The pages kept turning because I wanted to know what happened.

A good shifter story. I appreciated how natural characteristics of cougars were woven into the story. I liked the main characters and how they worked their way together. Satisfying ending.

Awesome story about a cougar shifter in the Dallas Force

Vance is a cougar shifter, rancher, and member of Dallas Force Special Ops. Cougar shifters normally don't usually have fated mates. He attracted to Delilah, who is VP of Dallas conclave of shifters. She is pregnant but keep telling Vance she doesn't need any help. After their daughter is born, they have been trying to be partners. Another conclave of shifters was to move in their territory. Their daughter and President of Dallas conclave have been kidnapped. Will they all be safe?

The characters are relatable, stubborn, and intriguing. This fast paced suspense has keep the reader on the edge of their seats. I love the action of the characters when they fight for their beliefs.

I recommend this story.

Delilah is in the Dallas conclave, and she and Vance happen to be cougar shifters. They are having problems with the power-hungry Austin conclave, so Delilah goes to talk with Vance about bodyguard protection -- and Delilah ends up pregnant when they get carried away. He recognizes that they are mates, but cougars are solitary creatures and she refuses to move in with him.

When a meeting is arranged with the Austin conclave, there is aggressive action that puts Vance and Delilah’s baby, Rose, in harm's way. Will her parents be able to save Rose? Will they take measures with the violent Austin conclave leader so this never happens again? And will Delilah reconsider and accept her mate’s offer to join him on the ranch?

I love this author’s books. The story line was good and the characters fun to watch as they interact with each other. Will Vance and Delilah find their HEA? Or will Delilah steadfastly maintain her solitary lifestyle? Grab your book and find out!

This book is fantastic! The next man on the Dallas SOS Force to find his mate is Vance. When he's not on missions for the SOS, he is running his ranch outside of town. Delilah is a member of the Dallas conclave and both she and Vance are cougar shifters, solitary by nature. One night, when she goes to talk to him about helping out with the Austin conclave that is causing problems, the two end up sharing a roll in the hay. This leaves Delilah pregnant and not sure what to do. She eventually tells Vance and he jumps right in to help, though she isn't always willing to accept it. When their little girl, Rose, is born, he tries to convince her to move in and she refuses. She doesn't realize what he has already figured out, they are mates. A meeting with the Austin conclave to resolve some issues, leads to a showdown that injures the current Dallas conclave president and puts Rose in harm's way. Vance and Delilah work together to not only save Rose but end the rule of the fanatical leader of the Austin conclave. This leads them to their happily ever after and Delilah towards the job that she has always wanted.

Cougars are solitary animals. When Delilah, the Vice President of the Dallas Conclave, goes to talk to Vance, a member of the Shifter's Special Ops, little did they know what their future would hold. Delilah had approached Vance to see if his special ops force would back her conclave up when they dealt with the Austin Conclave. Delilah is a strong, intelligent, independent woman who can hold her own in politics. I like that she was not only able to stand up for herself but she was also a very caring person. Vance's job when he isn't working for the Shifter's Special Ops is to run his ranch. They have a hot and steamy encounter and then go their separate ways as cougars would do. As they deal with the repercussions of that night and with the threat from Austin there is a lot they will have to handle. I loved Vance. Yes, he was a lone cougar who wanted his freedom but he was willing to do whatever he could when things changed. Sweet, sexy and protective, oh, yes! Rose was an adorable addition to the story and I'd love to see what her future entails. It looks like the Shifter's Special Ops will now be opening a branch in Los Angeles with Gabe as its first member. He seems to be at loose ends and needs something to focus his energies on so it should be interesting to read about.

Being a cougar shifter, Vance is use4d to being on his own, but when he meets Delilah it is lust at first fight for both of them and then they are happy to go on their way.
But when Delilah realises, she is pregnant everything changes. Vance wants them both in his life but Delilah is used to calling her own shots and as the VP of the Shifter Conclave she is used to giving orders.
When her Conclave is having problems with a neighbouring Conclave, she asks the SOS, whom Vance is a member, for security to a meeting. But things turn bad very quickly and his family is threatened.
They have to work together to protect their young family and stop a dictator.
Wow! I loved learning about the cougar shifter’s solitude choice and how it effects relationships. This was a great read that I thoroughly enjoyed and read in one go. Can’t wait for Gabe’s story.

Rancher, cougar Vance Morris is a bit tired of his neighbors trying to get him to settle down with their friends and relatives but he was not ready for the knockout he felt when he and nascent local politico Delilah Henderson meet, neither was she. But Delilah and her boss are concerned about the multitude of problems they’re suffering due to a neighboring conclave.

Vance and Delilah get carried away in their moment resulting in a new baby girl. While one might think that’s perfection for them, Vance hadn’t considered giving up his bachelorhood, Delilah wasn’t ready to give up her independence and neither thought they’d have to think of a little one at this point in their lives. Also, the team is called in as a political plot with widespread ramifications is discovered.

One and one dont always make two

If you a loner and a shifter it is not ever going to be easy to find a mate that understands .Worse could be finding a mate that feels exactly the same. How can two people who don't like being near other people ever manage to have a family even if that family comes in the shape of a cute and lovable baby ? A great shifter /political / fast paced action /romance story that will make you wonder where the time went as you read it
These are interlinked stories but each is a stand alone and can be read easily if you haven't come across any of the characters before ( but you will want to find out more after you have read this one )

Vance loved working his ranch and worki for the Dallas unit of the SOS. Delilah was the VP of the conclave and helped to keep everything going smoothly. One afternoon she went to see Vance about helping them with the Austin pack that was causing problems as a bodyguard sort of. They had a one afternoon affair and she ended up pregnant, she went and told Vance, he helped her out with taking care of Rose. So the unit went to help her and the president back up but the president was kidnapped and rescued but found that their daughter was kidnapped to get her to help get what he wanted. But they got everything sorted out and Delilah and Rose ended up moving in with Vance!

This is Vance's story. Vance is a rancher and a member of the SOS Force. He is a cougar shifter and he meets Delilah, the Vice President of the Dallas Conclave. She is also a cougar shifter and she goes to Vance because the Dallas Conclave is having problems with the Austin Conclave. Then there is a summit meeting set up in Austin with the Austin President. Everything blows up right after the meeting. This was a fast paced book and I absolutely loved reading this story. Cougars are very solitary. It was interesting about these mates and the way they work together. This was an awesome story. I can't wait for the next series. Thank you.

I will rarely rate a book if under 3 but I really, really had a problem with this book.
I enjoy a good shifter book and who doesn’t enjoy a surprise baby story. 😉😃 which is how this book is put forward as.
Unfortunately about halfway through the storyline went very heavily political thinly veiled as a shifter political problem but was so obviously based on the current political drama and sides playing out now. I felt like a I was being lectured and force fed someone’s political views.
Saying that And after reading the first book of this series I will be skipping the rest of the series.

This is the fourth book in the Special Ops Shifters: Dallas Force series, it can be read as a standalone story. I found it rushed in parts, overall there is plenty of drama and action in the story and definitely entertaining.
The chemistry between Delilah and Vance is sizzling, they have plenty to work to with an unplanned pregnancy then a delightful happy baby to conniving shifters out for power. Can this couple overcome the drama and betrayals to have a happy little family?

Vance has a ranch he works on and he's part of the SOS Force and happens to be a cougar. Delilha how is Vice President for the all the conclaves in the Dallas are is seeking potential help from the SOS Force. After meeting that one day there's a pull between them and after one night together. They destined their lives to be together with Delilha kicking and screaming until that one day with blood shed. This book has wonderful characters, twisting plot, romance and the HEA.

Enjoyable Read

Vance and Delilah are both cougar shifters. They are also mates. Since this is discovered early on, one would think that a HEA is fast. Wrong! Cougars are solitary creatures so Delilah refuses to live with Vance. Having a daughter,Rose, together doesn't change her mind. When an aggressive conclave attacks puts Rose in danger, Vance and Delilah must try to save her. Will anything be able to give these cougars a HEA?

Vance enjoys his life on his ranch after getting out of the service. But he enjoys his work with SOS as well. A problem in Texas between two enclaves means the SOS are called in but to keep a Low key. Delilah is second in command of an enclave and things get complicated when one night with Vance results in something unexpected. An evil intent on taking over the presidency tries to get his own way. It was a great read with some good characters. I can’t wait to read about Gabe. He needs a big hug from someone.

Shifter story different from others

Delilah and Vance are both cougar shifters. They are intimate one night with repercussions that result in a shifter baby,Rose.
Vance is a member of the Force and Delilah is a VP of the Dallas conclave. After a member of the shifter conclave in Austin steals in Dallas. The 3 of them,Vance,Rose,and Delilah end up making problems for Austin after they kidnap Rose and the President, Whiteside and reveal the ideas of the Austin President’s agenda which is as a megalomaniac. They defeat him and believe in each other.

Good book

Vance is a cougar shifter and likes to be alone. That's not as hard as it seems since there are so few of them in the Dallas area. He meets Delilah, a cougar shifter like he is, at a rodeo where she's come looking for him. The attraction is instantaneous and they go at it, hot and heavy. Delilah winds up pregnant and she has doubts about telling Vance. After some hesitation, she tells him and discovers he wants to be a part of the baby's life.

Anyway, without giving away too much of the story, they have their ups and downs but finally get their HEA.

Delilah's unexpected baby

Delilah is Vice President of the Dallas shifter conclave and a cougar shifter. Vance is a cougar shifter and also a nember of the Shifter special ops on Dallas. When Delilah goes to Vance's farm for business they end up having a non complicated one night stand. This results in an unexpected pregnancy which she feels she should tell Vance about. I would heartily recommend this book to readers who love a story that has a tough woman, a handsome man and a beautiful baby girl that they both adore and a situation that they both don't want.

Outstanding

I liked how the couple got together. How it was both of them together taking care of the baby and not just the mother. It said how he was the one who was to take care of the baby while she was to go out and see about the job, and to possibly get a higher job. And he was behind her getting it, was supporting her in her getting it. While he still did the most in taking care of the baby, with him still doing alittle bit of his job. That's really good for him in doing.

I always love a good fated mates story but this was one with a difference. With Vance and Delilah both being Cougar Shifters although their Cougars recognised the mate in the other one they didn't particularly want to act on it as Cougars are solitary and both itched for their own space a lot of the time. When what is supposed to be a one time only deal results in a pregancy and Vance wants to be involved, will they be able to work things out especially with a power crazed shifter from another conclave to deal with? Enjoyable story which makes me want to read the rest of the series

I’m usually not one to read shifter stories, so was refreshing surprised to find that I liked this book. The story line was different and well thought out. The h and H were both the same animal, which was interesting in how the author used the animals traits in their human forms as well.

Vice President of the conclave Delilah feels the threats to her and her conclave are serious. She wants to have some one for back up. She contacts Vance’s elite group. Vance is unsure about this but knows he must protect her. I enjoyed this story about an amazingly strong female leader and a strong male who is ok with it. It is almost a political thriller. I really enjoyed the different plot twist.

Each book in this entertaining series can definitely be read as a standalone. The reader learns that Delilah and Vance are strong individuals in their human or animal forms. But cougars are different ... they need their solitude. Don’t miss any of their story it’s brimming with action, suspense, danger and so much chemistry. The Mating of the Cougars.

This story was about two Cougars who meet up, become interested in each other for a night & end up with an accidental pregnancy. They work together raising their daughter but it's not easy. One works for the Conclave, while the other is part of the SOS special Forces. Needless to say they end up working the same case that gets their daughter kidnapped.

It doesn’t follow ’the usual’ format of shifter stories, this isn’t about one type of shifter or one pack, but an entire community and more. I couldn’t see how they could hide a hospital in plain sight, and some of the action plodded along a bit (for me). The love element could have been pepped up a bit more too, but overall it was interesting

A very nice shifter HEA

I really liked this story. It was written a little differently the other shifter books I have read. Not bad, just different. It still had the HEA which I always like. I liked the characters too. The male and female main characters were strong. The author incorporated cougar characteristics into the characters and merged human emotions perfectly. Good book all around.
