Der junge Erfolgsautor Subaru hat sich nach dem plötzlichen Unfalltod seiner Eltern komplett aus dem gesellschaftlichen Leben zurückgezogen und leidet in seiner Trauer unter einer Schreibblockade. Als ihm am Grab seiner Eltern eine kleine streunende Katze zuläuft, die fortan nicht mehr von seiner Seite weichen will, nimmt sein Leben wieder Fahrt auf. Denn nun muss er hinaus in die Welt... Katzenfutter besorgen! Online bestellen geht nicht, das Tier liegt laut schnurrend auf seinem Laptop! Also muss er shoppen gehen in der Tierhandlung, die Katze braucht ein Klo! Dort arbeitet auch noch eine sehr nette junge Frau, die den scheuen jungen Mann mit ihren freundlichen Ratschlägen zur Katzenhaltung ein ums andere Mal erröten lässt.

DE: Ich weiß, ich weine über fast jede berührende Geschichte, aber wenn ich darüber nachdenke, wie Haru sich um Subaru kümmert... Ich möchte nur einen Fluss weinen und eine Katze adoptieren lol.

Bercerita tentang seorang penulis super introvert yang tahu-tahu ketemu kucing liar yang tahu-tahu (lagi) memberikan inspirasi novel buat dia. Akhirnya dia memungut kucing itu dengan berharap dia terus mendapatkan ide menulis.
Ternyata yang dia dapatkan bukan sekadar inspirasi buat menulis, malah perubahan secara menyeluruh di dalam hidupnya.
Alur ceritanya alon-alon asal kelakon, tapi justru ini yang bikin saya jatuh cinta. Semacam baca Natsume Yujincho, gak bisa mengharapkan alur cepat yang penuh drama, kayak jet coaster yang naik-turun.
Terkadang, gak melulu yang penuh drama itu bagus. Terkadang baca sesuatu yang pelan malah lebih merasuk ke hati.

This was just sweet and funny! A nice view behind the scenes of living with a cat for those of us who don't have one. I'd say this is also a good manga for beginners because it has few characters and is not confusing.

Avevo visto l'anime omonimo un anno fa ormai e l'annuncio del manga mi aveva reso molto felice perché questa storia di uno scrittore misantropo e di una gattina randagia è dolcissimaaaa. Subaru esce poco di casa, passando tutto il suo tempo a leggere e scrivere romanzi gialli. Andando un giorno alla tomba dei suoi genitori incontra una gattina che gli da l'ispirazione per una storia e quindi decide di portarsela a casa. Ma uno scrittore che a malapena sa badare a se stesso come può prendersi cura di un altro essere vivente? E la gattina, denominata dal ragazzo Haru, cosa pensa di questo strano umano che gli da cibo? Una storia bellissima, i disegni sono semplici, ma in alcuni momenti molto toccanti. C'è inoltre molto divertimento con i due punti di vista dei protagonisti e quindi vediamo anche la vita di un umano attraverso gli occhi di un gatto con tutte le sue stranezze e comportamenti felini. In ogni caso al pari dell'anime anche il manga mi ha emozionato e divertito, è stato un piacere rileggere questa storia. Voglio continuare la lettura e vedere le differenze con l'anime anche se al momento sono minime perché anche se il design è un po' diverso la storia e le emozioni che provoca sono le medesime e questa edizione è piccola ma ben fatta come tutto della Flashbook e adoro tanto tanto.

Heartwarming story about a loner novelist and his tuxedo cat, both human and cat are soooo cuuuuteeee!!! XDD
Cat lovers, you will love this one! Because Haru the cat is so cute, of course. And because Haru has her own POV too. It's really unique because usually in animal story like this we only have the human's POV, but we got double POV here! :D
It reminds me of Baku and his little rabbit Sentaro in Sentaro but I love this one more, why, because there's more 'feelings' in it, not only we get to know the feelings of the shut-in novelist, but also what the cat thinks about human, haha, she thinks in a very cat-like, btw, and I like that.

At first, I shipped the novelist with his editor, but this is shoujo manga, looks like he will end up with Nana, the cat shop clerk.

Ach co mogę o niej powiedzieć, ogólnie bardzo pomysłowa manga, kto by się spodziewał, że kot i człowiek mogą się tak dogadać. Ale zaczniemy od początku Subaru jest autorem kryminałów, strasznie skryty w sobie tak a pro, jednak pewnego dnia spotyka kotkę, przygarnia ją i zaczyna się ich wspólne życie, widzimy ich relacje, zloty i upadki, różne momenty, które są szczęśliwe, komiczne ale też smutne. Jak zawsze pierwszy tom jest wprowadzający ale na pewno sięgnę po drugi. Szczerze polecam można naprawdę znaleźć coś dla siebie w niej

Questo manga è super consigliato a chi ha con sé un animale domestico, soprattutto un gatto.
Non so voi, ma ogni volta che Haru lanciava a Subaru i suoi sguardi assassini, scoppiavo a ridere... la mia gatta fa lo stesso con me!

Such a heartearming read! Love the alternating POVs and the art design. Having a soft spot for stray and shy cats, some scenes hit very very close to home! Can't wait for the next chapters.

Ich war überrascht wie sehr mir diese Story gefiel. Ich hab das Manga für meine Frau gekauft und eines Abends als ich meinen Comic fertig gelesen hatte grief ich zu dem Heft. Es ist eine packende, emotionale und glaubwürdige Story. Die Bildsprache als auch der Inhalt der Geschichte ist behutsam und doch knall hart. Eine wundervolle Idee Katze und Mensch zwei Seiten der Geschichte erzählen zu lassen. Von mir auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung. Achtung: die ein oder andere Träne könnte schon fließen.

Cute little manga about an antisocial author who ends up with a stray cat, and his adventures with said cat. I really like how it alternates between chapters from the human's point of view, to chapters from the cat's point of view. Also, it's a fairly easy read in Japanese, which is a nice break after the last manga I read.

I love the witty perspective of the cat. It brings a delightful humor as it observes and interprets the world around her.

Ты знаешь, что к тебе применили нечестный прием, когда в книге есть следующие составляющие:

- писатель-социофоб в главгероях, в порыве вдохновения подбирающий бездомного котика;
- фанатичный редактор-кошколюб, который под предлогом работы постоянно наведывается к главгерою;
- котяра с обманчиво недовольной мордой т.т
- множественные комичные ошибки в интерпретации поведения кошек;
- полнейший сюр в секции “а теперь та же самая ситуация с точки зрения кота”;
- целая глава, где речь окружающих пропускается через призму восприятия представителя семейства кошачьих.

Будь это однобокая история об адаптации героя к жестокости мира с посильной помощью мурчащего приживалы - то половина интереса была бы утеряна еще в первой же главе. Весь смак тут составляют промежуточные главы, где предыдущие события рассказываются с точки зрения кота :D Это пополам стеб в духе “хватит очеловечивать животных”, пополам трогательная история (с простыми и возможно неправдоподобными, но действенными ходами). I’M SOLD. Буду читать эту мангу до скончания веков (тем более в доступе всего 12 глав :с).

Na tę mangę natknęłam się wręcz przypadkiem, jednak wcale nie żałuję jej zakupu.
Historię Subaru i Haru czyta się bardzo szybko i przyjemnie, w dobry sposób pokazuje relację łączącą człowieka z kotem, co z pewnością mogą potwierdzić posiadacze tych uroczych futrzaków. Jest to też opowieść o samotności i próbie wzajemnego zrozumienia, co da się wyczytać dopiero pomiędzy wierszami.
Zdecydowanym plusem mangi jest wprowadzenie dwóch narracji - Subaru, który z trudem próbuje przywyknąć do towarzystwa żywej istoty w swoim domu oraz samej Haru, która widząc jego nieporadność, bierze na siebie obowiązek opieki nad nowym właścicielem.
Narrację trochę psuje samo ukazanie głównego bohatera - został zaprezentowany jak stereotypowy pisarz i czasami jego zachowanie jest wręcz przerysowane.
Z pozoru lekka historia, jednak pełna drobnych, łamiących serce niuansów. Szczerze mogę ją polecić - zwłaszcza kociarzom.

Eine zuckersüße Geschichte, die zeigt, dass Mensch und Tier sich gegenseitig unterstützen und füreinander da sein können.

Die Geschichte wird im Wechsel aus zwei Perspektiven geschrieben: ein Kapitel aus der Sicht von Subaru und das nächste aus der Sicht von der Katze Haru. Ich liebe es total wenn Geschichten aus zwei Perspektiven geschrieben werden, da man so einen besseren Einblick erhält. Aber hier einen Einblick in die Gedanken einer Katze zu erhalten, ist beeindruckend! Ich wollte schon immer wissen, was Tiere in einigen Situationen denken.

Ach das war wirklich niedlich. Ein Mensch, der nichts von Menschen hält und nur allein sein möchte und eine Katze, die plötzlich auf ihn trifft und ihn als sehr erträglichen Menschen kennenlernt. Bin sehr gespannt, wie es weitergeht!
