Cuando el gerente del restaurante más elegante de la ciudad comienza a recibir amenazas de muerte, me asignan para que lo revise. Pero ella está más preocupada por el restaurante que administra que por su propia seguridad.

Por suerte para ella, estoy vigilando el lugar, porque supe desde el momento en que puse los ojos en sus curvas que haría cualquier cosa para protegerla.

Olivia

Es la primera vez que administro el restaurante por mi cuenta, así que cuando me deslizan una amenaza de muerte escrita a mano por debajo de la puerta de mi oficina, lo único en lo que puedo pensar es en el escándalo que provocará. Si tan sólo no hubieran enviado al corpulento oficial Flint a vigilar el lugar.

Es una distracción para mi clientela famosa y, lo peor de todo, una distracción para mí.

Necesito que retroceda, pero no puedo dejar de pensar en él apoyándome contra la pared...

Olivia is managing the restaurant for the first time alone while the managers are away. She finds a threatening not pushed under her door. She's scared and calls the police. They send Flint out to investigate. She's scared that a policeman will scare away the VIP clientele so she tells Flint she's changed her mind about the investigation, Problem is he's already marked her as being his and he's not letting anything happen to her on his watch. Insta love at it's best. Some suspense, drama, passion and some steam. Love the characters and their interaction with each other. Does he catch the person who's threatening Olivia? Olivia has just been promoted to manager of the restaurant where she works. Unfortunately, she's also acquired a stalker. A call to the police brings Flint to her door. Handsome, big, sexy Flint. He is immediately fascinated with Olivia, immediately protective. But Olivia is scared: scared to take the threats against her seriously, scared of how her bosses will react when they return from their trip. Flint is determined, though, to protect Olivia in spite of herself. They grow closer, and when the stalker finally makes his move, Flint is ready!
This is a short read, but delightful! It's makes for the perfect break in the daily grind. Another great addition to the Alpha Cops series!

An entertaining fast pace read! It is well written, well developed, emotionally deep, and consistent with drama, suspense, danger, and more. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts! Definitely recommended!

Short novella with a good connection between the characters. I like that they are friendly and both respect one another and the work they do. The storyline has a bit of suspense which just blends well with the romance portion. Great ending for their HEA.
