When Tony signs up for the military's spouse matching program, he doesn't expect to get paired with a woman who already rejected him. Tony has never been a quitter though, and now that his future with Officer Candidate School is being threatened by his CO, he's more determined than ever to survive being married to Inara for a year. Of course, it doesn't hurt that she's beautiful, sexy, and mind-blowingly amazing. Inara has her own reasons for signing up for the program, but everything she ever thought she wanted contrasts with the man that science has paired her with. Inara wanted to make this marriage last for the rest of her life - once and done for her unlike several of her mother's failed marriages. Tony makes it downright hard, and with both unwilling to budge on the secrets and truths they keep close to them, their marriage lasting even a month is questionable. But against all odds, Tony and Inara fall into a pattern and grow comfortable with each other, which eventually turns to love. Just when everything seems to be falling in line and Tony and Inara realize they may be in this for good, someone oversteps the unspoken boundaries, and a blowup in front of Tony's CO leaves Tony's career in the toilet and their relationship devastated, perhaps, beyond repair.

I really enjoyed the characters of Tony and Inara, despite Tony being a bit of a jerk near the end of the book (hello, conflict). They were both funny and amazing in their own ways. And the dynamic that developed between the two worked really well with naturally furthering their romance without it coming across as unnatural or rushed. Of course, they are already married, but that's beside the point. The fact that Inara was more experienced than Tony in the bedroom was also hysterical, considering how much game he always talks with the women and flirting with basically anything that moves. The traumas that exist in both Tony and Inara were also really well done and seemingly brought them together and made them better partners. They struggled to work through their issues, but in the end, they were able to accept themselves and who they were and get their happily ever after. The plotline of the arranged marriages based on compatibility by the military was also pretty original and I think it made the book a lot more interesting to read since Tony and Inara originally thought they didn't match together very well.

If you enjoy strong couples, military men, or arranged marriages, you'll enjoy this book. And even if you don't, the romance between Tony and Inara was great and their interactions with side characters were always funny.

The premise of this book was really rather silly. The idea is that the military has a program to match up members with someone whom they will marry. So a Navy Seal, Tony decides to get married after a particularly brutal assignment. He fills out the form and lo and behold he gets matched up with the best friend of his best friend, Inara. Except that they had met before and he’d hit on her while they were in the hospital waiting to see if her friend would recover from an attack. Understandably, she shot him down. And now they’re matched.

Okay, who believes that the military has this matching service? Who believes that the matched couple would jump into marriage right away instead of dating for a while first? Who believes that Tony’s admission to Officer Training School would hinge on his ability to make his marriage last a year? Who believes that Inara would agree to marry this guy whom she starts off as regarding as such a doofus?

Of course, they do get married right away. Then they hold off on sex for a shot while. Then it all follows a rather predictable path as each finds out that there is more to the other than they first realized. I just didn’t enjoy their relationship enough to ignore all the unbelievable parts.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from the publisher; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

A view months back I read ‘Issued’, the first book in the Navy Seals of Little Creek series. I definitely enjoyed that book so when I got the opportunity to read the next book in the series I just couldn’t resist.

In ‘Matched’ we meet Navy SEAL Anthony Martinez a.k.a. Tony. Tony is known for his flirting with many woman, and his goofy ways. Tony is definitely not one you would call serious. So when Inara Ramirez decides to sign up for the military's spouse matching program, the guy she would have thought to be signed up with was definitely not Tony. But they sure are chosen to get married. All Inara wants is to find love, and she isn’t doing a good job at it herself, so this ‘chosen’ marriage is something she really wants to work out. But Tony has only planned to be married a year, just so his boss can see he can stick to something and be ‘serious’.

When I first started reading about Inara and Tony I just couldn’t place these two characters together. Tony just seemed to be this shallow, womanizing guy and Inara really wanted to find herself someone to start a family with. They just didn’t seem to match at all, and I had some trouble really getting into their story. Especially as things start only minutes before they got ‘married’.

But fortunately we slowly get to learn more about Tony, right alongside Inara. And we soon get to see there is so much more to his character than he lets people see. And I began to love him. I loved how shy and even insecure he got about Inara, when he realized how much he really liked her. It was just so cute.

Inara’s character was feisty and I enjoyed reading about her. She was tough as nails and just didn’t want to have another relationship fail again. So she did something not many other woman would do. She decided to forget her own choices in love, and to go with a scientific program that choose the perfect guy for her. And I loved how strong she stayed even when she saw who the program picked for her.

‘Matched’ was definitely an enjoyable read. What I did miss where the ‘suspense’ moments the first book did have. And at times things did feel a little rushed and sudden. But overall this was a fun read.

Matched by Paris Wynters was a surprisingly complex book with layers of emotion. I thought at first it was an ageplay book based on the subtitle Navy Seals of Littel Creek- but this is definitely not. We have some tortured individuals in this book who go through a lot in a relatively short period of time. Quote a bit of angst.

I listened to the audiobook version of this book. The male actor was stilted at times and it was a bit distracting. The first audiobook in this series was great, but because of the male voice actor on this one, I can only give it a 3 stars.

Matched by Paris Wynters the second book in the Navy Seals of Little Creek series. The character development for Matched was perfect for the storyline. The story kept me intrigued the whole time I was reading it. I look forward to see what the next book brings us.

Enjoyed this book a lot. This book had a little different vibe to it when I started reading it. I found my self laughing out loud at the antics of Tony & the shock from Inara when she realized that she had been matched to Tony in the Military program to find a husband/wife. Inara’s wit & sarcasm kept Tony on his toes & Tony’s charming, flirting manner kept Inara in a constant state of need. I really didn’t think this book was going to get past the fun & sexy part but then the angst set in as Inara & Taya go on a search & rescue mission while a hurricane is battering them & the guys are away at training. It was wonderful to see cocky Tony so beside himself with fear of losing Inara. I found my emotions all over the place reading their story & enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t wait to read the next book. Definitely recommend this book & series. I voluntarily reviewed this book from Tule publishing for an honest review.

I received this arc from Tule Publishing in exchange for an honest review. This is book 2 in the Navy Seals of Little Creek series. We met the main characters Tony and Inara in book one. Inara works as a hostess at the restaurant bar Shaken and Stirred and she volunteers for search and rescue, both with her friend Taya. Tony is a Navy Seal, in the same group of friends as Jim and their fellow seals. Tony wants to go to Officer Candidate’s School and signs up for the military’s spouse matching program in hopes it will help him get in. Inara signed up for the program after seeing how well it worked for Jim and Taya. Her mother has been married and divorced multiple times and she doesn’t want to go through the heartbreak. She decided to let the system pick out her spouse. Neither Tony or Inara were happy To learn they had been paired up since they weren’t thrilled about the other to start with. Inara had been hit on by Tony in the past and she found him cocky.

Tony moves into Inara’s apartment in Virginia Beach after they marry and is initially given the couch in the living room for his bed. He wants to remain in the marriage for the minimum year, have the marriage annulled and head off to OCS. Inara planned to be married once and have kids and a happy union. She decides to stick with Tony and try to make the marriage work. She doesn’t know at first his plan to get out after a year. She thinks her best plan is to get to know Tony better before having sex right away. The two cook together and talk to try to get on a comfortable footing.

Inara didn’t realize what it would be like when Tony went on trading exercises for weeks. He also wasn’t aware of what her search and rescues entailed so both were in for surprises. Besides Taya, Marge was another wife of a teammate who had been in the group for a very long time. She took the others under her wing.

The couple have some steamy sexual encounters and we learn that Tony is less experienced than he pretends to be. Inara is the more experienced lover and their relationship is interesting to see. They open up about their families as they get closer and we see both have experienced some sadness and loss in their past. Tony is still working through his issues with his dad. There is a lot of angst and release of feelings in the book. It is a terrific book and series. I really enjoy Ms. Wynters writing style and look forward to more books by her.

I really enjoyed Inara and Tony’s journey in Matched by Paris Wynters, book two in her Navy Seals of Little Creek series. This is a story of two lonely people looking for different things as they are matched to be married in the military’s new spouse-matching program. Returning from a dangerous mission, Navy Seal Anthony Martinez realizes he has no one to call and let know he’s home; unlike his teammates. This loneliness is the catalyst for his signing up for the military’s spouse matching program without his Commanding Officer’s approval. Nothing has ever been easy for Tony. He’s matched to a woman who he’s already struck out with. When his CO threatens his dreams of attending Officer Candidate School, Tony has only one option; make this marriage a success. Inara Ramirez has always wanted love and a family, but so far she has only found jerks. Her mother is a serial divorcee, which Inara refuses to allow herself to be; she wants one marriage, forever. When Inara discovers the identity of her new husband she suspects she’s being punked, anyone but him. Tony’s plan is to be married for only a year, especially if this gets him into OCS. As these two get to truly know one another they are finding that this matchmaking program might just have created the perfect match.

I loved Inara from the beginning. She was a hard worker with a passion for search and rescue as well as helping one of her former step-fathers re-build or re-store damaged houses. It took a while for me to warm up to Tony. He’s a jokester, flirt, and quite cocky. Once I learned more about his family and past some of Tony’s baggage started to make sense. Inara and Tony really were matched perfectly.

Ms. Wynters wrote a passionate and emotional story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with chemistry, intense conversations, and endearing characters giving Inara and Tony a chance for a future together. I highly recommend Matched to other readers.

Another couple with great chemistry in this series. I’m still not buying the Issued Partner Program (IPP), but this is a work of fiction and I cannot deny it is a great premise for storytelling.

Not only do Inara and Tony have wonderful chemistry, there is also a distribution of so-called power in the bedroom between the two that is different. Rarely do we see the woman as the more adventurous and experienced partner without it being some sort of shame or embarrassment. I absolutely love how Inara does not fear embracing her sexuality and showing Tony what she wants, needs, and likes. Here’s a thought from Tony’s mind that really made me fall in love with him…”What difference does it make if I’m less experienced when I have a sensual goddess like Inara to she me the light?” I mean, c’mon. He’s not only not threatened by her prowess, he’s excited to learn from her. Amazing!

The downfall to having a tough exterior is that people don’t always realize that your feelings can be hurt, too. Tony and Inara have some feeling out to do in their relationship, and keep a few too many things close to the vest in fear of getting hurt. Tony comes across as the class clown, using humor to hide his emotions, while Inara shoves her emotions down so many think she’s unfeeling. While I was expecting Tony’s reaction to something Inara kept from him, I wasn’t quite prepared for how badly it hurt them both. And how mad I would be at the two of them for how things played out.

I’m all-in with this series and can only hope Bear’s daughter is going to hop aboard the IPP train. That would be wonderfully fun to read.

‘Matched‘ is the second title in the ‘Navy SEALs of Little Creek‘ series about an unusual matchmaking/marriage on the spot program and the couples who may (hopefully) end up with a lifetime love just for taking a chance.

We met Tony and Inara before in ‘Issued‘ so they have a bit of history (not exactly the great kind) when they are matched up as marriage partners for the program… they aren’t exactly strangers when they meet again, but not the best of friends either.

I liked them both, for different reasons. On the surface, they don’t really seem to match up, but over time as we get to know the real Tony and Inara the connections between them become obvious, and perhaps even stronger. Inara’s wit and sarcasm – Tony’s self-awareness and loneliness – those factors hit buttons for me. I love it when an author can show me two sides to a person. The one that the world sees at first glance, and then the person they really are at their core. That’s how I felt about ‘Matched‘.

If you love digging deeper into a character if a flirty relationship is fun but a seriously falling in love one is even better then you’ll enjoy Tony and Inara’s journey to a lifetime in ‘Matched‘.

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest a review. Another disclaimer? I would have not only bought it but given it 5 stars anyway, because Matched delivers everything I love in a romance. Characters with realness, vulnerabilities, all the twisty things in their pasts that makes them who they are. What a great story! All the feels! From the opening scene, the conflict is up close and personal, the tension builds immediately, and the characters clash spectacularly. Tony is the dashing Navy SEAL who used a cheesy pickup line on Inara before, and she dismissed him as a big hunk of irritation. After they’re stuck in a marriage neither counted on, we get to watch them bristle each other’s nerves, then slowly but surely fall for each other as they realize they are much deeper than previously thought. The author is great at building sexual tension and leaving the reader wanting more, for j-u-s-t long enough, and delivering non-cookie-cutter sex scenes. She tosses in a few surprises along the way, which add to each character’s sexiness and also to the tension between the two. Underneath it all, Tony isn’t the overgrown child he pretends to be, and Inara is much more forgiving than Tony counted on. He’s a true gentleman, and Inara is the woman he knows he needs but won’t admit. Until the very satisfying ending. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

This is book two in the Navy SEALs of Little Creek series. It’s Tony an Inara’s story. I enjoyed it and I’ll be keeping my eye out for the next book in the series. This book had funny and emotional parts. It does read as a standalone. I haven’t read the first book in the series and I didn’t feel lost or like I was missing part of the story. I will be going back to grab the first book in the series.

Tony and Inara both sign up for the military’s new spouse matching program. The program uses an algorithm and matches couples based on compatibility to each other. They’re both surprised when they are chosen for each other. Tony hit on her when her best friend was in the hospital (book one) using cheesy lines on her when she shot him down, she saw him not even 15 minutes later using those same cheesy lines on a nurse. Tony signs up in a moment of loneliness and Inara does it because she doesn’t trust her ability to pick guys and doesn’t want to end up like her mom who has been married and divorced multiple times. Now they have a year to try and make it work. Tony’s career is riding on it but he’s planning on bailing after a year. Inara wants to make it work. Can they figure things out and find happiness together? Or will they cut their losses and walk away?

This was a different type of read for me. I love reading books about our military. With that being said, I have never read a book about a spouse matching program for the military. Paris Wynters does a good job with this unique storyline. This is the second book of Navy Seals of Little Creek, and this is This is the second book of Navy Seals of Little Creek, and Inara and Tony’s story. Their characters are introduced in book 1.

This was a delightful story of a spouse matching program. Inara and Tony had different reasons for joining the program and different outcomes they would like to achieve. I fell in love with Inara’s character and how hard she worked with search and rescue. Her dream was to only be married once and have children. She plans on getting to know Tony and trying to make it work.

Tony has high expectations, and he will do what is necessary to fulfill those goals. However, his reason for joining the spouse matching program isn’t to find a wife who he can spend the rest of his life with. He is hoping that the relationship will last at least a year to help him achieve his desire to get into the OCS program. Will their match be one that was meant to be? Will they see that their relationship could be a potential for something more?

I received this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review.
The second book in this series and I found myself liking the story better in this one than the first. The characters are also from the first book and yet they worked for me. Anthony Martinez has signed up in the program without his commanding officer’s approval. Receiving his wrath is nothing for him for he is used to getting yelled at. What he is not used to is failing and he feels in order to be accepted into officer school he needs to be married. The program has matched him with the woman he has struck out with more than a few times, Inara Ramirez.
Inara cannot believe the paperwork and feels that someone must be playing a trick on her. Yet there he stands her nemesis Anthony Martinez or Tony who from the last story only gave her grief. Why does he have to be so good looking? She decides to make the marriage work regardless of Tony’s outlook of only a year top. This story has everything, funny moments, sad ones, arguing, love scenes, and even moments that are inappropriate you think but not if you are married. She must work with him to help him get past his fears of commitment to another person. This is a really good story and well worth the read. I received this book from Tule Publishing Follow us at

I have to say when I picked this book to read it was from the blurb because I have 5 brothers all in the military and all who married. I thought wow what a novel concept. I bet this would work, especially for those who are stationed overseas like two of my siblings were for many long stunts. I enjoyed this book but several times I found myself stopping and asking my husband to translate phrases. Of course, I am married to a Mexican American who was happy to do so for me. Tony is a Navy Seal who wants to move up and knows being married will help that happen faster. Taya is a hostess at a restaurant bar Shaken and Stirred and she is a volunteer search and rescue personnel. She signs up after her best friend is matched up and it works out. So she followed in her friend's footsteps never realizing she would get hooked up with the one person she could not stand. Well, the government said he was her match and she needed the help paying the rent since the new owners doubled it so, in for a penny in for a pound. She was in for the long haul but Tony.... not so much. This book was one of those things are never what they seem and don't judge a book by their cover kinda reads. I would suggest reading the first book in this series. For me it helped me understand the ins and outs of everything. I am looking forward to more from this series.

This series and the story lines with these couples are getting better and better and we just on Book 2! This latino couple(Tony and Inara) really were a joy to read. They had a very rocky start and It took some time and questionable sexual chemistry between the two but both were willing to make their matched marriage work. The reasons both wanted the marriage started of completely different but were similar toward the end. I really must say I was so surprised with the way the author brought forth the sexual differences between the couple and how real she made it. Its been a long time since I read anything that didn't have the couples sex escapades be earth shattering and the best they ever had...this was soooo different than that and it was refreshing to read something more realistic. Inara was patient and Tony(the big alpha SEAL) was eager to learn and please. Trust was tested many of times with some betrayals between them. Soul searching found the couple realizing they needed and wanted each other...be a family.and have that HEA . I really loved this story and I'm excited to continue on with the series...more SEALS need love too!

Tony Martinez is a Navy SEAL who wants to go to Officer Candidate’s School and signs up for the military’s spouse matching program to give him a better chance of getting in. For Inara Ramirez, she had watched her mother’s marriage failures and decided to sign up for the program when friends were matched so successfully. The scientific approach seemed to work. But when she is matched to the arrogant Tony, she is not happy about it. Nor is Tony happy with getting matched with Inara, although he doesn’t plan to stay in the marriage for more than the year requirement anyway. It’s just to make him look stable and responsible for OCS.

But as the two of them spend time together, talking and really getting to know each other, living together as a couple, a good foundation starts to form and their relationship becomes more stable. Inara wants love and a family. Will Tony want to make his marriage real and keep her in it to share their dreams together?

This was a good story as the reader also gets to know the characters and understand some of their actions. Grab your copy and share their story.

This is the second book in the Navy Seals of Little Creek, a modern mail order bride and slow burn romance. I love these Series with intertwined characters. You can read it as a standalone, but I recommend you to read this Series in order. Anthony (Tony) and Inara's story is well written, funny, beautiful, and intriguing, filled with misunderstandings, and a lack of communication. I loved to follow them in their journey. Inara is sassy, strong, supportive, and determined. Tony is flirty, funny, handsome, and secretive. I like the humorous banter between them. The scenes when Tony is cooking are my favorites! They have been matched by the military’s science-based spouse matching program, and this program is right! They are perfect together. I love the heartwarming and beautiful ending! The Epilogue is perfect. The supporting characters are great, and I loved to see again Taya, and Jim. I like the friendship and brotherhood in this Series. I love this Series. I am looking forward to read the next book in the Series! #caffeinatedpr

Matched for marriage with a navy SEAL was going to be the new life for Inara. She had signed up for the military Issued Partner Program and she was assigned Anthony Martinez. She knew Tony as he was on the same team as her best friend, Taya's husband, Jim. Inara and Tony had never gotten along particularly well in the past, but Tony had to follow through with his commitment to stay in the military, plus stand a chance to get into Officer Candidate School. Inara had her own reasons for signing up. They decided, they were ready for this adventure, and they were more compatible than they first believed especially sexually, but Inara wanted to be sure their foundation was stronger than sex. They faced many challenges in the beginning, some major and some small, there was one that almost wrecked everything. You will feel every emotion as you read this book, but you will be unable to put it down until you finish.

This was an interesting story premise and made for an interesting story. This book, and the rest of this series, is about a military matchmaking program. Inara and Tony are matched but, having met before, don’t think they are a match that’s going to work. Tony doesn’t so relationships because of his heartache from losing his mom, but he’s training to get into Officer Candidate School and thinks this will help with that. Inara wants a husband and family but because of her relationship history and her mother’s frequent divorces, she doesn’t trust her taste in men.

I liked these two together. I enjoyed reading a out their relationship and experience them develop deeper feeling. There are some very steamy scenes in this book that are well written. It’s not a smooth journey for these two because of past issues that neither have properly dealt with. There is a strain on their marriage and things fall apart pretty spectacularly. Read their story to find out if they will find their HEA.

This is the second book in this fun series where SEALS are matched in the new military spouse matching program the only commitment is that they have to stay together for a year before they can go their separate ways We met both Tony and Inara in the first book in the series he is team mate of Jim while Inara works in the bar that the team hangs out in. Tony and Inara have never really hit it off so imagine their horror when they discover thy have been matched with one another. Tony needs to make this work or he will not be allowed to attend Officer School while Inara wants a family and to not become a serial divorcee like her mother. As they both start to work trying to form a commitment to one another things often go wrong as they react to one another but at the same time something is starting to build between them could the program have actually got it wight and are they perfect for one another

Tony is a Navy SEAL who realizes that he has no one after a difficult & dangerous mission, so he decides to skip permission from his CO to sign up for the military's spouse matched program.  Fate steps in when he's matched to Inara, a woman who shot him down after he hit on her, so you already know that it's going to be a fun journey.  Now it's too late to fix it because his CO told him he had to stay married for a year or else, so off they go.  I'm a military vet so this program was quite the stretch, and yet, it was fun with a very original vibe.  They have chemistry, but they're definitely opposites about their feelings because he uses humor as armor, while she stuffs everything down deep and yet, somehow they work once they get over the hangups at the beginning. At the end of that year will they actually have a bright future together?!  Hit those one click buttons to find out!  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great imagination on the marriage story line between Tony and Inara, their romance and HEA. The marriage idea of signing up for a military program and getting issued a spouse is far fetched at best, but as long as the idea does not trip you up, you will enjoy the book and the writing style of the author.

Inara is a strong, hardworking, capable and sensible woman while Tony is the jokester, the comedian that hides who he is and his feelings behind the jokes and flirting.

The author did an amazing job highlighting and describing the emotions, interactions and feelings between Inara and Tony and their growing attraction to each other. The characters are well developed and likable and the interactions with funny moments were just the right amount to reflect the true relationships and friendships. I enjoyed this book can't wait to read more by this author.

First impressions can leave a lasting impact! Which is why, Inara was so shocked to find out who the military had paired her with for the spouse-matching program. Why would they think that Tony Martinez would be her ideal match! Wynters does a great job at detailing why Inara and Tony opted to sign up for this program and how along the way their reasons no longer seemed important as they learn more about each other. They realize first appearances can be deceiving; however, not all is sunshine and roses as they come to terms with issues from their pasts that define who they are now. This is an enjoyable second book in this series and Inara and Tony are a passionate couple, quick to laugh, quick to anger, but quick to care and love the other. Tony wants to go into the OCS, Officers Candidate School so he enters into the IPP, Issued Partners Program with is CO's, Commanding Officer, blessing. They match him with a Inara a women who he flirted with and was shot down. So when they realize who they were married to it was tough, but his CO told him he had to make it work. When neither wanted the other but Inara wants a marriage and children she puts some effort into the marriage and they learn things about each other. She thought he was a big flirt and ladies man, but she was more experienced than him. I thought it was a good story and some of the concept were out there, but they might work. The characters you grew to love and wanted them to succeed. Great book. I enjoyed the story.
