Short quick Insta love
Kenzie is out celebrating the opening of her new bakery with her Best friend. While drunk she mistakes Gavin a police officer as an actual stripper. He takes her home and the kiss.
Needless to say he finds her bakery asks her out to dinner, a week later they move in together. They are married shortly after that.

Cosmos, Handcuffs, Strippers and Snickerdoodles
Gavin is the first book in the Stryker County PD series and it is a very steamy and funny story.
Kenzie is twenty-four years old and has made her childhood dream come true. She has opened her own cookie bakery, Kenzie's Kooky Kookies. It is Saturday night and after a her first week her best friend Lauren has dragged her out to celebrate. Lauren took vacation time off to help Kenzie for the first couple of weeks and she is really proud of Kenzie making her dream come true. A few too many cosmos later and Kenzie thinks that a police officer who comes into the bar to make sure that nobody is too loud is a stripper hired by Lauren. I mean what else would a super best friend do to celebrate.
Gavin is thirty-six years old and has carried on the family tradition of serving as a police officer. He is still single but ready to settle down and have a family. He even bought a larger home in a good neighborhood in hopes that he would find someone to share it with.
One night on his normal rounds Gavin goes into a bar that he friend owns, just to make sure that they are not too rowdy and loud. As he is looking around he locks eyes with a beautiful and curvy young woman and is instantly attracted to her. She approaches him and thinks that he is a stripper for her. As she is obviously very drunk and he is at the end of his shift he decides to drive her and Lauren home, to make sure they get there safely. The whole drive Kenzie is still convinced that Gavin is a stripper. Well that is until he is seeing her inside her house and there is a call put out by dispatch. Then she realizes that he is actually not a stripper as he drives off with lights and sirens.
Gavin has the next couple of days off and decides that he needs to find Kenzie, as she made a definite lasting and naughty impression on him. So he visits several bakeries until he finally walks into Kenzie's Kooky Kookies. He walks out with a dozen Snickerdoodles and a date with Kenzie. Over the next couple of weeks they spend most evenings together but only get hot and heavy with the kissing. That is until they finally explode in a night of passion. Does Kenzie ever get handcuffed and her private dance from her policeman?
This is a well written and very entertaining and engaging story. The characters are funny and are very believable. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what the next Stryker County PD officer gets up to..............maybe something with the wild child Lauren???

I got a kick out of this story. My roommate was even laughing when I told him about it. It was a very entertaining and enjoyable story. The characters were interesting and relatable.

This was a short but fun story. Lauren was an awesome friend. Kenzie and Gavin cracked me up. I liked how the story ended, but I wish there was an epilogue further out. Their happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

Scrolling through kindle unlimited at 5:00am is exciting when you know what you're looking for, and even more exhilarating when you stumble across something you weren't.
Gavin the first book in the - series, is an instant love story between Kenzie, a self employed and celebrating Baker whose on a night out with her loud, and dubiously supportive friend, and Gavin, on duty cop pursuing the late night bars to suss out simmer down the rowdy and reckless.
The two meet hilariously through miscommunication and misinterpretation the midst of a wild night for Kenzie, and the ending of Gavin's shift.
The lowly, tensioned lust immediately starts with the invitation of a safe ride home, and smoulders with anticipation as the night lingers on, and the two are left alone for the briefest of minutes to loose themselves in each others keenness and impulsivity.
Gavin wasn't at all what I was looking for, but it was exactly what I needed to revel in, and brought the thrilling, steamy instant gratification I needed to relax and escape after a turbulent, sleepless night of insomnia (residue lockdown side effects)
At only 45 pages, the story was tight and titillating. Playing on the forbidden element of a naughty civilian/authority power dynamic that propelled me into their instant lust through the embarrassing, humorous and playful experienced between the two.

Kenzie is celebrating the opening of her cookie bakery. Her friend took her out to the bar when she want to stay home. A couple cosmos she starts to loosen up karaoke starts, she was account Lauren was supposed to keep count and that didn’t happen either. This is where Gavin comes in. Gavin is the police officer. He makes his routine rounds to the local bars into his friends bar to make sure that the law-enforcement presence kind a tone down peoples outrageousness. Kenzie is so intoxicated from all these cosmos that she believes that her best friend Lauren got her stripper. This goes until he finally ends up taking them home. She insists that he comes home with her. After she attacked him with kisses he gets a car and he speeds off. That is a buzz kill and fuels the fire for Gavin to go and search for her on his day off. This is instant love. This was a funny book. Patience on how many cosmos she consumed was lost in in the story. But definitely no cliffhanger.

Gavin is book one in the ‘’Stryker county PD’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Whilst out celebrating her new business, Kenzie meets a police officer. Gavin wants Kenzie from the moment he meets her but will they find love?
The chemistry between Gavin and Kenzie is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.

This short and sweet insta-love story was a hilarious case of mistaken identity. Out celebrating her new business with a friend, Kenzie mistakenly identifies hot cop Gavin as a stripper when he performs a courtesy stop by the local bar. Gavin, bemused by the curvy Kenzie, offers her a ride home and heat flares between the two. Can a case of mistaken identity lead to love? It's a nice little read about a hot elder cop and a curvy young woman who opened her own bakery. Inst love at first sight. whooo its hot. The story around is nice and tells about two people with the need to stay together. I love those little stories. They say a lot with a little amount of pages. Let your heart speak, trust in love no matter what age you are or what profession you have. You know in your soul when you met the right guy and in this book you can sure trust in love.

Really cute and funny
I get frustrated by Kali Hart’s books sometimes because they read more like insta-lust than love. I thought this one was the perfect mix of alpha and sweetness with some wonderfully funny and witty dialogue. All of that really helped to make chemistry and Feelings between the characters believable. Also, H and h were more developed characters than most of her books. This is probably my favorite Kali Hart book so far.

Gavin is a cop and after seeing Kenzie, he is having difficulty remembering she is on duty.

3.5 stars. Short story of insta love. Kenzie is celebrating the opening of her cookie bakery and after one too many Cosmos the normally shy girl mistakes cop Gavin for a stripper. Gavin takes one look at Kenzie and knows she's his forever. Can he persuade Kenzie that he can be her forever or will the humiliation over her drunken antics be too much. This was a fun short read of insta love.

July 17, 2020a short quick funny read where the alpha alw man will sweep his lucky girl off her feet, fall in love istantly, marry quickly, have babies even quicker and still be together in the epilogue set years later. Im unlucky in love so i just shook my head at how quickly the story moved along, but the series was a great quick read for a fun filled weekend away camping.

This was my first book by Kali Hart. Overall I thought the book was great. It did not have a lot of angst or drama however I felt like there could’ve been a little bit more in between. Great book.
Gavin knew he feel in love with kenzie the first time he seen her. She thought the was a stripper. Wanted her to hand cuff her. He kept saying he was a real cop. She was wasted. He drive her and her best friend home.
He found her place of business and she finally ended up with gavin and finally got her own hand cuffs

This was funny and I found myself unable to stop smiling at Kenzie’s mistake identity fiasco. It was hot too! The Stryker County Police Department Series is starting our on the right foot.

A great short sexy story
The characters were so great and the chemistry between the two main characters was scorching hot.

Quick and enjoyable read
I really enjoyed how Kenzie really thought the cop was a stripper. It was funny. It was fast but heartwarming and Kali Hart writes really well. I look forward to the next book.

Unexpected
I didn’t expect to love this book. I thought it was going to be another cheesy insta-love hero story. But it actually had depth and was really well written. It was still kind of cheesy at the end but worth the read.
