Does the name Danica Patrick sound familiar to you? Well, she is an indy car driver, started racing when she was 16. Her parents were snowmobile drivers, and great role models/supporters. She may have the racing blood but as a female driver, Patrick has had a hard time showing her skill behind the wheel. In 2005 she started driving and showed the world her great skill in a man's world. Sadly this technique did not show in 2006. Patrick went down from an end in 4th in 2005 to 14 in 2006. This may look bad but she learned more and more, she improved. In 2007 she knew what to do and she had a good fast car and was doing well in 4th place, but then the rain cane and she ended in 18th. In 2008, she won the Indy Japan 300, becoming the first woman to win in an Indy Car race. All that year she was on the post/top 5. She was now showing what she has learned from all those years.
