I have to admit I was only able to get through the majority of the first and maybe two chapters of the second, for it just could not keep my interest for long enough to finish reading. Right of the bat, the books start off similarly to a child’s bedtime story, which is not a great start for any book that isn’t for said audience. The characters were meh and the plot line was…well, it was so forgettable I probably couldn’t even tell you. I suppose this book would be alright for a relatively young audience that is just starting to get into Norse mythology, but for anyone over the age of 12, I personally wouldn’t recommend. Perhaps it gets better after the second book, but I wouldn’t know since I had no desire to continue after the first two train-wrecks. As for the author, I can’t help but feel like her story had so much potential, and that if the book had been longer, less focused on the characters and a bit more developed, it could have been a fairly decent read overall.

I couldn't really relate to the characters. I could only relate to Elan the Dragon (but maybe because i had a cat named Elan. And still love that name).❤

I was drawn into the world quite quickly. World building was not what i thought it would be. So thank you for writing! ❤

Great reading for anyone loving Norse mythology and adventure

Adventure right from the beginning involving a fight against bullies and a commitment to get rid of injustice and prejudices. Friendship, trust and understanding makes this series a worthwhile reading let alone all the intriguing characters and action contained within every book. I look forward to the next instalment of the series which I think is wonderful reading for anyone loving a brilliant fantastic adventure.

This 5 book set made me wonder why the author chose to make this 5 short books, instead of a longer one. I read all in 2 days. That being said, the story and writing style were entertaining, and the pages turned fast. The books are now obvious to me as more directed to young readers. There are good messages in it, mostly dealing with bullies, and persecution. I enjoyed reading it!

Pretty good

These are short books, so don't expect full novels. A very interesting story about Valkyries, Gods, Angels of Death, and dragons. Also about changing the status quo as it is known.

One wingless Valkyrie has an obsession to help the Winged fight for freedom and gets his friends and Dragons and magic involved. Fantastic story.

Located In quite familiar surroundings, the tale is different and with numerous very unexpected turns... Made excellent reading of a warm Dragon tale with magic and intrigue but with new and fresh directions... Read it!!

The books are very short, which keeps the character development to a minimum. But the books keep your interest. I won't continue the series, I like to know the characters that I read about.

Katrina Cope makes her characters come alive wth wing less galleries like Kara and the dragons. Kara is a badass valkyrie who is fearless and a strong one in this story with her Dragon

Valkyrie Academy

Very cute and simple story. My biggest complaint with this box set is that it implies a set of 5 books. Each book is so short that it takes all 5 to make 1 book.
