Rate this book
Are you the parent of a cherished young child, and tired, possibly frustrated, and even doubting yourself—or them? Are you worried about their behaviour or feeling unsure of how to support them? What makes young children do the things they do? Will they ever grow out of it?

In 55 short, inspirational, and insightful entries, Bridgett Miller—teacher, remedial therapist, presenter, parent consultant, and parent herself—connects developmental science with heartfelt wisdom. She reminds us we have the power to shift our perspective, better understand young children (0-9 years) and, most importantly, deepen our connection with them.

These daily insights and affirmations could be just what you’re looking for to support your conscious parenting journey as you navigate the way using your head and your heart, towards becoming the parent you long to be.

Lots of great points! I appreciate the shorter chapters and the affirmations. It makes it easy to read and gives well thought out examples.

So great for parents who may be struggling with their autistic child's behavior or any child for that matter. It helped to refrain some of my intrusive thoughts and to see things from a different perspective. I highly recommend.

Such a beautiful book. Promotes our innate abilities to the the best parent for our children. And the best person for ourselves. It can be read at any order, I would call it the parenting bible.

This book feels essential. I love that it’s broken down into easy-to-read points if a few pages. Very easy to understand and use as a daily reminder of where to place our parenting focus.

I really like the parenting affirmation style as it gives a focus on what to work on
I will have to reread this often like the author Bridgett Miller states because it simply is a great book for parents. Chapter 6 I Need You To Understand Me is incredibly insightful.
