This is an entertaining, well-written, fast paced, steamy and humorous romantic detective novel. It is the best Suds and Sam novel yet! Sam is a strong and capable female protagonist, and the chemistry between Suds and Sam is off the charts. All of the entries in this series are excellent, and can be read as stand-alones, but they are better when read in order, as there are references to characters that were previously introduced. I am looking forward to Ms. Alden's next adventure for Suds and Sam with great anticipation! I received an ARC of this novel, and this is my honest review.

I almost didn’t download this ARC for one simple reason... I don’t want other readers thinking I’m giving it a 5 star rating because of it. However like a user needing her fix I I hit download and prayed like Sam that this book was as good as the other because I need to know what happens.
I was not disappointed. Not even a little. There has been only 1 other series I’ve read that I’ve given multiple books 5 stars. Don’t be offended but authors usually let me down after book 2 sometimes they wait till 3, it happens non the less. Stella didn’t do that. She writes words that I want to keep reading. She writes in a way that sucks you in and keeps you there till the very end.
I know this is a glowing review, it’s sickening. That’s how good this book is though. That’s how good this series is. I want to find fault just so I feel like I haven’t lost my captious heart. At the end of the day though it just works! Its got everything you want in a book. Unless you don’t like a little sexy time. Then maybe you could find fault.
A hot hero alpha male. A smart, brave she hero a she-ro if you will. Action, adventure, comedy, lovins, friendship, a healthy relationship. It’s just a good combo.
Murder. Framing. Adventure. Kidnapping. Rescue mission. Crazy cat. You can’t stop till it’s all done. Seriously, go read it then come back and reply to this and let me know if I’m wrong. Or even if you agree.

This is one of my favorite stories so far in this series. I was glad Sam and Suds were at Sud’s attorney’s wife Sienna’s concert. The base guitarist’s guitar won’t work, the lights go out, the guitarist’s eyes go weird and Sienna pulls the plug. Suds jumps on stage to give the guitarist CPR as he has seen an electrocution before. Unfortunately Sienna has been set up to be charged for murder of the guitarist. Then things start getting exciting. There are kidnappings taking place, among other terrible happenings. I like it when Suds asked some of his old team come to help. This is an exciting book, and I encourage you to read it. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

Another wonderful tale in the lives of Suds and Sam as they strengthen both their detective agency and their relationship. With murder, danger, mystery and laughter in the mix, this book grips you from the start and won’t let you go until the end. This awesome couple can get themselves into some interesting situations! I am loving this series, it just keeps getting better and better.

Suds and Sam are back again with more out of this world drama, mystery, suspense, and hot sexy scenes. It has you laughing at the best of times and feeling the pain at the worst of times. We get to see so many characters from the Patten Securities. They add so much to the story. It is one that is draws you in and keeps you glued to the edge of your seat. It is extremely well written and of course Suds and Sam were out of this world well developed. I loved this edition of Suds and Sam. They have grown so much throughout the different stories. It is laugh out loud funny. This is a fantastic must read and it doesn’t disappoint!!!!!!

LOVED!! I am a huge Suds and Sam fan and this does not disappoint! Only these two could go to a concert and end up in a murder investigation. I love the humor between these two and I love how much they love each other. They are smart investigators and will not give up until the case is solved. The additional characters, her family and his work buddies make this a great fun series to read. And the surprise at the end was awesome!

This was a great addition to the Suds Series. Sam and Suds chemistry is off the charts and they will set your Kindle on fire. This romantic thriller is hard to put down once you start reading. A page turner that is also humorous at times. Well written with great characters and an enchanting story line. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.

This chapter continues in the wonderful banter between Suds and Samantha. Not as much pressure from her family this time, but this case hits close to home with Sienna (Andy's wife). But back to the hilarity, there's Catrina the cat, who's acting weird, gummy vitamins that are trying not to be murdered, breakfast being the most important meal of the day, taking vitamins and switching types of coffee. I was quite happily surprised when the action hit when it did, and I found that it was topped up compared to other chapters in this series. I also loved more of the Patten guys in this chapter as well. Highly recommend, suspense, hilarity, steamy and just an all around feel good book when you read any Suds and Sam.

I can NOT get enough of Sam and Sud's! These two are the funniest, toughest most loving two PJ's ever. Their stories are grear, interesting, sometimes scary but they are funny. Sam and her big Italian family that range from her dad a police chief her Uncle Vinny the mind guy, her friends...the hit man! Sud's a ex Deal has friends in high p!aces! This story really got heavy with murder, kidnapping and sex trafficking! Great book!

Fried Cal is the latest installment in Stella Marie Alden’s Suds and Sam mysteries. I swear this series just keeps getting better with each new book. Suds and Sam have the best chemistry, not only do they steam things up they are also funny as heck.
Sam has a unique quality of attracting trouble. Thankfully they were on hand when this murder takes place, otherwise one of Sam's friends might be in trouble.

I can't get enough of the series. Wow, talk about a conspiracy...and I really want to know the connection to Sam's family...But Suds is just the sweetest guy, he cares so much about Sam, it makes my heart swell. But get this straight they by no means are like the perfect couple they fight and wow some of those fights are quite hot but they work through it and talk. Storyline is great and characters is lot s of fun.

Another great, funny, sexy, murder mystery. What is Fried Cal? A bass guitarist named Calvin gets electrocuted. Who dun it? Suds and Sam are on the case. They are just the best couple out there. They can't keep their hands off of each other. And their families and friends are a hoot. Not to mention their cat. I love this series! You will too. No need to read in order. They are all terrific.

Oh Suds and Sam, you never have a dull moment. Some has been electrocuted at a gig and now the story begins. I love trying to guess who the killer is but never can , even near the end.
Every plot is different but all the action, danger and laughter is always there.

This is the next instalment of the private eyes, as suds and Sam try to spend some personal time together. They end up caught in the middle of a murder investigation. Old friends are reunited as the patten boys use their skills to save the day. Yet again the humour is this series is on point. I love all of Sam's family and how they interact. I can't wait for more.

Suds and Sam are back at it again. This time what starts out as a simple date night in Fried Cal, written by Stella Marie Alden, ends up in murder and so much more. Alden always gives us more than one mystery in her books, but in this case it is only one mystery. This one mystery leads us into very dark waters.
I just kind of lied. There is another mystery, but it is such a small mystery it does not really rate a mention unless of course this is a crumb for the next book as Sam “solved” the mystery but did not resolve it. You will understand that more when you read it. (laugh)
Suds and Sam keep the steam hot thank goodness. I love Suds. I want a Suds. Just saying. If I was voting for a book boyfriend, I would pick Suds.
Alden keeps me coming back for more with her creativity in the writing of her mysteries. Her humor. The heat between Sam and Suds. Plus all of the craziness of the secondary characters are why I read this series. If you have not started this series yet, you could start with this one because it can be read as a standalone. Stop by Suds and Sam for heat, laughs, oh and they have really cute cat too.

And these two are truly magical; in their banter, chemistry and work. Truly the best partners in every way. These two usually find some way to have some fun which makes reading their books a real joy.
The plot of this book is highly engaging with suspense not only for the mystery that needs solved to save Sienna, but also to save Sam as well. In true Sam-fashion, she finds a way to help herself just when help arrives Suds-style.

Another Suds and Sam book in the series and a great addition. I love this couple. They are so sexy and steamy and so freaking funny. These books always increase my heart rate and make me laugh, this one is no different, thank goodness! What is supposed to be a relaxing night out at a concert turns into a case when the bass player ends up dead and their friend's wife, Sienna is a suspect. Of course that is not the only mystery in this book, there is a pregnancy test in the waste basket that needs explaining. If you have not picked up one of these books, I highly recommend doing so, they are fantastic stories full of mystery, suspense, humor and of course the steamy side to this duo. Enjoy!

What was suppose to be a night out for Suds and Sam ends up with a "who done it". And who else better to solve it than Suds and Sam, Private Investigators! I love these two characters, they are intense, passionate, funny, flawed, and the dialogue between them is hilarious. Sam's family with all their widely diverse craziness is back again, in full force. Stella Marie Alden has given us two characters that I could read over and over again. The story is fast paced, has the usual surprises we expect, and the chemistry remains as intense as ever. I can't wait to see what life has inshore for these two next. Great read!

You can always tell when a series is good, you always give it 5 stars and this series has always made me choose 5 stars. From book one it hasn’t disappointed. Now Suds and Sam are off on another adventure. Slow to start off with crazy, lovable cat Catrina. Never laughed so much at an animal or pet till her. Then throw in a good plot of murder. Framed singer Sienna needs help and now the fun begins. A rollercoaster of a story. Lots of laughter from Lucky, crazy Aussie. Danger in Dubai and a whole lot of lovin from Suds and Sam plus will there be a new addition to the story....we will see. Can’t wait to read more in this series.

I love Suds and Sam. Her family is hilarious and they are both snarky, witty and full of humor. They get front row seats at a concert that their lawyer/friend, Andy Quinn's, wife, Sienna, is giving. She is a really hot and famous singer. As the concert is about to start, the guitar player, Calvin "Cal", plugs in his amp. Everything goes dark and Cal is electrocuted. There are quite a few clues but you have to weed out the red herrings. This story alludes to Sienna's past and includes kidnapping, sex slave trading, the start of a pandemic and a few other mishaps. This was a great read with lots of action. I loved it!

Sam & Suds go to a friend’s concert and get caught up in a murder investigation. As their search for the killer intensifies, does someone have a target on their back as well? The fun-loving crime fighting duo is back with another adventure that excites Sam and brings anxiety for Suds as he does his best to keep her out of trouble. Despite causing him worry & panic whenever she gets in trouble, you can feel the intense love they have for one another. This was a great read and looking forward to the next one!

The singer wife of a good friend is being accused of murdering her bassist. It’s up to Sebastian and Samantha to figure it out. They are really funny goofy with each other and can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves. Their kitty is psychotic. Sam ends up on an international involuntary adventure and is hoping Suds can come to the rescue and find her. Nicely written and holds your attention from the start. Very enjoyable read.
