Justin Miller Jr. was a single father who had fallen on hard times. After losing everything, he doesn’t have time to wallow because he has a nine-year-old son to take care of. Just when he thinks things couldn’t get worse, they do. Leaving Justin to think of doing the unthinkable, until he runs into the one woman who got away.
Hope Porter is the youngest black woman to own a law firm in Tennessee. Not to mention, one of the best and sought-after divorce attorneys in the state. Even with all her success, her personal life has become monotonous and lonely. But one chance reunion, brings both drama and a chance at something she has been longing for in her life.
With just a little bit of hope, will these two find everything they need? Or will outside forces, drama, and their pasts cause them to lose hope altogether?
This was such a heartfelt story. It was realistic and relatable. Justin fell on hard times due to things out of his control. Cameron was his motivation and driving force to get his life back on track. Hope had enemies that she couldn’t even image trying to ruin her life. This story pulls at all your emotions. By the end, it shows that all you need is one chance to get it right and your life could change for ever.
Now this was drama and most of it stemmed from Marlena. Karma visited Marlena in a few ways and I was surprised at the end. Hope and Justin went through it individually and together, but there was hope and love that got them through it. That Thanksgiving dinner was one to remember 🤯😯🫢😂. I loved how Hope held it down and was always ready.
They had the right names in this story. I hoped this couple would find justice in their second chances romance. I adored this story and the couple. The family survived a sisters rivalry and tragedy. In the end, Hope found her peace, as did Justice.
Hope had to much going on for me. Her sister got what she deserved sorry not sorry! She had issues serious ones. Justin is bae! He did what he had to in order to protect his family. Outstanding job
This story had romance, suspense, family drama and so much more making it an amazing story. Hope and Justin went through so much to get to where they were in the end. My heart broke for Justin with everything he lost because of his careless father. I loved how dedicated he was to getting back on his feet for Cam. I'm happy Hope gave their love a second chance. Her sister was pure evil and I guess once the truth finally came out she didn't want to right her wrongs. I hate how thing happened for her, even with her evil and messy ways. This story needs to be made into a movie honestly!! I can't wait for the next story by this author!
This was a great read. I loved the fact that it was different this time it was about a single father who wasn't a drug dealer but just a hard working father down on his luck. I can't believe what lengths hope sister went just to make her life hell all because she got some.information. you hated your sister when all along it was you who your mama choes. Then you leave your son for a man who ain't worth a penny. Karma always comes back around. Great job as always storyline flowed well and book was so good without all the extra drug dealing strippers and kingpins
Loved this story... It flowed like water... Cam was such a good boy, and understood that Justice, was really trying to be a man and raise him.. Pretty smart for a little boy... Justice, thank god he ran into Hope, and got beat up... LOL Marlena,,, YES She got EVEYTHING she deserved, for being Jealous and every other Negative Adjective you could use. Terrance, so sleazy by every account.. Loved the fact that once they hashed out their orior problems, and the truth revealed, they got it together and quick.. Great Job again Annitia..
Just a Little bit of Hope Annitia L. Jackson Geesh, this really pulled at my heartstrings 😫. Having to pay a debt and have your son's life threatened because of it, Justin no longer knew if he was coming going. This was his lowest of his low. Poor Justin just couldn't catch a break. Being at his lowest, then backed into a corner was the best thing that could have happen to him. It was then that he ran into hope. It was then that he could finally see the sun shine. It was then that he could stop beating himself up about his situation. It was then... He had hope 5*
The title essays it all, Hope and second chances are to be given and once acceptance of that chance make to most of it. My fist book by this author and I will be reading more. I don't want to give it away but that sister was team way to much, and to just leave your son...hmmm. Great 👍
I love the man Justin was to everyone especially Hope and his son. He and truly deserves the happiness they have with each other and their kids. Marlena did some horrible unforgiving things but she didn't have to go out like that, that was selfish of her she didn't think about her kids.
I absolutely love this author, everything thing she writes I’ve read at least 3 times. I would have loved to see Marlena get some help and amend relationships with her family. Hope and her mom were so amazingly humble, also wanted to read more on Lorenzo but overall great read.
Sis you did that and then some. Since I found you i have NEVER been disappointed but hated when the dead ended but knew you would trade me with another masterpiece. PLEASE PLEASE keep turn these awesome, fabulous, more than a page turner out and I promise you I'll continue to read. Nothing but talent nothing but talent.
Man I love how it's a redemption story also since Justin felt like he was a failure with his things turned out for him after his father died but I love how with Hope he was able to find his way.
A good read that has some crazy twist and drama. Likeable characters that let outside sources almost ruin their happiness. The author has done a good job bringing this story together and I enjoyed it.
I love the story line and it was a great book. Took me on a very emotional journey with Justin because I understand that pain as parent and being homeless. I'm happy with the ending they deserve to be happy him and hope.
I love this story from The beginning to the end. I love the way Justin loved Hope they were perfect together. This story is a little different from what im use to reading but I must say it was 🔥🔥Annitia you did it with this one baby.
This is my first time reading this author and until I realized it was a novella, I thought it was rushed but then it was actually perfect. So a great book, a great story and perfect ending....
Can I have more just a little more I love them omg her first love! Her sister ughhh please don’t get me started 🤦🏽♀️ I loved this can’t wait for the rest of your novels to come out!
I choose foresters because of the simple fact that this book was way beyond five stars. I felt so bad for all of what he went through. I was so glad that Hope and Justin finally got back together. But, that witch of a sister was so damn evil. Karma is a bitch.
Hope has been through alot dealing with her sister and her Ex. I so Glad when she whoop Marlena hating self. Who Dee-Dee and Terrence thought they were. My heart went out to Justin and Cam. Beautiful work Annitia L. Jackson.
I had never heard of this author so I was skeptical about reading this. However, I was pleasantly surprised.loved the characters. That sister was something else. This was an enjoyable read.
It’s a small world when you find your first love again. I love how Justice takes care of Cam. This book shows you that sometimes you have to love your blood family from afar. Never a dull moment!,
I recommend this book to anyone. Pick it up and read it please.I did not want this book to end it was such a great read. The writing, the character development, and everything in between. 🔥🔥🔥
Yessss another great book from an amazing author👏👏👏..I really enjoyed this standalone..Storyline was very interesting and it was no doubt a page turner!!! I can feel the love they shared and it was very pure and definitely wonderful!!! Great job Annitia💕💕💕
Awesome story! It’s sad how blood relatives, a sister at that, will tear us down quicker than a stranger. Hope and Justin not only reunited but preserved and fought through the past hurt.
We all need a lil bit of Hope! I'm glad Justin and Hope got their second chance at love. Her sister was just a royal b!&@h, but jealousy is a nasty disease.
