene reels me in with a new character, a new story of survival and wonder at where we might end of up next. This series has all that you need from love, romance to mystery and suspense. Challenges and survival are real, likely to happen and it's yet to become repetitive which is something I find quite a bit in disaster novels. I highly recommend this series to readers! It was well worth my one click.
Throughly enjoyable. I love books that grab you in the beginning and never let you go. The action and the story never flounder, the driving pace remains strong.
2nd book and now moving to 3rd. I like the storyline even if it’s centered on twenty something’s making their way through the apocalypse created by government? Billionaires? Who decided to “reset” the climate on earth to save the planet without knowing the consequences. Of course it all goes wrong and creates floods and earthquakes and all the deadly weather patterns killing millions. The remaining people are trying to outrun tsunamis and lightning strikes while searching for food and shelter. Might have been nice to add a few oldsters in there who maybe had some experience but then there wouldn’t have been the mistakes and bickering that makes up a good portion of the storyline. Hopefully the author is able to keep the interest in the struggle to get to higher ground alive throughout the rest of the series- we shall soon see. Interesting story due to the premise of weather instead of plague or war. Now onto number 3.
Another great read from Kellee L. Greene. Sinking is number two in The Reset series and it's a fast-moving page-turner. Every chapter is about a character and the story takes on a life of its own and flies through the book and before I knew it it was finished. I do recommend it to other readers.
I liked this book a bit better than the first one from a story point of view. Some of the characters are fleshed out a bit better, though most are mired down in a lot of angst. That is, all except Eva who is just a very bad person. These books are quite short, so hard to get into them and there are a lot of editing issues and awkward wording. Hopefully, book 3 will improve.
This book was good! The characters get more fleshed out, things get much more dire, alliances are created and old ones lost...A LOT happens in very few pages! I'm anxious to read the third book but am taking a break. I need a 'palate cleanser' and then I'll get back to this series and finish it! Well worth the read!
If there is a third book won't be reading it. Read the first one. Boring but pushed through anyway because this second book had all 5 stars and I wanted to read it. Wasted my time.
Good story. The characters seem to be very concerned about doing the right thing. They need to be concerned more about surviving which as they find their core groups I think they will. The waters are rising. An exciting read!
Apocalyptic prediction or extremely well written fiction? Either way, this author writes with a pulse pounding urgency that drags you into the story. Excellent writing. More, please?
