King Richard has an opportunity to redeem himself in the Crusades.....other characters interact, fall in love, take part in many battles against the Muslim hordes of Saladin
This is the final entry in Broomall's trilogy regarding Richard the Lionheart and the Crusades.
If you've read the first two installments of the series, this will wrap everything up in a nice, neat, package. Kind of predictable, but enjoyable and it reads fast.
Only available in Trade Paper, so don't go looking for a hardback copy - they don't exist!
Briefly, Richard gets a chance to redeem himself for what he viewed as his failure in the Crusades after not capturing Jerusalem from the Muslim hordes of Saladin. Meanwhile, people fall in love, even get married, get captured, fight a number of battles (if you like graphic battle scenes, you'll love some of the ones in here!). And that's all I'm going to say because I don't like spoilers!
