This is the first book that I’ve read by this author. I didn’t know what to expect but the synopsis caught my interest. When I started reading the book I will admit to being a little disappointed. It seemed as though this was yet one more modern romance where sex scenes replaced plot and character development. But as I read, things began to improve. The plot became more complex and dramatic, the characters were more engaging, and a villain appeared. All good stuff. But just when the book had my full and undivided attention the story ended. Just ended. Abruptly and with a minor cliffhanger. Libby and Finn had their Happily For Now moment but the events that had driven the plot remained unresolved. Quite disappointing. Possibly if there had been an epilogue or a note mentioning that these characters would appear throughout the series I wouldn’t have felt as though I was left hanging. So, given that I enjoyed parts of the story, I’d rate this an ok read but one that did not live up to its potential.

Deeper Than Love Series book 2 is a well-written book with Characters that are well-developed and have realistic chemistry. This is a second chance at romance book where he left her to protect her. This is a a story with danger out for both of them and a family rivalry through their fathers. There are mistakes and untruths that are keeping them apart. This is a must read

This was my first read from this author. The story is about Finn and Libby. Friends to lovers story. The only problem I had with the story, is that I don't like it, when the story starts with sex scenes. If I don't mention that, it was a good read. This was such a wonderful book. It had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it, I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.
