Taken: Dark Legacy Trilogy

Rate this book
I’m one of four Willow daughters. He’s the first-born son of the Scafoni family.
And we have history.

For generations, the Scafoni family have demanded a sacrifice of us. A daughter to atone for sins so old, we don’t even remember what they are anymore.

But when you have as much money as they do, you don’t play by the rules. You make them. And Sebastian Scafoni makes all the rules.

The moment I saw him, I knew he would choose me. Even though the mark on my sheath declared me unclean. Even though my beautiful sisters stood beside me, offered to him, he still chose me.

He made me his. And then he set out to break me.

Taken: Fantastic read! Unstoppable force at play here and it’s a fabulous book! I really enjoyed this as I always do with each book this Author writes. Such a well developed story that I quickly became invested in the characters and seriously couldn’t wait to see where things headed. Looking forward to book two! I need more!

Torn: Deceptively dark and delicious. What an amazing conclusion to this story. I devoured every word, not wanting it to end. This book was full of intense filled scenes and scenes so hot my kindle was foggy. By far one of my favorite reads this year!

How do you know that a book is going to grab you tight and shake you? It is when you feel your heart broken and sore.
In this dark legacy Trilogy, the genius of Natasha's writing simply made me feel feelings I never thought I could feel.
The writing, the plot, the monologue, and the dialogue that takes place inside your heart and mind when you read the book are simply breathtaking.
I had to stop several times to breathe, to understand, I felt I was in a movie, sitting on the side watching the plot taking place in front of my eyes.
We meet Sebastian, Helena, and Gregory. Just imagines Sabastian my heart was pounding, the mysterious, possessive, strong figure that only when you look him in the eye you turn your head down. Moreover, beyond that, he shows compassion, love, sees the conflict and understands exactly where it comes from. A figure that on the one hand, you wants to crush to break and on the other hand embrace him like a little boy.
Helena is my woman, strong, brazen, and not afraid to fight, despite her weakness for Sebastian is ready for battle. What Helena is going through I do not think I was able to go through, especially after she finds painful things that torment her.
I cannot leave for a second. Natasha builds the story for us from chapter to chapter.
There were chapters that I had to Stop, Breathe, and come back. There were situations when I read sentences again.
The secrets, the lies, the saga between the two families Willow and Scafoni, Finally the light bursts out of the darkness.
Moreover, God, the story between Sebastien, Helena, and Gregory is only becoming more and more complicated. I will leave you reading - All I cannot say his HOT HOT HOT.
If I Speaking of emotion, love, pain, hate, Natasha knows how to write the hottest scenes.
Then we meet the story of Gregory and Helena. Who are you Gregory Scafoni? What secrets do you hide inside of you? Moreover, you Amelia what are the demons running around in your head?
Gregory The alpha character I met in the Taken and Torn intrigued me in an unusual way. I knew he was a broken and dark figure, painful and angry. On the other hand, the gesture he made to Sebastian and Helena proved to me that he also has a good, soft, understanding, and loving side. Then we have Amelia, Helena's sister, who is carrying demons on her shoulders.
Amelia has an amazing talent for painting, not just paintings. In addition, in order not to do a spoiler, you will have to read and understand for yourself.
What happens when one notebook falls into Gregory's hands, what are the lies and demons that come out of this notebook?
Gregory, who is still common to his feelings to Helena, understands that Helena is the only drive and the reason why he and Amelia connected to each other. That Amelia is actually the one he needs.
Amelia, who understands that Gregory sees her as her sister, does everything to irritate him and knows that she will be punished, but when she feels that she falls in love with Gregory she is willing to go all the way to prove to him that he feels the same way about her.
Gregory and Amelia want a Closure. The plot twists bring you as a reader to dark places, connect you to the wounded soul of the heroes, slowly the secrets revealed; gradually an amazing love built.
Gregory Slowly peeling off the dark layers, Amelia does everything to understand and reunite him into a whole person.
Two people with a broken heart, with an uneasy life, unite into one.
Natasha brings us amazing elements through them she connects the two heroes, gives us a closer circle between the two brothers and sisters.
I expected to see a cruel and abusive male figure but I accepted Gregory, as I wanted. Moreover, Amelia is not the quiet, frightened hero, she is a woman who knows what she's aiming at.
Twisted like the book name, its story that gets into your heart.
Two broken people, two families, twisted family history that actually binds them together. A slow healing process eventually leads to true love.
I suspect that this family story is not over. One figure I am still waiting to hear his voice. Ethan's story.
If you have already read Natasha's books, you know how she leads us to the right closure. Feel, experience, and finally breathe a sigh of relief. If you love dark romance, a good story, I ensure you cannot stop reading these books.
Thanks, Natasha for an amazing story that I strongly recommend.

I just love Natasha’s dark Romance books she draws me into her incredible work and this series I completely loved.

The first and second book is a duett story with Helena and Sebastian. Helena is super feisty and strong-headed. I like that she fights and questions the ridiculousness of this family burden. Sebastian may be the enemy, but his harsh ways are less evil than the sick ideals of his half-brothers. There was a whirlwind of emotions to their story that includes both… fear, anger, pride, curiosity, jealousy, anticipation, sadness, excitement, humiliation, lust, and finally love.

She balanced out the brothers so well-there were so many dynamics, that just made it so intresting that it’s hard to put the book down.

The third book is about Gregory ”Sebastian’s brother and Amelia ”Helena’s sister” Another Willow girl. I loved how Amelia challenged Gregory every step of the way and didint make it easy for him.

The night of the choosing, The Reaping, Helena was chosen, but that night changed all of the Willow Girl's, and Scafoni Men's lives. Helena had thought that she had ended the taking of the Willow Girl's, that she was the last, but Gregory wanted a Willow Girl all his own.

I wanted to hear Gregory’s story so bad especilly how it ended for him in the other two books.
I knew Gregory's story wasn't going to be all butterflies and flowers, we could all see from Taken & Torn that he was a damaged soul, but just how far that damage had reached nobody could have guessed He wants his own Willow Girl and sets his sights on Amelia, but maybe she won't be as resistant as he thinks... He soon finds out she has a dark desire to match his own

Lots of very spicy scenes in these ones. I wasn't personally enjoying the whipping and anger moments happening, but overall it was an ok series.

I loved these stories! The Dark Legacy Trilogy gives us a twisted society where the daughters of the Willow family are essentially put up for auction to be chosen by the men of the Scafoni family for their pleasure. Sebastian chooses Helena over her sisters, and so begins their strangely kinky relationship of sorts. Helena is now Sebastian's to do with as he will, and it's a real battle of wills between them. She's left feeling hopeless, but Sebastian has shown a different side to him. She just can't be sure whether he's the good guy in all this, and the rest of his family isn't much better at times. Book 2 is their conclusion, also dark and riveting, and Book 3 gives us Gregory's story. An awesome dark, thrilling romance series!

This book was my first dark book and it set the stage for all other dark romance books. This series is a must read for anyone that loves a good dark romance book!!! Natasha’s writing is genius in this trilogy about the history and curse of the Willow daughters and the Scafoni brothers. Helena and Sebastian’s story is not only full of twist and turns but also Hot Hot Hot, steamy Hot!!! The 3rd book in the trilogy is about Gregory, Sebastian’s brother and Amelia, Helena’s sister but just as good! All stories end in HEA.

This is so bad that I can't say enough bad things about it. It's just plain stupid. DNF

I was listening to audiobook version. Michael Pierce is like listening to a mechanical voice transcription recording. Usually it's bad female narrators on my list but Michael tops the list for me. He doesn't properly enunciate anything. Delivery is so mechanical and horrible. I found it hard to ignore.
