Omega Sawyer Thornburn is having the worst day of his life. His beloved Granddad just died, and the same day he discovers his alpha, Jeremy, is a sneaky, lying cheat.
Alpha Tex Bronston grew up on The Tumbleweed Dude Ranch owned by Sawyer’s Granddad. He remembers butting heads constantly with Sawyer when the younger omega spent his summers on the ranch.
When Sawyer inherits The Tumbleweed Dude Ranch from his Granddad, he flees his cheating ex and high stress job in Los Angeles to start a new life in Red Sky, Texas.
Unfortunately, no one on the ranch wants him there.
This 84,000 word story is book three in Beau's Red Sky, Texas Mpreg Series. It's filled with angst, male pregnancy, smexy times and all of the warm fuzzy feelings you expect from an Mpreg romance by Beau Brown.
This was book 3 in the "Red Sky, Texas" series. Omega Sawyer Thornburn is having a bad day he gets to work only to have his boss tell him that his beloved grandfather has died of a heart attack. When he goes home he finds his alpha Jeremy in bed with another omega then Jeremy blames him Sawyer finds out that Jeremy has lied and cheated throughout there relationship. Alpha Tex Bronston grew up on The Tumbleweed Dude Ranch he was expecting to inherit at least half of the ranch but Joe didn't get around to changing his will so Sawyer gets the ranch. Yes is on pins a needles he wants to buy the ranch but doesn't have enough money. Sawyer and Tex are butting heads with Tex jumping to conclusions. When Sawyer finds out he is pregnant he knows that his ex doesn't want kids so Tex steps up. This was a pretty good read. These two started like oil and water. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Cute story. Beau Brown writes endearing cute stories. But I just didn’t feel their connection at first it got better as their story evolved but it was just missing “something”.
Book three in the series brings Sawyer and Tex's story. The author once again brings strong characters and weaves an entertaining story line. As kids they had their problems with each other. As adults they accept their fate. It's a sweet and sexy romance with a fun banter and sexy scenes. I loved reading their story and would recommend this book.

This is a first time read by this author for me and I really enjoyed it I will have to go back and read the other two. Sawyer has a very high stress job he hasn't been able to visit his grandfather in Red Sky, Texas in 6 years so when he gets the news his grandfather has passed he is shocked and devisistated but things only get worse when he returns home to find his Alpha in bed with another Omega he's hit even harder what a jerk so he leaves LA for Texas to deal with his grief and get away from his cheating ex. But he knows when he gets home he'll have to deal with Tex his secret crush from when he was a kid and also the biggest jerk he picked on him and acted like he didn't exist so when he's meet at the airport by non other then Tex his tormentor it starts and all out wore of words and resentment.
Tex looked up to Sawyers Grandfather and was always jealous of there relationship but when Joe dies and he finds out the cute but annoying kid that followed him all-over the dude ranch inherits everything he's shaken frustrated and scared but he doesn't tell Sawyer instead he picks up right were they left of with the jerk behavior. Eventually they learn to get along there's a spark between them but Tex is a player and has never settled down and Sawyer has learned the hard way that sometimes you don't really know people one cheating Alpha a hole is enough but when Sawyer discovers some shocking news its Tex that comes to his rescue now they will have to navigate there feelings and the undeniably chemistry they have in the instant family they will become. Two former enemy's and one un planed pregnancy will have these two find the love they always had for each other.
I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book via books proud and this is my honest review.
Sawyer just found out the worse news on the same day - his grandfather died and his Alpha was sleeping with other men. Stricken with grief, Sawyer heads to Texas to settle his grandfather's estate and attend his funeral. There he is reunited with old family friends and his crush, Tex. When Sawyer was a teen he would visit for weeks in the summer and that's where he met the foster boy his grandfather took in- Tex. Both had a love-hate relationship, but Tex would taunt and tease Sawyer endlessly. But back on the ranch, Sawyer seems to think that what he had in California isn't enough and maybe what he really wants and was missing from his life was in Texas all along. It just might take a few bumps and bruises, snakes and the green-eyed monster; for both Sawyer and Tex to open up their eyes on the possibility of a future together.
I really enjoyed this book. I was pleasantly surprised by the content and the flow of the story. I was hesitant at first because honestly I've never heard of this author prior to reading this novel. But, I was immediately drawn in with the conflict emerging what in the beginning and the brewing sexual tension between Tex and Sawyer. You could feel the emotions of the characters and I just got sucked into this story. I would definitely recommend anyone should read this cute romance!
To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
After the death of his grandfather and finding his alpha cheating Sawyer moves to the ranch he was left. Sawyer was called into his boss's office and he told him that Sawyer's grandfather and his long term friend has died then sends him home to mourn. Arriving at his apartment he walks in to find Jeremy the alpha he has been with for two years having unprotected sex with an unknown omega. Sawyer tells him they are over and he needs to move out. Later he heads to his grandfather's ranch for the funeral and then the reading of the will. He is picked up at the airport by Tex who his grandfather had fostered and who Sawyer had a strained relationship as a teenager and on the trip to the ranch they seem to fall back into their bickering ways. At the reading of the will Sawyer is shocked to find that it had never been updated to include Tex or Pat the woman his grandfather had been sweet on and makes him sole owner of the ranch.

Never put off tomorrow, what you can do today. Sawyer, finds out his Grandpa Joe dies and heads home early only to find his Alpha boyfriend, Jeremy cheating with another omega. He heads to the ranch, to attend the funeral and finds out he inherits the Tumbleweed Dude Ranch, on which he spent many summers. Tex and Sawyer had history during those summers.. Tex, Joe's foster son expected to inherit half the ranch. But Joe never finalized updating his will. Sawyer decides to stay and recapture his youth. Sadly, the ranch hands are hostile because they are on Team Tex. Sawyer followed Tex around when they were younger and Tex used to have soft feelings for Sawyer. Are their feelings still ripe? Can they live peacefully on the ranch? Will Sawyer sell or will he try to work the ranch? Is Jeremy gone for good? Lots of surprises and a few twists. Nicely done. Nice story. The guys start slow, but they are nice guys. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am volntarily leaving a review.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story, it was a story that touched on to lonely boys who were forced together on a ranch in Texas. One was the grandson of the owner Sawyer was sent to his grandfather every summer and he grew to love it at the ranch but he resented Tex, the young man who his grandfather fostered when his parents died.
These two young guys both were attracted to each other but denied it to themselves, then one day Sawyer receives a phone call saying that his grandfather had passed away, he goes home to talk to his partner only to discover him cheating on him in their bed. He leaves and goes to Texas and the ranch where he finds he has to search deeply into himself and finds peace and love for Tex. They come to an agreement where Tex will look after him and eventually his alpha will claim him and they have a happily ever after together on the ranch.

Sawyer has two shocks that change his life. First he finds out his grandfather died and then he catches his alpha cheating on him on the same day. Going home to his grandfather's dude ranch, he meets up with Tex, who has been a bane to his existence since he was a small child. The two work on a hate to love relationship as they try to come eye to eye about the rance that Sawyer inherited. Tex being fostered by Joe, Sawyer's grandfather was supposed to get half of the ranch, but the will never got changed. How can these two come together when there is so many things to get in the way, especially the fear that Tex has that Sawyer will sell the ranch out from under him. A book you will want to read as the tension and angst keep you reading to see what happens next. Good story. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC book.
This one was a little hit and miss for me. In the beginning, I felt the spark and tension between Sawyer and Tex. However, with Tex constantly putting his foot in his mouth, the tension fizzled, leaving behind two men continuously butting heads. It was exhausting watching these two go at it; getting under each other’s skin. The lack of trust in each other’s intentions also threw a spanner in the works. Their bickering went on for 76% of the book.
I preferred the second half, when they stopped clashing and things actually started happening between them. This half captured a deeper, more meaningful connection between the two.

City-Boy is book 3 in the Red Sky, Texas series and can be read as a standalone. I loved this sweet book and couldn't put it down. I loved Sawyer and Tex together. When Sawyer's granddad Joe died he found himself back in Texas at the ranch his granddad owned and loved. After becoming owner of the ranch Sawyer decided to stay and learn how to help run it. Tex had grown up on the ranch and would tease Sawyer when he came to visit as a boy. It wasn't a very welcome reunion at first but I loved watching Sawyer and Tex as they figured out their feelings for each other. If you enjoy sweet mpreg stories I recommend this one.

I loved this enemies to lovers romance! Poor Sawyer has a monstrously bad day and it doesn't seem to get better for a long while. Tex spent the first third of the book being the poster boy for 'Jerks Anonymous'. I wanted to smack him upside the head more than once. His proposal for a fake romance to get what he wanted actually made me growl. Sawyer is one strong, determined man. He has regrets and acknowledges his mistakes. I liked that he recognized that the ranch was his home. He was willing to work hard and learn. I was also impressed that he didn't demurely sit back and let others determine how he should act. Once these two let their walls down and actually talked things started to work. The epilogue was truly satisfying. Recommended author
I absolutely loved this story about the city boy coming home to the ranch and finding love with the cowboy. A tragedy might have reunited Sawyer and Tex but they can't deny their strong attraction to one another. They had issues in the past as kids but as grown men they are learning to move past petty arguments and accept fate. A surprise Sawyer didn't see coming strengthen their bond more and these two lovely men found love with one another and had a lovely HEA. What an enjoyable sweet omega/alpha romance. I'm glad I took a chance and read this book. Now I'm a Beau Brown fan:)

This is the classic city boy vs country boy slash grandson vs orphan story with a small twist. In this version, the omega, Sawyer, is the one who goes for the high stress, stock broker job in the big city and the alpha stays on the ranch.
Tex is a little immature. He does throw temper tantrums that are not pretty. I must admit I was secretly happy that he had to work through his attitude with a little suffering. The whole use a different alpha to make Tex jealous works here because Tex is being a big baby.
A little danger, a little miscommunication and a baby made this an enjoyable read.
I enjoyed this as I do with all this author's work.
An enemies to friends to lovers story of 2 guys who have deep trust issues, which runs through almost to the end of the book but it's good to see them work through their problems to their well deserved HEA.
I'd really like to see Baker and Jesse's story next.
Sawyer's has a life in Los Angeles. His grandfather, Joe, dies and that changes everything in his life. Tex was raised by Joe after his parents were killed in an accident. Sawyer and Tex always clashed when they were together. They're attracted to each other but fight the attraction. The more they're together the harder it gets. I really enjoyed this book.
This isn’t my first time reading this book so I was shocked when I got to the back and realized I hadn’t reviewed it yet. It goes to show how much I enjoyed it by the fact that I read it twice! Tex and Sawyer are really meant for each other! You could tell from the way Tex treated him when they were younger. It’s was nice watching them find their HEA!
Loved it, and I didn't think I would. But I loved Tex and Sawyer. They fuss and fight each other , but we're made for each other. Loved this! Now, I have to go back and read the other books in this series.😍
City-Boy is the third book in the Red Sky, Texas Series by Beau Brown. Fun, sweet, steamy mpreg romance set in a small town on a ranch.... these characters make you fall in love and 5geir story keeps you reading and smiling. Loved it!
Weaved a very interesting story with the characters Sawyer and Tex. Liked the slow built up trust between them and the unconditional love. Really liked the story. Ranch-style love !
