I actually started Fake Slackers because we are getting a Thai adaptation of this which I'm very excited for. I love Domundi's series and CopperFifa and this series caught my eyes because of its plot instantly. The scenes from pilot mostly happened to chapter 17 (except the lovey-dovey ones from the ending). About the novel itself, I had soooo much fun reading this - the series is absolutely hilarious. I fell in love with the plot and the characters even more.
The story has 112 chapters but because it has two volumes on here I am logging it as chapters 1-56. The story is VERY slow paced but that's why I enjoy it so much.
He Zhao is actually such an extraordinary character. I was dying when he was playing the dress-up game for girls and his ID was SoftLittleCutie. Then he played the romance game. And the funniest part about it was that their teacher also played the games to get to understand He Zhao more. Or during the sports game when he suddenly lost the run that he would win if he wasn't such an attention seeker (lovingly). As well as Xie Yu calling him Big bro flirt then.
Xie Yu is my favourite character though and I can't wait to see him be played by Fifa. Fifa is perfect for that role.
When Dean Jiang left, the class let out a breath. They were about to pull their chairs back to their seats when a girl suddenly screamed again. "Order, order, be quiet," Wan Da said. "Xu Qingqing, is my story really so terrifying?" Xu Qingqing said that she wasn't nearly as timid as he thought she was. Then she looked pointedly in a certain direction and successfully drew everyone's eyes to the tightly linked hands of the two big bros. Wan Da and the other students: ".....!"
Shen Jie cut himself off halfway. Wan Da urged him from behind: "Still sleeping? Just shake him awake." Wan Da walked up, glanced inside the dorm room, and was also stunned speechless. "......" "Can you hit me?" "You... hit me, too." Xie Yu's head was pillowed on He Zhao's arm. His back was to the door and it looked like he was lying in He Zhao's embrace from where Shen Jie was standing.

this was a real sweet and heartwarming novel. As a student thats about to sit for her IGCSE this year, this book had been real motivating for me to continue studying and acing my exams. Both leads really care for each other and in a way healing and bringing out each other from their own dark past. Another thing I really liked was the mutual support between the classmates. Every time before and after an exam, they would always get together and support each other, whether it be fooling around or actually helping them out with questions they have no clue how to solve.
What really made my day was when both leads unleashed their true potential and aced their exams, also changing people's impression of them in the process. That whole process was really a bliss to read.
ps,,,watching 2 hot school 'bullies' dating and getting married was really really hot
