Moonshine, mischief and scheming witches
I love when love is the answer. After 400+ years on the run, Jane finally seeks comfort and solace among her own kind, and the humans there. And, of course, you can’t always help who you fall in love with...
And Galen... well Galen is an athletic human doctor who just recently happened to move to town because Zoey thought he needed to be there.
The sparks between these two are both figurative and literal, and their story was just what I wanted. By turns there’s love, action, ancient curses, Cleopatra’s bestie, happiness, fear, and even more love.

To think she didn't think she (Kathleen Brooks) could do another book in the series...WRONG! This book was great!! Such a change from her normal books. I am not a paranormal type reader but this series is so worth it! This story brings us back to Moonshine Hallow where we are introduced to Jane who is a hunted witch. We also meet Galen who is the new doctor in town. Much like Kaleb and Zoey's story theirs has a special meaning and brings others together for a unique purpose. I cannot wait to read the next one

This is a great story about a man learning his family history and a women finding her True love. But there’s a evil man want to hurt Jane Farrington & get something from her. Will Doctor Galen Sinclair be able to protect Jane and will there grow strong to defeat the evil man or will the evil man hurt Jane and take what’s important from Jane this is a must read to see if True Love Concords all

Back to Moonshine Hollow
I love Moonshine Hollow and the humans and witches that live there. In this book, Brooks continues the story of Slade and Zoey adding Jane and Galen as the newest residents of this special town. Jane has a secret and she is terrified to share it. This story continues the story started in Moonshine and Murder and leaves the door open for another book in this fun series. Not her normal genre, Brooks has entertained her readers with her take on paranormal romantic suspense with this series. Highly recommend.

Wow this fourth book in the Moonshine Hollow series was absolutely amazing! I went through a number of emotions reading it and it left me exhausted but sated. Looking forward to what Ms Brooks has in store for us next. It is bound to be epic according to what happened in the last chapters! Thank you for another wonderful journey into your imaginary world Ms Brooks.

Kathleen you did it again. This book should be turned into a movie. Galen and Jane were a really good match. I loved that other Characters showed up in this book. I hope there is more to come.

She has done it again!
Another fabulous visit to Moonshine Hollow. I loved seeing more of Zoey, Slade and the other characters as well as meeting Jane and Galen. Action, sadness and romance all wrapped up with some laughs as the bow on top.

Another outstanding book

Loved it!
This series is so different from other Kathleen Brooks' books, but yet still has the small town and close friendship vibe. This book was great as it added a whole new dimension with the stones and the weather. It will be interesting to see what happens with the disruption of power.

Short easy read that picks up right where book 3 left off. This is an interesting, fun story to read….

Amazing as always
The only downside is I have to wait so long for the next book!!! I’m glad we get to see Zoey and Slade’s story continue as well as parts of other characters. This is kind of an intro book for the next big bad of the series. I don’t recommend reading this one if you haven’t read the first three mostly because this is a continuation of those. However their is enough background in the book where you would be lost but not so much that if you have read them you are annoyed by it. But let’s be honest, even if you did read this first you would immediately go and read the ones you missed.

“Moonshine and Mischief” is the perfect addition to Kathleen Brooks’ “Moonshine Hollow” series. It essentially closes out the arc storyline from the first three books, while introducing (maybe hinting at is a better way of phrasing it) a new one. We get to know some the of the characters of the three previous books a little better while being introduced to new couple, one who is pivotal in this book and perhaps in future ones. Mixing her trademark humor, romance, and suspense, “Moonshine and Mischief” is a terrific addition to the Kathleen Brooks library. Looking forward to what I hope will be another installment in this charming series.

They are not just battling for their lives, but their futures, their love and their happiness. Lets hope true love bonds do make the magic stronger as the biggest battle is yet to come...

Not the normal Kathleen Brookes fair. With this series (this is book 4) she has ventured into paranormal romance territory. I read a lot of paranormal romance, insta love is common, especially in shapeshifter stories, but this was FAST.
If you haven’t read the previous books, you might be confused. I didn’t think the world building was done well for new people. The action was nonexistent. Even the romance was very PG. And a lot of the book focussed on the heroine from the first 3 books, Zoey.
If you are die-hard Brookes fan, give this a go, but it isn’t a good introduction to her writing, her contemporary romance is a lot better.

Jane has been on the run for too long and she needs friends and affection. Moonshine Hollow is the perfect place to give her everything she needs and more. Jane needs help and she will find far more than she could ever imagined.
Galen is instantly attracted to Jane. He wants to help Jane and give some peace. They are both stronger together and work hard to get rid of all of the evil after them.
Moonshine Hollow is a magical place that fights hard to defend its people from evil. They come together to bring peace and happiness. This series is engaging and so much fun to read.

Loved it!
This addition was so cute. All of the little feel good moments of good vs evil and good prevailing with just a hint of still still lurking.
As always, Kathleen have us lots of laughs and the antics of the elders are always worth a chuckle. Sadly, this story included a loss and it's always a testament to a writer's awesome abilities of you can manage to cry while reading and still see the happiness thereafter. You surely got that here.
I love the set up for another book being added to this series. I can't wait for more weddings and siblings to grace my TBR list.

Wow, just amazing, as always you have me gasping for more. I dont know how you do it but the stories just flow through you, like the magic in this book.
I know there will be more and I hope you don't have us waiting to long.
Moonshine Hollow may just well be one of my new favourite destinations.
Jane and Galen story was not what I expected but couldn't have been more perfect and of course our favourite power couple Zoey and Slade were everything we could hope for.
