Saya jadi anggota perpustakaan jakarta sejak November 2022 tapi baru mulai browsing situsnya hari ini gara-gara ikutan acara lokakarya menulis. Dan... ternyata di fitur e-Resource tersedia link ke situs NatGeoKids! Ga maen-maen, saya dapet akses ke 777 buku, 236 video, 1,156 gambar dan 3,560 edisi majalah! Semua itu bisa diakses langsung atau di-download buat dibaca pas lagi offline. Syurga dunia~
Vocab-nya masih cukup sederhana jadi mudah dimengerti bahkan buat orang dewasa yang kemampuan bahasa Inggrisnya cukup terbatas kaya saya. Dan isinya mayan padat. Tentang kondisi di kutub dan fauna di kutub. Apa sich karakteristik dari kutub itu? Gimana sich cara fauna di kutub bertahan hidup.
Dan di setiap halamannya ada kata yang di-highlight sebagai kata "baru" dan dijelasin artinya. Semacam: predator tuh sebutan buat hewan yang memburu atau makan hewan lain. Kumpulan "kata" baru ini muncul jadi semacam kamus di halaman belakang juga.
Suka penasaran kalau pembaca cilik kita beneran baca atau cuma ngebalik tiap lembaran aja? Tenang, buku ini dilengkapi sama quiz singkat buat ngukur seberapa jauh pembaca cilik kita memahami materi di buku. Keren lah pokoknya mah
