This could be a good story if it was longer. The writing is fine and the plot is nice. The characters are not fleshed out because the story is too short.
I think this was really meant as a prequel to a novel. At least I hope so.
I love pirate stories featuring strong women.

An excellent novella, very good ideas, well written with a good strong lead character. The bonus chapters of the first full novel in the series looked good I will be buying it. I received the novells on a free offer but would gladly have paid for it.
