So many unexpected twists and turns, can’t wait to start the second book. Love all the Welsh content too, one of the best fantasy books I’ve read in a while.
A friend of mine did the audiobook narration on this one so I tried it out. He sounded great, unfortunately I wasn't really into the story. The writing was sub-par and I'm not that into the whole modern day wizards/vampires thing. My friend tells me that the series does get better and manages to defy expectation in later books, but unfortunately, at the ripe old age of 51, I just don't feel like I have the time to read books that aren't really interesting to me.
