"Earth has been different for a while, but I don't think we've ever had a beautiful, muscular alien dude falling from the sky. It's not really something you see every day."
The year is 2033.
Men are almost extinct after the war, leaving few women to scavenge what's left of planet earth.
Posy has been alone for a few years.
She tries to survive in a world where it's every girl for herself, until one fateful day when she finds an extra tall, buff alien man in the woods.
An alien man who has never met a female in his life.
This is just another version of Ice Planet Barbarians but on a dystopian Earth instead of a frozen planet in space - but I can't find the heart to be mad about it. There are enough differences to set this book apart and give it its own atmosphere and separate kind of tension. The romance is so much softer and sweeter in this book that I got addicted and binged it in under a day. I recommend this more than the Ice Planet Barbarians series for those that like the fluffy romance tropes. The male characters in this are also much better than Ice Planet Barbarians, purely for being less irritating and misogynistic. These guys understand God is a woman.
Will definitely be reading the sequel and thank you Suz for recommending this to me.
OMG! This was so good. Alein male who has never seen a female in his life lands on Earth. Earth's population dwindled down to mostly females because of wars. Posy living alone and finding the spaceship in her woods. Torint was smitten from the beginning. It was absolute fluff with a great plot. It was hilarious when the other aliens met Posy. I'm going to read the next book now. This universe/series is so interesting.
I’ve read this book in another platform and I was hooked. It is the first book that I read that involves an alien with action and romance. Once I started reading it, I continued until I finished it. A definite must read especially for those who have not read this kind of genre.
