Mí humilde opinión:
Otro librito corto de mafiosos y gatos de MINK.
Me encantan las historias de esta autora pero realmente estoy extrañando su chispa Sus últimos libritos me dejaron poco contenta.
Siento que es más de lo mismo y está perdiendo la emoción para mí, espero al menos reírme y disfrutarlo. Si bien este era exagerado y tenía todo para ser algo bueno y divertido, no logró engancharme como esperaba. No paraba de sacudir la cabeza con Valentina entre otras cosas.
Valentina no me gustó, su personaje no me dijo nada. La tipa robaba no entendí por qué la manía y encima le termina enseñando a la hija, le decía que estaba mal robarle los demás excepto a su padre.
César era el alfa posesivo obsesivo pero fue horrible que le diera oral a Valentina mientras estaba dormida. Qué fue eso? Y el consentimiento? No importa que se sintieran atraídos el uno por el otro. Esa escena fue un NO para mí.
La historia tiene escenas sexo obscenas y violencia, obviamente siendo de mafiosos hay sangre y un poco de acción, ok, pero no llegó a gustarme tanto.
Los tres epílogos fue lo único que me gustó.

She is annoyed so she sometimes steals his jewels for fun. But little did she know he knows she does he makes sure he has jewels she can take since their already hers. Theirs a cat mouse game between the two. The tension is high and she teases Cesar and when he informs her changes is about to happen when she turns 21. Things go from 0 to 100!! I was kinda glad she stood up for that whole "I won't let my ducked up dead dad ruin my life and have me stay a Virgin to keep money" (even if she didn't know about that)

Loved this one! Essentially the big bad wolf is keeping the young girl for himself. Well, kinda. It was love at first sight for him so he’s keeping her safe from everyone else. The question is why? You know, besides for the fact that he loves her.
The very first page of this story had my intrigued. I was sucked in! I think you’ll enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed it!

Lovely dark little romance.
I can’t stop relishing this story. The big evil man who keeps the sassy young woman captive... and actually desires and protects her without her knowledge. It's so exciting!
Especially because this author puts her mark on it with a defiant heroine who steals from her captor and drives him crazy with her taunts, her escapades and her wilful attitude. Not to mention how many times she provokes his authority and his libido.
I had to laugh and smile a lot at the mouse reference, the kitten situation, the secret conspiracy behind her captivity, and I really enjoyed the mix of sweet, humorous, and criminal. It's so funny and exhilarating. I loved the evolution from luxurious prison break to secretly loving each other. So cute!

This book was just all right. It wasn’t as good as I thought or wanted it to be. I just kind of came off as meh and I spent a lot of the book just rolling my eyes at the plot line.

Cesar has Valentina under lock and key. Only her mother and he know why. Valentina tries to rebel by stealing things from Cesar and sneaking out. Cesar has her best interest at heart. When things come to light, it’s a steamy, alpha, OTT ride to their HEA.

I loved this author writing style, it's a short read but full of details , loved the main characters , the Attraction, the H was sex on legs 😊 , the h is so feisty but lovely, and instead of 1 epilogue mrs.M gave us 3 epilogues 👍

Cesar and Valentine's story filled with a caged heiress, for her own good and the captor who loves her. Some action, murder, a pickpocket and some hot cherry bursting love, makes for a great read. I so love when Mink writes these killer stories, lol. 4 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟

She steals from him. He follows her around and protects her from those who want her inheritance that her father left her. She gets mad at him for not letting her have freedom but he’s protecting her. Finally the truth reveals and her father said she can inherit it if she’s a virgin but in the end she ain’t and it is said that the money goes to Cesar but she’s also engaged to the dude who killed her father but the father was a cruel and terrible man and husband. But there’s a loophole and it says if she engaged the dude she lost her v card too they both can’t inherit it and it goes to his wife, Maria. This man kills for her like that time she went out w Jewels w the jewellery she stole from Cesar and pawned it and how he beat up the dude for being cheap and giving her $400 when it’s a half a million dollar piece of jewellery. Then later when she was eating w Jewels and he killed the dude who was wanting to kill her or had the intention to bro like that shit was so hot. I love how their daughter pickpocketed Cesar like I think he knew and jus let her. But I love how Valentina warned her not to steal from anyone it was so cute and funny. Her mother meets a new dude named Duncan Levine and Valentina’s water breaks mid story when she was pregnant with Violet idk how she thought it was pee. The end. Man was a little delulu but that’s ok.

What a beautiful masterpiece! This story has it all for Mink fans. A wonderfully twisted plot, ingenious characters, and enough passion to make your world explode. Ah this story felt like paradise to me. It was mysterious, dangerous, and yet filled with enough hope that it kept me hanging on to find out more. This is Mink at her finest!
I feel so hard for her marvelous characters because they are always so much more then I ever expect. She is a genius at making me love and fall for each new couple no matter the circumstances. I have to find out more, and then I hooked and completely done for. She has made my all-time favorite list with no trouble and in no time at all.
Whatever you do if you love romance and mystery and want more depth from your stories then you HAVE to pick up a Mink book. You will NEVER be disappointed, and you will always come back for so much more!!

okay so the only thing that really turned me off to this story was how annoying the heroine was, like i couldn’t even finish it. she just straight up reminded me of a child and i have no clue why she did all the annoying things she did, the Hero deserved better. it also really annoyed be how she thought she was so adult for literally loosing her virginity to show/prove she was in control of her whole life, like girl 💀 i wouldn’t have slept with anybody if it meant i had a chance of being a multi billion/millionaire, i thought that whole thing was so silly/stupid, like you couldn’t wait one damn day to inherit all this money??? it was a joke 🤣

Fun (steamy) quick read - Valentina & Caesar - He keeps her under lock and key 🔐 to protect her from the life she doesn’t know about, and she resents him for never letting her leave. What she doesn’t know is that her fathers life, before he passed, created many enemy’s and his fortune is still out there waiting for the day she comes of age. Every one else knows about the inheritance though and are willing to go great lengths to get to it, however Caesar removes any threats, sometimes with his bare hands. Blood stain and ruthless, Caesar only wants one thing, and that is Valentina, but he restrains himself so that she can make her own decision about what she wants to do in life. And right now, that’s steal Caesar’s sanity and taunt him whenever she can (and also, steal his shirts and sneak into his room because he just smells so good. Like cedar..)

Another Dark winner by Mink. I love her antiheroes. They are always so alpha and protective. Cesar and Valentina are absolutely made for each other!

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable.
Valentina is a cat burglar that isn’t very good at being discreet. Cesar has Valentina and her mother living with him. He wants Valentina but he is waiting to make his move.
The chemistry between Valentina and Cesar is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I thought they made a cute couple. I loved how protective Cesar was of Valentina.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

A seductive game of cat and mouse, this story will have you wanting to get caught by your very own Ceaser. Ceaser is intimidating and captivating but there is also has a hint of darkness there. He's in control and knows what he wants. Valentia is sly and smooth, sweet and shy, fun and spirited. These two might seem like opposites but they balance each other nicely. The action only adds to the heat and irresistible desire these two create. A very enjoyable story (and maybe my favorite from this author), this was just the read I needed to both lighten and heat up my day. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.

Lots of authors can give you romance or drama or scorchingly hot bedroom scenes, but not everyone can give you all that and infuse humor in their dialog and descriptions quite like Mink. I have read every release of Mink so far, and she has not had a miss yet! If you have not read anything by her, you are missing out on someone very special. I love Cesar and Valentina's journey in this book as there are so many twists and turns. Their romance though still drives a lot of the action and it is really enhanced by the fully fleshed out plot Mink gives them to work through. His Virgin Heiress is a high heat, safe read with a long time celibate hero, a virgin heroin, and no om/ow drama.

This was a great book! Cesar and Valentina were perfect for each other. Cesar has done anything and everything her could to keep Valentina safe. Valentina just wanted to be free from the "prison" that she was force to live in. Valentina did not know what awaited her until a few days before her 21st birthday when Cesar was force to tell her everything. Valentina is one sassy heroine while Cesar matches her with this "alpha-ness". I highly recommend this book and I can't wait to see what happens next.

This book was so cute. Valentina thought she was stealing from Cesar. But he left things for her to steal, as kind of “gifts” to the woman he’s loved for years. But Valentina has been sheltered and is unaware of the danger she’s in. Cesar has always protected her. And eliminated any threats. Until he can’t and the whole story comes out. Along with the reading of her Dad’s crazy will. But in the end Valentina finds love and a kitten.

I really liked Valentina and Cesar. I liked that Valentina seemed to get so much joy out of grabbing suff from Cesar and didn't know that he let her do it on purpose. I also liked that he was there to protect her from so many people and wanted her future to be in her hands. I liked that in the end Valentina was able to make her own choice. Valentina and Cesar were really great together and had great chemistry.

The story of Valentina and Ceaser is not what is seems. Valentina feels like she has been living in a castle with no way out. She doesnt know the real reason why she is kept hidden, why she is kept away from everyone. Ceaser has been protecting Valentina for a long time. He does what nerds to be done to protect her. Once secrets are revealed Valentina and Ceaser must decide is the risk better then the reward (Spoiler yes they are)
