This book is the story of Rose. She was 97 years old when Beth interviewed her for her story. Her son, John, who is a photographer wanted to capture his Mom and her memories besides her photos. I met John at a local Townsquared meeting, and we set up a date and time to interview Rose. I met her in person, and she was still living on her own. She talks about growing up in a first-generation immigrant family from Italy although both parents met in New Jersey. There were 11 children in her family. They were Catholic. For some reason, Rose was chosen to cook and clean when her Mom got sick with cancer. Bad things happened to Rose in her childhood, but she doesn’t like to remember those times. Rose feels she's had another second childhood moving to Seattle to be closer to her son. She was 83 at the time of this move. This book is the unique story of Rose Cornicello. It's a delightful masterpiece in Rose's own words.
