3.5 Thought it would have more details on adhd but its just surface knowledge. For most part i thought Krishnav just acted like normal children since all the kids his age have similar behavior but i could certainly tell some subtle difference in behaviour patterns. I loved chapter 6 where the older sister wrote her side and how she felt, could totally feel her. About the emotional engineering thing (basically emotional manipulation) that didn't quite sit right with me but different people have different ways of raising their children so can't say anything. Got to learn about some new things and i certainly still need more knowledge about the topic. I liked Krishnav's development through the years and reading his end note i can certainly tell how much of a pure soul he is as described in the book. Could have focused on more other aspects of his life other than education like emotional bonding, friendship, etc but considering dyslexia was the main topic it makes sense ig.
'I'm Thoughting' by PH Acharya is an excellent book that sheds light on the needs of special child and motivate the readers to handle the life-challenges by facing them bravely. Through her own life experiences, author spills the beans of wisdom and learnings to be accepted by the parents in order to raise their special one with extra attention and due care.
This practical guide works as a one-stop solution for all your needs as a parent of an special child. I like the way, she addresses the different disorders among childrens and difficulties faced by them compare to normal people in their daily lives.
Overall, I found this book helpful in navigating the challenges related to raising a abnormal special child with certain disabilities. At last, I would like to recommend this book to all the parents and educators.
Excellent and very frank. Only advise to put first time occurring acronyms in their full form, as is in all medical journals. KIU, young lady, with both hands equally shared.
Already added in the remarks. Will sure recommend it to all friends and acquaintances. Expect more books from your hands.
