This is an amazing start to a new series but it does end on a cliffhanger. Never fear though because the author will have the next book ready to go before long. I've wanted to see how Master Cordell and Tiffany were getting along since we met Tiffany in Option Number Three. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. Plus we're getting to meet a character who will be in one of the coming books!! Get ready because this series is going to be awesome!!!

Sooooooo, you know how they say you can’t eat just ONE chip, that is exactly how I feel about Samantha Cole’s books! I’m extremely excited that a new spin off series is coming out, the original Trident Series is my go to re-reads, I even have my husband reading them. Anyways, this little novella which I devoured in one sitting is Master Cordell and Tiffany’s story, and I loved it. Yes, it’s a little cliffhanger-ish but only because it is introducing a whole new location and a few characters that I’m looking forward to reading more about. I love the idea of a resort, and especially can’t wait to see which of my favorite couples are going to vacation there!

While the story ends on a cliffhanger it does not detract from the overall story, nor does it impact ones enjoyment of this book. A great start, to what will undoubtedly be a wonderful series, with Master Cordell and Tiffany the mainstay characters of a resort purpose-built for the BDSM community. New characters have been introduced who will undoubtedly feature in future stories makes this book a great start to a new series by a must-read author for me.

Just a fantastic story to start off this new adventure!! Cordell is a Master retired cop and Tory’s cousin Tiffany has been under his command since she had left an abusive relationship.
I love how Cordell is making Tiffany not scared any longer! He is a calm, patienced Dom. The fear and abuse the previous man had heaped upon her makes him very angry! Then their is the lust, steam and love in this book. Tiffany has aways to go. With both of them working to build the new resort, I’m sure there will be lots more of getting her confidence back and their love making! New characters and such are wonderfully fleshed out and very descriptive. Don’t fret pets, their is a dose of some of the Covenant Characters in this too! I can’t wait for the next one in Samantha A. Cole’s new series.♥️♥️

Damn I didn’t want that to end, and end on such a cliffhanger!!! I will be waiting eagerly for the next instalment in this brand new series. Perfect way to introduce the new series with some characters that fans of The Trident Series already know and love while getting to know Cordell and Tiffany we had briefly met. Cordell will melt your heart and that is all I’m going to say!

I love Cordell and Tiffany. I hate the cliffhanger🙃. The atmosphere feels cosy and warm. I am curious how the place it going to look like . I missed the suspense but it was an joy to read. And it makes me looking forward to the future of this series.

As introductory books, go, this one bridges perfectly between the Trident security series and the new Master Key resort. We have previously been introduced to Tiffany in Option Number Three of the Trident security series as Mitch's blind date. Realising that Tiffany needs help after a bad BDSM relationship, Mitch pairs her with Master Cordell in a no-"intimacy" pairing to learn what a healthy BDSM relationship looks like. Master Cordell is medically retired from the police and Mitch pitches the position as resort manager and resident dom for their new lifestyle resort in the Florida Keys. The book details the move, the introduction of new characters but also the decisions on a possible a new type of contract between Master Cordell and Tiffany. Although not a large cliffhanger - the book resolves issues to some satisfaction - the story will continue in the next book.

While it has new characters it crosses over with the well loved Trident team and other characters throughout her stories. As a novella it was quick to read, but the flow on and storyline will leave you wanting so much more. Less about the security company and more about the lifestyle they lead, Cordell and Tiffany have already made an impact in this new series.
Cordell is ex Police force, but forced into early retirement due to an injury, this may have slowed down his end goals in the force but it opens up all new opportunities in Key West, running a new BDSM resort. This book ends on a cliffhanger, with the reader unsure about how Master Cordell and Tiffany’s revised relationship will progress, but it just makes you want to reader more (and more and more). Longtime fans of Samantha A Cole will recognize Master Cordell and Tiffany from Option Number Three, and will also rejoice at the brief cameos from Mitch, Ty, and Tori from the same book. The Sawyers are opening a new club on a private island in the Keys, and they approach Cordell to manage it. This novella focuses mostly on Master Cordell and Tiffany’s initial contract and works to the changes they make as they move to the Master Key Resort. We also meet Dante, the new head of security, and glimpse some intriguing new characters. I really can’t wait for the next in this series.

Exciting new series from Samantha, it has all the elements of her other books with a mix of private security, law enforcement, BDSM and some mystery and suspense. Great characters most of them we have met in one book or other in other series. It isn't a long story but is one that soon has you investing in these characters and the end result of their relationship. It is well written and has an interesting over all plot that I can't wait to see how it pans out and comes to it's own. The area the resort is in sounds very scenic in the surroundings and I look forward to hearing more about the set up and building itself. This does end a bit suddenly and I'm sure is going to get picked straight up in the next book, I seem to be reading a few like that at the moment lol, it can be frustrating to wait for the next part but hopefully it won't be a long one. Original and exciting.

Master Cordell and Tiffany make a wonderful couple and hope they continue their their relationship although the story ends in a cliffhanger and won’t know until later. I didn’t even know I was done with the book until I finished the last sentence, it was so good I was totally engrossed in the story, looking forward to the new characters and the series!

What a great start to a new series! I love Master Cordell and Tiffany and am very excited to see them get their HEA. I am so looking forward to meeting the new Doms and Subs in upcoming books in this series. I loved it and can’t wait for more!

Master Key Resort is the beginning of a new series by Samantha A Cole and I am beyond excited because I have been a fan of Ms. Cole’s since I discovered her Trident series. Every book that she has written has intriguing characters, compelling storylines, and gives me all the feels possible. Master Key Resort is no exception. Ms. Cole has set up this series beautifully by focusing on characters that we are already invested in and giving us peeks into those who will obviously be featured in future books.
In fact, it’s Ms. Cole’s ability to create characters that I want to be friends with that keeps me coming back with each book. Yes she also writes dramatic scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat. But it’s the characters themselves that keep my attention throughout the book. Watching Tiffany slowly coming out of her shell and recover from a previous abusive relationship brought me so much joy. The delicate but dominant way that Cordell helps her heal made me melt into a big puddle of goo.
I want to know these two inside and out and I am cheering loudly for them to receive the happy ending that both deserve. But that’s not happening just quite yet because Master Key is just the beginning of their story. And you know I will be first in line to read the next book as soon as it’s available. Hopefully I won’t have to wait too long.

This is a new spinoff from the authors Trident Security series. In this book we see some familiar characters and it's great to see Tiffany and how she is recovering from her previous Dom. The Sawyer's have decided to open a new Lifestyle Resort in the Florida Keys and have purchased the entire small island. They are rebuilding from the ground up. Mitch has contacted Master Cordell to run the new place and now Master Cordell and his submissive Tiffany are relocating from Las Vega to Florida. Master Cordell and Tiffany have been in a D/s relationship without sexual intimacy while she heals and finds herself again. Now that they are moving to start new in Florida, are they both ready to renegotiate their contract and include that intimacy? In this story Samantha introduces us to the new location and some new people as well as a great big tease to the future of Master Cordell and Tiffany. I cannot wait for the next story in the Master Key Series.

Master Cordell and Tiffany are great together! I love how this book allows them to expand their relationship, break new ground (literally and figuratively) and move to the next stage. The supporting characters, some that we know and some that we hope to know better soon, fill out the great cast of characters. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and can't wait to see what happens next.

This prequel left me wanting more and I can not wait for the rest of this series. I am thrilled to see Cordell and Tiffany begin their story. I was hoping Tiffany would get her story after meeting her in Mitch, Tyler, and Tori’s book, Option Number Three. I love Cordell and Tiffany together. The way Samantha weaves each character’s story into a series is wonderful. Continuing the relationships of characters and sub characters throughout each book in the series allows for storyline and character development across the series. I am delighted to see characters cross into a new series and am excited to see where Samantha will take us next.

What a great start to Samantha's new Master Key Series! We get new characters, a new location, some of our old favs and a doozie of a cliffhanger. Besides it being too short, (yeah, yeah, I get it's a novella...)my only downside is the cliffhanger. I'm not a big fan of those but I am definitely wanting MORE!!!!

This is a great read by Samantha Cole. Cordell and Tiffany have a sweet story. Cordell being the protective dom retraining Tiffany after being abused by her previous master. This is the start of their story. It's way too short. It is a cliffhanger. I look ward to the next book!!

Samantha A Cole has written a great new start to a series set in the Florida Keys. Master Cordell and Tiffany are heading up the new resort. Tiffany has recovered from her abusive relationship, and they are taking their relationship to a whole new level. I can’t wait to see what happens next. The ending was a cliffhanger, but it was a happy one. Hopefully the next book will be ready soon.

There are no grammatical or editorial errors.
I don't think I am a fan of this book, it's a short story, but more than that it's a cliff hanger and unless it's a full length book as part of a series I dislike cliff hangers, I actually felt cheated and it's the first time this author has ever left me feeling that way.
The characterisation was okay, but again, the constant reference to 'pet' and unrelenting 'Sir' grated. I understand it's a BDSM book, but good God it's annoying when it's 24/7 - like a deliberate removal of personality.
There was no great romance, no action and little in the way of sex scenes, what there was, was obviously ruled by protocol and it's that distance that really bothered me.
Tiffany is supposedly being 're-programmed' following a bad Dom, just the thought of a human being undergoing training in how to be some other Dom's idea of a good submissive is enough to turn me right off the book, most especially when there is no emotional commitment from him.
This isn't a love story, I don't know what it is, and I honestly don't know if I will continue with the series, given the cost I don't think it makes sense to purchase a series of short stories when it could be better handled as part of a longer set of books, the reading experience would be greatly improved in my opinion.
I generally love books by this author but the current fad for short stories written as cliff hangers is a definite turn off for me, another is the stern Dom who seems unable to forge emotional attachment.

Master Key Resort is the first book in Samantha A Cole’s new Master Key Series. I’m really excited about this series and absolutely loved reading this book. We’ve met Master Cordell Roberts and submissive, Tiffany Armstrong in a previous book and get to follow their journey. Cordell is taking a medical retirement from his police service after having hip replacement surgery required after being shot while on duty. He has been offered the position of manager and resident Dom for a new resort in Florida Mitch, Troy, Ian and Devin Sawyer are building. He has been in a D/s relationship with Tiffany for 9 months helping her recover from an abusive toxic relationship with a wannabe Dom. Both have developed feelings unsure of the others reaction. Cordell wants Tiffany to go with him and also wants to renegotiate their contract to include being intimate. (Maybe that will get past the Zon Bots...intimate is less tame than what I want to say.) This book is a fantastic start to the series and I can’t wait to see what happens next at Master Key.

This is the first installment in a new series. It has characters from the previous Trident series but the focus is definitely on a whole new cast of characters. This first story is more about set up and backstory.
The first few chapters were a little slow for me as there was a scene setting and build up. But the whole book was a fairly fast read with no real intrigue or drama, but you don't miss it.
Cordell and Tiffany are most of the focus in this intro and we see them progressing their relationship, but it is still early on. Who knows what is to come.
We also meet Dante - head of security for Master Key. He is in a relationship, but there may be something brewing there. We also got introduced to some of Dante's friends and a mysterious stranger.
Can't wait for the next and then the next and the next...you get my drift.

This story sets the scene for Ms. Cole’s new series. The characters from her Trident Security & The Covenant series make appearances. The Sawyers have had success with Trident Security & their bdsm club The Covenant that they decided to try their hand at a resort. Cordell Roberts was taking early retirement from his police job & trying to decide what to do with the rest of his life when Sawyer approached him about running the new resort. He needed to decide what to do about the submissive he was helping to recuperate after a bad relationship. Will he take the job? Will Tiffany go with him?

Omg Samantha you absolutely did it again this book absolutely was fantastic. I am so excited to see if you start this as a new series that would be fabulous. Cordell Roberts is a Dom and is getting ready to leave the police force due to being shot in the hip and is helping retrain abused submissive Tiffany Armstrong who is Tori's cousin who was in abusive master/slave relationship and is starting to have feelings for her Dom Cordell, but when he is approached by mitch and ty about a new resort in the keys and help run it ,but will he take Tiffany with him or will he end his contract with her? Will her ex come after her? This book was absolutely fantastic and omg I need more from these characters and can't wait for the next book lol
