A thank you to Katrina Cope for sending me the final of this series❤. I didn't read it right away. Because of some nausea with a baby still growing inside my belly. 🤣🙈 but i finally finisched the series!!
The final 5 books in this lovely series. I enjoyed reading the twists and turns, reading Norse mythology with a new twist. The take on magic and how it works is interesting and well presented in a way that flow through the story.
The main character has grown through this series as have her friends Valkyrie and dragon. It's a Lovely, fast YA read and I recommend it to you all.
And i loved the happy Ending!!
I hope in the futher to read more of Katrina Cope!
Like most books as of late you have a long build up and then it's like the publishers get too excited at making money from a new book that they force the author to use 2 to 3 chapters to end the book versus the needed 7+ chapters.
The rushed ending of cramming so much info and trying to wrap up multiple story lines is getting very boring and ruins a good book or series.
Now for the current ending, it was not bad even though it was rushed ( I know every author is trying for that page turning book).
I will read the next books in the overall series but right now I have a hard time recommending the series for purchase.
Wingless Valkyrie Kara and her friends and dragons win their right to fight for Asgard
Kara and her gold dragon Elan lead the fight of wingless Valkyrie to have the right to reap souls and fight for Asgard. Kara is joined by friends that want to ride dragons and fight to keep them from being used for target practice. Together they and their dragons draw winged Valkyrie, dragons, and the dark winged ones that gather souls into one reluctant fighting force to protect Asgard from an unexpected enemy. And it is a fight to the death!
Great characters that you will love good world building the story was well written but the ending although everybody came together it was very short on goodbyes and she didn't get to tell the dragons the good news should have elaborated a little more at the end I read ya so I don't have to worry about bad language or inappropriate sexual situations because I'm a Christian I'm 55 years old but still enjoyed this story it was a little on the young side but still a good read even for an adult
I didn't even finish this book. I suffered through books 1 through 6, hopeful and praying that the book series would get better as I read. I was disappointed. These books read as if they were written by a middle schooler. There is no real development of the main character in the series and I didn't enjoy these books. I'm honestly grateful I stopped reading it because now I can move on to something else I'll actually enjoy.
Found the story very hard to put down otherwise I would have been reading all night and enjoyed the flow of action and characters. This story line seems to be a precursor to many other authors and stories about dragons and the riders I been reading about over the years. Great job!
Warning on whole series... Don't expect to sleep much until you finish the stories.
Thank Katrina Cope for the length of each story! Each felt far too short with each read. And I was waypp too anxious with each switch to pause and write my review.
This is a great series for young adults, plenty of adventures and action for anyone. Valkyries Dragons and all the interesting characters keep you reading to find out how it ends.
I highly recommend this epic boxed set of 6-10, as well as the 1st boxed set 1-5, to readers who love reading a new spin on the Norse mythology. This is a unique point of view of the wingless Valkyries and Dragons instead of the gods point of view.
Read all of the series at one time. Could not stop reading. All books pi ked up where they left off. Nice protagonist antagonist characters. Great read. Purchase the entire set. You will not regret it.
